The hotel gives a perfect impression the victorian period! The rooms are partially recently renovated, mine was not renovated yet, however nevertheless completely okay.
in the dining room you felt like a ball of the victorian period. The dinner was all right, the breakfast buffet very good, rich and diverse.
The terrace and the garden are impressive, the garden very spacious and very British.
All together the hotel has absolute charm and from the modern hotels, where the names of the chains completely interchangeable. read more

The hotel is a stylish old mansion in a huge park with beautiful plants. The furnishing is plush but comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was tasty and well stocked. The rooms are clean but small. The bathrooms were partly renovated, but does not, the water worked. Part was shower only cold or not at all possible, since the water level only a trickle. In the evening of our arrival I was given a room, the room on the first floor right next to the street and was surrounded by scaffolding. To the room within the scaffolding a ladder to my open ... window. Replacement was only possible, when the tour guide his room left. Here, too, direct holding and dinner from 21:30 o'clock to the dolls music of an alleinunterhalters the deafening volume. read more

The room was not cleaned despite complaining several times. The housekeeping service is not 2 star. A shame for the hotel, it's in a great location and dinner was very good, but in the cleanliness an absolute flop. The hotel (former bishopâs residence) was built 1841 and spray much atmosphere, but the dirt is quite old. A shame. read more

It's one of those hotels from the year 1921 in which the time warp seems to be. Amenities, decor and ambience are not to todays standards. Depending on the location of the room is a significant noise from a cooler subjected from 5 am to in the evening in operation. The windows glazed, so it is very noisy and hot. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The bathroom was not cleaned for 4 days stay, on arrival were clear signs of the predecessor, for example hair in the tub, visible, in the corners and on the furniture has ... dust caked on it, there were in the room and in the hallways smelled very stuffy. Cleanliness and hygiene should be - especially for a hotel of this category - of course. The decor is not to todays standards. At least the room was recently painted and new curtains installed. The crowd is on average, older. The distance to the center and harbor is approximately two kilometers away, a bus drove there. I would not recommend this hotel. read more
