This hotel is absolutely recommendable, if you have a quiet and relaxed vacation with different excursions in the area want to. We were 5 days in this hotel and had a room with sea view and booked half board. Recommendable is definitely a rental car, since in the immediate vicinity of the hotel not a lot to recommend is. Worthwhile are excursions to Sevilla, Huelva, Jerez or Cadiz! Location: a bit off the beaten path with great view of the port with lighthouse, supermarket right under the hotel, to the beautiful lonely beach it goes with the boat (tickets at ... the front desk) Staff: at the front desk very friendly and helpful, check in/ check out problem-free and fast, in the restaurant mostly friendly, partly overburdened Food: varied buffet to the breakfast and dinner, delicious! Drink prices are appropriate, also in the hotel bar, in the during our stay 2 times live music was offered. Room: big enough with a view of the sea and balcony, bathroom also sufficient and always clean, safe: 1 Euro per day Pool: very well-kept with lots of possibilities to lie down In short: good four star hotel, the ideal for a variety of excursions is! Actually a beautiful golfhotel with two good 18-hole-installations. But unfortunately flawed service, for example waiting time for a free table in the restaurant, 5 hours loud music speaker sounds a final party a group of golfer - and no response to complaints. read more

Hotel in a peaceful location, rooms could somewhat bigger, (but for 2 weeks acceptable ) cleanliness good. Good food and rich ( we had the half board). Staff friendly. Pool area has very lots of space ( in the off season). read more

The hotel is in a hill built. So there was only the floor 3-6. On the 3rd floor is the underground car park under the hotel. On the 4th floor the dining room, the spa area, the terrace, bars and the pool area. On the 5th floor is the front desk, a small shop and the rooms. On the 6th floor are only room. The hotel and the park ( garden) are top maintained. read more

    Our room was very nice. We had a large built-in cupboard with bureau for the clothes. There was a safe. ( this could be for 1 Euro per day rent ) furthermore a double bed, 2 armchair and a table, a dresser with a mirror and stools, a tv, a telephone, air conditioning and a mini bar ( small fridge). The bathroom was pleasantly large. There was a big washbasin, a bidet, a toilet, a bath tub and a hair dryer. We had actually lateral view of the sea booked. There our room on arrival not finished yet was, we were a better room with a direct view of the sea without an extra charge given. We were in the room 6074 On the 6th floor. The view from the balcony was super nice. We booked directly on the pool area, afterwards on the river and beyond on the sea future. Wonderful! The balcony was very big and also had a table, 2 chairs and a wandhalter for towels or bathing suits.

    There is the main restaurant El Olivo where the breakfast and dinner buffet offered. You can also on the terrace sit. Breakfast was always from: 8 until o'clock and at the weekend even Until: o'clock. Dinner there were from to o'clock. Both buffet leave in our opinion nothing to be desired. For breakfast there were everything that you can imagine: eggs in different variations, bread, rolls, muesli, fruit, quark, cereals, cheese, sausage, nutella, crepes, toast, sausage, bacon and so on one could between coffee and different types of tea choose. At the weekend there was also sparkling wine. Apart from that always freshly squeezed orange juice. Even the milk there was whole milk, cents and laktosefreier milk. During dinner there were always 2 soups to choose from, a large salad buffet, hot buffet, show cooking ( direct preparation of meat and fish) and a dessert buffet with fruit, ice, cakes and pudding. Thursday is gala dinner. Then in addition grilled. Furthermore there is also a bar, where the evening entertainment take place and where you cocktails on the terrace drink. Lunch until o'clock there was a pool bar. Where you can get a snack at lunch.     The staff were very friendly. At the front desk had the staff Appropriate tag, so that you can see, what languages they speak. There were also some good, fluent German. In the restaurant languages the waiters only English and spanish. It wasn't a problem however with being understood regarding the getränkewunsches. You never get the feeling, that the staff on the tip lurks. All are very friendly and very hard every Request to fulfill.

    There was a kids club, a playground and a shallow pool. Over the entertainment for kids and care I can't say, since I the only on the edge heard. Furthermore there are 2 pools. In a there was a small slide. Furthermore there was a jacuzzi. There are the pools and in the garden Plenty of loungers, sun screens and cushions. ( these are free of charge ) the garden is in terraces laid out, so that the loungers on different levels and by hedges are separated. From o'clock the first people at the pool. Before one sees no there. No matter what time one comes, you can always get a chair, since these are very abundant are. There is every day another animation offer.     The town el rompido was a small fishing village. From Faro airport we are %%leaveblank,5 hours on the highway with our rental car after el romido dangers. Approximately 200 meters from the hotel there is a supermarket, a few small clothing stores, a snack bar and a pub. If you repair. About 1 kilometer then you are in the town center. There is the port and there are some restaurants, bars, ice cream and small shops. El rompido is situated on the river. Behind is a headland and beyond the sea. To the sea comes one only with a boat.

