The hotel is located 5 minutes on foot from the main railway station Termini away. Output Plaza di quinquecento and then keep right. Just behind the building had dello sport. Staff extremely friendly. Romantic innehofgarten. Rooms are quite small, but the bathroom is rather large. For italian standards also a respectable breakfast. Good recommendation for a 3 star hotel. read more

A well-maintained hotel with friendly staff, at the front desk fluently speak german. Here you can get advice, as you with public transportation on his goal.
Generally the hotel is because of its proximity to main railway station (station Termini, circa 5-10 minutes on foot) good for excursions to the usual attractions suitable. With public transportation one needs about 10 minutes in the historic part.
Our room was a bit small, but clean and functional. In the beautiful garden with orange trees you can in the summer sure very nice sit. The breakfast was okay and for a few days ... also variedly enough, only the coffee from the machines we found inedible. Luckily but there a selection of teas.
For a city trip really recommendable. read more

Great location, in the immediate area z. station Termini. Quiet in a side street. Beautiful, romantic courtyard meter mediterranean plants and bananas, in the you a drink or a coffee or Cappuccino drink. Rooms small, but for a city break more than adequate. The man at the reception was very friendly, helpful, and spoke perfect german. Everything very clean. Breakfast buffet every day right, but good choice and for three stars absolutely okay. read more

Good middle class hotel with comfortable ambience, beautiful mediterranean garden, very friendly and helpful front desk employees. The rooms are although not too big, but you can in the beds excellent sleep. The breakfast is sufficient, the coffee could be better. The easy access to the center is through the nearby stop independenza and the train station Termini given. The area of the train station however makes evenings not safe impression. Altogether we have in the hotel felt very comfortable and would come again. read more

The location very close of the train station Termini is perfect.
The convenient bus-airport transfer (8 Euro for the trip back and forth, in 45 minutes, terravision) stops on the right side of the main station, from there it is because only a couple more meters to the hotel.
The check in ran fast, very pleasant and on german.-o the complete staff in the hotel always very friendly, greeted, smiled and was very attentive!
All areas were very clean and tidy. Everything was very harmonious the furnishing, the atmosphere. Who wants to spend their time in a city such ... as Rome in a hochgezimmerten, always the same looking hotel chain stay?-o
Our room was on the 3. floor to the street. It was enough room, there was a closet, save and flat screen tv. Nothing was broken, the windows were close and the heater worked. The bathroom was really clean.
Wi-fi was the whole stay included, since we on the side of the hotel booked. Worked, except for a few 'rauswürfe' also good.
The breakfast was ok, the selection of dishes typical of the country. With the drinks i here however a huge downside to give the coffee really is everything but good. We know these coffee machines already from Florence, Venedig and the Adria, it was not good, but he not at all. Tried on the first morning coffee and Cappuccino and the 2. morning on deficient and out a coffee concerned.
The service for breakfast was however again good. It was again and again refilled, newly arranged and cleaned.
The bags on the final day, after check-out wasn't a problem.
Basically the hotel is (despite weaknesses in the coffee \u263a ) especially because of of the great staff and cheap location definitely recommendable! read more

Astoria garden hotel in Rome you could recommend with a clear conscience. The very good location (the Leonardo Express brings the traveller in 30 minutes from the airport fiumicino to the train station Termini and from there on foot 5 minutes to the hotel). Subway station and city coaches are also on Termini. The value for money is very good. In the immediate area there are restaurants in all price ranges. The staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful. The hotel an attractive and clean impression. The rooms are a bit small, however for two people (4 nights) enough. ... The bathroom was spacious and spotlessly clean. We have wonderful days in Rome and would come back any time in the astoria guards hotel %blank%. read more

We were very friendly and in german welcome. Our room nr.305 was auchreichend large with free safe in the closet and it was a small balcony with a view of the beautiful garden. The single room number 301 my mother-in-law was against very small and direction street located. Since we in the morning always at 7 o'clock had breakfast, we were almost always the only. The offer for breakfast has already been described several times, all very sweet and the choice is rather small. We stayed 3 nights and it was ok for us, not more. But are the ... staff very friendly and give helpful tips to explore Rome. When we returned in the late afternoon in the bar coffee drank lionized a coworker of the basilica San Paolo, for him, it is one of the most beautiful churches in Rome. We accepted that the reason the 25 january evenings to visit. And as the fate probably so wanted, we did the pope live and paint. \u263a of course, that was the highlight of our rome journey. read more

We were with the hotel satisfied. One is in 5 minutes to the main station ( Termini). With the public everything easy to reach.
If you good on foot you can get to some of the sights walking.
Staff are very friendly. Room clean, a bit small especially the bath. It but it is enough, since we little in the room were.
At the breakfast you could work, unfortunately no fresh bread only milk rolls and the coffee was not enjoyable.
We definitely recommend the hotel, very close to the town, good access and clean. read more

The hotel lies for a city break to Rome great. The staff are very friendly and able and the whole hotel very clean and inviting. The value for money for bed and breakfast is in our opinion more than reasonable - what we at the home of travelers, which in other hotels had booked, it was confirmed. The hotel has a palm tree inner courtyard, what you definitely even for a quiet moment should use.
With our next Rome-trip we book this hotel definitely again! read more

The hotel has by close proximity to train station a great location. Our room was extremely small, but it was at the rear of the courtyard respectively garden and therefore very quiet and somewhat quaint.
The staff were very friendly, German none could, but English all. The breakfast was for Italian standards OK.
The tv had no German program, but who needs that already in Rome? Only the messages we would have from time to time very gladly seen (and the dearest in German).
Our summary: we would book this hotel again, the value for money is fine. read more

Beautiful garden, room at the garden have tiles instead of carpet ( very recommendable). Breakfast very Italian, consists mainly of Spüßspeisen ( for example Tiramisu), which is really delicious are. If you like hearty breakfast, comes rather too short (no bread or toast, but muesli is available). Coffee is for Italy a shame. It is one of the best in one of the surrounding bars, where one for 80 cents a espresso Al bar drink. Breakfast at five o'clock in the morning for the return trip wasn't a problem. A bit noisy at night. Very central, good area (despite main ... station)! read more

We had a double room booked, the room number 120 in the garden has merely a bedlight, only one bedside table, the luggage could not be turned off, it was a window of about 0.50 times 1 meter in the corner of the room available, absolutely no double room.

The breakfast was in principle sufficient, eggs were as halves cooked eggs presented, the bread basket was limited, even soft bread once rather hard bread, cheese and sausage, respectively ham was ok. ...
It was dosenfruchtsalat offered, Cappuccino took some getting used to, juice from the machine.
Table linen very clean and well cared for.
With drawbacks the hotel is recommendable, the location is good. read more
