The jetwing lighthouse is a very nice hotel, in all the areas (public, room) very homely and comfortable style. You arrive and immediately felt comfortable.
Already on arrival you get on the terrace with a wonderful view over the sea checked in and I wanted all, how close you here at the sea is, closer is not.
The rooms are big and comfortably furnished, only the bathroom is a bit dark and the wardrobe offers not that much space. For me alone it was sufficient, but for 2 people it is already closely, its clothes to accommodate. Otherwise belong the ... integrated closets renovated, the doors terminals and the wood was very worn.
I had the impression, that in the hotel you deal for to. The front of the building of the hotel was just completely renovated. Of the construction work has as a guest but received nothing.
The food is to all meal times excellent. Very good breakfast and evenings either a menu or buffet, depending on how the hotel is busy. Everything was always and at any time very good.
You could eat lunch in the restaurant eat or at the anchor bar a snack menu. Also here was everything great.
Unfortunately is, that one in the sea because of the rocks and the available surf not to bathe can.

The hotel lies yes really nice, but the atmosphere was very impersonal. There are a few tables in the outdoor area for dinner or breakfast. The dining room indoors was cold and uncomfortable. The lawn for sunbathing at the sea is nice. However you can't in sea swim, it is too dangerous. The spa area is very nice. Evenings is in the hotel nothing was offered. Nearby there is no possibility something to undertake. The worst but it was our room: worn out and dingy. The open bathroom was divided into toilet and shower. Both dark and really really shabby. ... We would this hotel not select. We had unfortunately 3 nights booked the place Galle we were disappointed. There is not only evenings nothing, but during the day also dead. There is a few restaurants, the at 21 o'clock close. The place in 2 hours by. If I had known would have, we would certainly further threats, without to stay there again. read more

After a strenuous round trip by Sri Lanka we arrived in the hotel Jetwing lighthouse and the feeling the relaxation was immediately there. The hotel has a fantastic location at the top of the rocks at the beach in a quiet location on the outskirts of Galle.
it is not bad, that nearby no further restaurants are, since the kitchen is good. The Setmenü on evening offers enough selection and Asian buffet -even with constantly fresh prepared food options.
on the terrace great You can both view the breakfast, as well as the dinner enjoyment. Unfortunately there are only 2 tables for two, on which you can sit, as the other tables for Two small, rugged concrete benches.
the staff were friendly and ... helpful, shines however with speed and efficiency. The front desk was not always sufficient occupied.
our deluxe room, in the wing directly at the front desk, had a beautiful view of the beach and not, as the other wing on the little Pidgin, noisy, upper pool, mainly of families with children populated was. The room all necessary equipment characteristics, however it was for a longer stay clearly too little storage space and average comfort.
the main pool above the beach in the garden is large and has a nice location. The beach chairs had enough space.