For a hotel by the beach searches, is this hotel very recommendable! We would certainly again return! Animation and evening agenda in the hotel were in September quite pleasant. Cleaning of the rooms in the hotel we found very poor. Advertised Herb garden was not available and the use of Trockenkräutern inappropriate for a four-star hotel. Breakfast buffet: variety unfortunately not available. Dinner buffet: food has exactly after a week repeatedly; selection varied than in the morning Food quality altogether: could have been much better for a four-star hotel in Spain. Sporting activities varied and good- Selbstinformation everything is, no information in the room. Pleasant guest structure: 80% Spanish, 15% Germans, rest was mixed. Foreign languages skills: English very well, German partly. Good. Price for safe: 1 Euro per ... day. Price for beer respectively 0.5 liter. Water ever 2,50 Euro Supermarket around the corner. Rental car very sensible-so the coasts and not touristic hinterland from Spain and Portugal great explore. We have in Germany on the TUI booked. read more

Drinks the relatively moderate price ( glass beer 2,50 Euro, glass of wine 3,20 Euro). Good bread, beautiful desserts. Fruit unwashed offered. Atmosphere inside mostly a bit hectic, romantic on the terrace under palm trees and with a view of the nearby lighthouse.

    Very friendly staff. Few staff knowledge of German available. English rudimentary. Several waiter were french-speaking. Cleaning of the rooms well, even if the many ants ( even in the bathroom) were irritating. Complaints was to remedy sought. Totally incompetent receptionist at night the departure, the remaining bus referred, although this for half an hour in total darkness at the foot of the hotelhügels the last transfergäste (us!) waited.

    Island with a small ferry within 15 minutes easy and free 1 time a day to reach. There kilometer-long atlantic ocean beach. Shops in the fishing village and in the small supermarket the best, drinks and chill out in lots of small pub in next proximity with a magnificent view of the Marina possible. Private vehicle for trips to Portugal or Sevilla recommended, apart from that very secluded region. The best suitable for the chill out, swim, sunbathe or hiking.

Well maintained four star hotel the Fuerte group in rompido. Enough big room. Very good and varied catering ( buffet) for breakfast and dinner. In the week too many German tourists, at the weekend Spanish. Free Wi-Fi. Free transfer to the lying off Island with a great beach. Shops ( small shops and tidy assorted supermarket within walking distance behind the hotel. Evening entertainment in the bar. Bike rent. Small kiosk in the hotel. Multi-lingual front desk. Exceptionally friendly. Room with a view of a adjoining golf course. Very quiet. Sufficient free parking. Fuerte rompido is the good standard the ... Fuerte group! read more

A very clean hotel, very child-friendly, the rooms were although not very big however therefor very nicely furnished, and it was lots of spaniards with children ( the hotel is locals very busy). read more

    The double room with extra bed were some, however therefor very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The furnishings was very good but the hair dryer resembled a vacuum cleaner. The rooms were very clean and still relatively new. We had lateral view of the sea and a view of the garden, where it is very quiet.

    This hotel has a excellent cuisine where you find something for every taste. Both in the morning, as well as evenings there were buffet. There was also a corner, where children even the food could. The selection at the breakfast buffet was large but not very varied. The buffet in the evening against was very diverse. The kitchen offered regional, as well as international products. The prices for the drinks were cheap.

    The waiters was very friendly and accommodating but most spoke only spanish. She fulfilled you every wish. At the front desk they speak perfect German which was very pleased. The cleaning of the rooms was also very good. I have already mentioned but this is a very hotel that is friendly with children. The child care although we didn't use it but it seemed as the kids lots of fun.

    The entertainment was very good and there were daily changing leisure offers offers. There was a free internet access. The pool was really clean and the umbrella, loungers and showers were free. There was a pool supervision.

    The location is very quiet and to the beach it is a 5-minute boat ride and 10 minutes to go, however therefor is the beach nature. The shopping facilities are 2 minutes on foot away. To to the airport Faro it was about an hour and a half by car.

A very nice and tidy hotel, staff are very friendly, food more than enough and keep going with change. There was even a evening sushi and live music. Furthermore is the fish very recommendable. The hotel is furthermore very suitable for families. Several persons have at the front desk speak German. read more

We were end of August with two 17-year-old Young women in this hotel. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. There was also partly German speaking front desk employee. How can we have nothing to complain about. The weather was excellent and the varied evening agenda well chosen. We will definitely go again. read more

My boyfriend (25) and I (27) found the hotel great. Two points of criticism: the safe cost per day 1 Euro additionally and the wellness area ( that means sauna) ( if you don't extra booked ) cost one hour 19 Euro. Completely exaggerated this price, but US this was no matter, since we every day beautiful weather and much at the beach and at the pool anyway. read more

The hotel is really nice. The food is good, but there are a lot, a lot of fish. The beach on the 'Flecha' is great. Small drawback for US were the mattresses. have not slept very well. But that is just a personal feeling accessible. read more
