The hotel is located at a main street. Garage is hard to find, it is even more difficult from this out again to drive. All in all, it is good, if you are in the garage elevation, you should not be afraid a great slope with a lot of gas to take! read more

The location is great, direct in the immediate vicinity of the old town with market places, restaurants and pubs. Good starting point, around the beautiful Koblenz to explore. Parking spaces near the hotel unfortunately no that great. read more

The hotel scored due to its good location in the immediate vicinity of the old town and the hotel's own underground car park. For a longer stay the hotel is however not recommendable, since the furnishing the room/ hotels like a better youth hostel reminds. Furthermore couches scarcely 50 IG % the room on a busy street. A quiet night with an open window is so unfortunately not possible. read more

I was with a group of 42 persons in the hotel. Everybody was the opinion, that the hotel a the best was, the we in the last few years had visited. Very clean, staff very friendly and helpful, super breakfast buffet. A shame, that there is no bar, where you meeting can. But the hotel lies so convenient in the town this is it enough bars and bars. read more

Functional city hotel, room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast per person nine, 50 Euro, therefor you get different kinds of bread and rolls, various juices, coffee, tea, cold cuts, eggs, various jams and cereals. Internet per day five euro, parking in the underground garage nine Euro/day. Around the hotel (occupied) only locals park places. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy. No air conditioning in the rooms. Our room (a. Floor) faced the street. In the summer with opened window is sleep due to the street noise only with Gehörstöpseln possible. We had a city hotel with appropriate noise disturbance ... book, us was aware, but that the pool would be. For us this is a K. O. criterion. read more

Decent city hotel in a very central location. Friendly and competent service, good breakfast buffet. Very narrow and totally overcrowded parking garage. Vehicles parked not only on the cars. Ausgahrt only possible if other Vehicles also been moved. But extra parking facility is almost a joke. Parking near the hotel are otherwise not available. Had a room to the street. The traffic noise was significantly. In the morning one means the trash collection is in the room. At open window is impossible to sleep. With the window closed bearable. All together very decent hotel with two flaws: traffic noise and ... parking. read more

Easily reachable by car. Underground garage available (9 €). Directly in front of the pedestrian area. We had booked a room at the back of the hotel so no street noise. The breakfast there was nothing to complain about, plenty of choice. Check-in and check-out was very quick. For one weekend a recommended Hotel. read more

The situation of the hotel to the city center is very good to Koblenz, the footpath Deutsches Eck monument in about 10-15 minutes.
But there is a key drawback: cleanliness!
When we moved into our room we found a dirty carpet before, I am not fussy, but on that carpet I would not walk in socks Al (I'm not). This fact about 30 minutes after I reported arrival at the front desk (that the carpet was thoroughly (so wet) should be), the lady behind the counter apologized (it was apparently also embarrassing), but after two nights was the carpet not ... cleaned!
A hotel room can also a few older furniture (the mattresses should be okay), but such significant shortcomings in the areas of cleanliness and handling of complaints are an absolute no-go, this is a hotel not so great location or a retrieval.
I'd recommend this hotel absolutely not. read more

The hotel is located on a lively street, a bus station is in front of the house, the pedestrian area and the old town with many restaurants is located across the street.
That is a good thing, because in the hotel there was neither a bar nor a lounge.
Promenade, bus station and shopping centre are within a few minutes walking distance.
The front desk is efficient and friendly. My room, number 28, was sufficiently large, clean and everything worked. Although the room at the entrance to the staircase and elevator and the vending machine was, there was no impairment. ...
'View', those who spend a lot of time, not much, therefore the rooms to the rear much quieter.
Breakfast is served from 6.30 o'clock. The buffet is plentiful, what is missing, is replaced by the very attentive staff immediately. Fully booked a second room is open.
Conclusion: if you stay at the city not want to be dependant on public means of transport and a solid breakfast estimates, is in the hotel kurfürst balduin well cared for. read more

We booked this hotel for a city trip through Koblenz and the surrounding area.
On arrival, we were able to leave our room until 16 o'clock.
The decor of the rooms reminded me of hospital room-very uncomfortable, old carpet kratziger.
In the morning we had only cold water in the shower.
In the breakfast room we had to wait 15 minutes for an empty spot. The breakfast buffet consists of packet of sausages and cheese and is very poor and not appealing.
The service in the breakfast room was the purest disaster. read more

This hotel lives of its location. This is however it.
-dirty, worn out rooms;
-Towels only cloth
Staff is on complaints, only will change nothing
-Front desk staff were partly very 'cocky'
Breakfast was moderate, for the drinks, you won't be asked
Employee Frstk converse in the room very loud-understated.
courteous service is something else
Parking spaces (underground 9.50 €)-limited
-Wireless with 5, -€ per day to expensive

On the edge of the old part of town archived

The hotel is located on the edge of the old town and the pedestrian area starts right across the street, so are restaurants, cafes and major destinations were easily visit within walking distance. However, the hotel is on a busy thoroughfare, the noise is in the rooms facing the street with the windows closed to reduce. The rooms to the yard side are considerably more quiet, only in rooms on the first floor and you can hear the exhaust area of the kitchen. The rooms are rather sparse, and not comfort was set up in the foreground, but there is ... a LCD tv available. The carpet was a strained and the bed was badly worn out. In my view, for one night so it was okay, but not for a long stay. 9.50 euro breakfast and the three-star standard. Selection, quality and quantity of the food are really good. Eggs, sausage, cereal, fresh fruit salad (not canned) and a very good selection of rolls are available. The dining hall with six tables is not very welcoming. In the vicinity of the hotel are hardly any public parking, the drive for the hotel's own underground car park (9 euro per day) is tucked away at the back of the building. The garage is very tight and we must be aware, if there was a parking space is available. Because of its location and the standard of the hotel reasonable price (posted business rate: 52 €including breakfast), I would recommend this hotel for a business trip or short stay away. read more

The hotel should better money in new beds, rather than invest in flat screen tv's in the rooms. My room was on the first floor, at the opening of the window was right after the exhaust fan outside the window had. Luckily the temperatures were pleasant and I was able to close the window at night. The room is clean and in order. 9, -€ for the garage and 5, -€ for the Internet I thought too expensive. There is no park around the hotel. Opportunities for shopping, as well as bars, restaurants and snacks are available and also recommendable. ... Otherwise, the hotel is definitely recommendable. read more
