Who peace in informal environment with a dream beach and little boys are looking for, is right at home here. For much action and action absolutely unsuitable.
Food is through the strange spices partly very habituation needy and the diversity is not with large attachments comparable. There are lunch super fresh pizza at the beach, where one also the ingredients can. Unfortunately, that it lobster also in all-inclusive only for an extra charge of 26 Euro! -and the indian ocean. Also scampi in vain.
But you absolute peace and almost no people. When we were there, there were just about ... 30 guests in the small facilities. But the most beautiful were the monkeys, the every day around 17° hours when we came. The we had daily with Leibnitz mini biscuits fed. They were really friendly. The we miss the most. read more

The pinewood village resort has only 51 room and is reminiscent of a small village in the middle of nature and directly at the beach.
The garden is beautiful, full of ancient trees and exotic plants.
You feel good straight away very familiar. The people, who work there.
Just after arriving we were greeted by the guest relation managerin Pamela mshai welcomed in a friendly manner. It is always for all of the guest there and spread a good mood.
The rooms are in one-story villas. On the ground floor of each villa, there is a large apartment with a ... large terrace and wonderful of high quality african decor. In this apartments/suites also has a separate kitchen and you can get a private cook book. He/she cooks then every evening private food only for the guests of the particular apartments.
On the 1. floor are 2 room with a balcony. These are small and simple decorated.
Outside jump during the day 2 various affenarten rum and are very funny but also rude. Should not one will.
The balcony door should always closed, otherwise the monkeys purely and sugar and milk, the in every room next to the coffee machine are. Apart from that the monkeys not aggressive and not dangerous. By the pool the always exactly at 15 o'clock congregated, then tea time with marmorkuchen and this is from apes loved. Then the really close by and try the cakes from the plate to steal.
The pool is in the middle of of the garden, is very clean and nice. There is enough chairs. There is always peace and pleasant mood.
In the pool is a pool bar which from 10 to 18 o'clock is open. Here and in the lobby is wifi free of charge.
By the pool you can also excellent lunch food. Two chefs ready here fresh pasta, salads, burgers and other specialities. Delicious. Also you can the food at the beach get served.

The restaurant is in the main building, all around artificial lake with hundreds of carp and from the water grow trees on which wonderful yellow birds sit (s. pictures). You can see that always for breakfast. Wonderful.
Breakfast is english, so no wide selection of cheese and sausage like in Germany. There is itself geackene breads, even whole wheat bread and delicious sweet particles.
The coffee and tea are kenyan export, therefore be good.
There are also fresh egg dishes prepared and wonderful waffles from vollkornteig! The fresh fruit is the crowning. Such mangos gives it only in the tropics!
The chef is mr. Dickson. This is a chef the only one in the sense that every guest tastes and goes well. I after a safari the stomach easily spoiled and was careful with food. He has noticed, has me and proposed, that i see it as a bad diet cooks to me better, it did for two days and has thereby giving me super good helped.
The food is great, super hygienic and tastes amazing.
The whole kitchen crew is wonderful. There is monday mongolian buffet by the pool. Here live cooked and african music made, wonderful.
The beach is very beautiful, clean-white sand and clear water,
Since this hotel in a bay a little bit farther away from other large hotels is, there is no rush of boys to watch. It is only 4 stable seller of souvenirs with a small hut there. The must the hotel but do not enter.
Gästestrukrur -mostly english, australians, swiss and a few german. Very pleasant.
Evenings you can tasty cocktails in the hotel bar drink.

A small and fine hotel with weaknesses in the details. For the now very high price you could expect more and get. Breakfast is not comparable with the bigger hotels. The room decor is not 4 stars. It is large and well maintained but that was it already. Safety deposit box only for an extra charge, tv not at all available. Nearby the reception there is a tv where you a bit of the world can hear, if not a kenyan channel walking distance. The beach is good, but in the sea swimming at this point not or only very ... difficult. Ring around the hotel is nothing! I mean nothing! You can very long walk along the beach and with a little luck you had also no beach boy at the heels, if one of the best places on french replies. A real infrastructure is nearby from the hotel not available. Holiday food Robinson Crusoe only with more service. The tops the hotel: very clean, 2 affenfamilien for entertainment concerns. Small but fine hotel!
If you rather small and informal and who rather peace and relaxation searches, is right at home here!
The hotel is rather off the beaten track location (therefore also no good shops). There is no loud and disturbing animation. Situated on the powdery white sands of sandy beach this hotel there is less disturbance by 'seller' as in the larger hotels. The food is very good and varied. The staff are very hard-working and extremely friendly.

If you from the stress of everyday life will, the can be it in this hotel. No disco, no animations, etc. Pure relaxation, an oasis of peace. I felt like in paradise. The garden area is very well maintained and looks like a paradise. I had rarely such a friendly and lovely staff experienced, as in the Pinewood village. What the food subject, so it was varied and in good taste and if one special wishes had, so they were met. Also the spa area offers a lot at, for example full-body massages with aromatherapy, I twice for 60 minutes could enjoy, equally one can make one's hair clean leave. Never the staff were pushy. I have pinewood in my heart. All together, I'm thrilled this small paradise and I will definitely me there again next year arrive.

We are last year also in the hotel been. The hotel is small and quiet, total relaxation. The pinewood is a small Perle am wonderful GALU beach. The staff are super friendly; the food extraordinary good. Really dreamlike, if you quiet like!
what is it to moan:
- by the pool a missing shower (and that's it!)
tips: really good assorted water sports center direct at the hotel for kite surfers and divers.
however want operator always dollar bill and avoid the volatility of the Kenya Schillings.
we dipped only in the morning and always 2 dives with a surface 45 minutes from maximum carried out. You just have to love' bear'. The lying off Reefs have ... a moderate Korallenbewachs but there are lots of interesting fish there. The diving guides are nice and experienced. Definitely the price sheet and never read more than 12 Dives to make, because then it is a terrible surcharge.

After our safari we loved the flair in this small fine hotel really amazed! The food was incredibly good- every day variety and one of better as the other! Therefore review from the bad food not understand! Relaxation and total peace! Please do not of the beach boys let this put you off- regards at lottery- great wooden figures and fob and want to learn our language and chat. If one its rests wants-not ignore- but you say! After a 10-day safari just what we wanted. Unhitch and relax! It works great in this hotel, nobody was pushy, no entertainment! The staff are super friendly and helpful, for Kenyan proportions really first-class, no pole pole, but always Chop chop if the tourist a problem had ☺
