our reception was very warm as returning guests. euris the receptionist, recognized us immediately and gave us the feeling of family returnig home. the rooms were immacutely clean with fresh flowers decorating the bathroom and beds. the all inclusive services, especially the restaurants out did themselves in taste as well as decoration. although the guests were of mixed nationalitys, there was no stress, just relaxation pure. euris went the extra mile to make sure our stay was the most enjoyable vacation ever, even learnig german to make my wife even more comfortable. thanks again euris and we hope to see ... you next year in may 2014. read more

    the only complaint that we had in 15 days was that the freshly caught fish had too many bones in it. el capitano had the restaurant service team moving like a military team,anticipating the needs of the guests before the guest themselves. to show appreciation for such attention and very good service, i gave the team and several individuals tips ranging from 5 dollars . they appreciate it well and double their efforts to please the guests.

    from the receptionist euris to el capitano, the chef of the restaurants and everyone in between, they were all very friendly and went out of their way to please not only me but all of the guests. for example,the lightbulb blew in the bathroom. before i returned to the room it was already changed and a written apology from the roomkeeping team. all services that are in the hotel description are available

    last year i twisted my knee playing baseball the national sport in rd. this year i just watched the sport activities. the disco was very good with good mix of dj tunes and requests from the guests. the internet is available at a low price with hotspots all over the hotel .the groundkeepers are the unsung hereoes of grand paradise samana. early riser that i am , i was surprised that the beach team was already hard at work getting the beach clean from the nights tide. not one leaf was on the grounds after 1000hr. and everyone had time for a friendly hola!

    our room had seaview direct from our bed. from the room to the beach was a beautiful 3 minute walk. to the next village las galeras, is only a 10 minute walk along the beach. the hotel has excursions to every possible location with reasonable prices especially the whale watching. all buse and transport ation are with air conditiong. the transfer from santo doming was short fast and safe.

For 8 years now, we have been spending every year 4 weeks’ vacation at Grand Paradise Samana. It is always with the same satisfaction that we enjoy the place: great nature, nice surrounding, helpful management and staff team, relaxing and friendly atmosphere, well organized animation. We ‘d like to congratulate the great service of i.e. the general manager Heny, as well as Roberto, Samuel, Noris, Leocalina, Sandy Anisio, Youseepe, Maldonado, Wendy etc. (different members of the staff team). We are really looking forward to come back as often as possible in the years to come. read more

Hi there, the worst reviews over the hotel i can at all not understand. The complex is not the newest, but really top maintained, for the money what you paid for, you can't complain. The food was always fresh and warm there were enough selection, i have never had such a good buffet, the food is of the quality a lot better as in Germany, mosquitoes there were no ☺ and if you go there must you absolutely go on excursions ☺ we booked our trips at Marcel in las galeras sunshine holiday booked, were all great, cheaper than in ... the hotel and above all in small groups ☺ all in all it was a wonderful vacation had never thought the a vacation so can be nice, but unfortunately way too short. The best 14 days book ☺ and not Iberia or FTI. read more

Great hotel, in the middle in of nature on of the peninsula samana. No other hotels in the vicinity; only the small town las galeras. Transfer from Puerto Plata quite long (about 4 hours), but it is worthwhile really! read more

    Rooms were nice and big; also the beds. Here was a bed so large, like at home a double bed; thus you had to only one use. A tv was also in the room; but who needs this, if you in the Karibik awoke weather is... Minibar was daily with water, Cola and Sprite refilled. The bathroom is also nice and big, even with a bath!

    Food and drink were average; but you have always found something delicious and was also always full. There is a main restaurant and a beach restaurant. I can only say magnificent vacation and the advice. January until march whale observations to make, because it is just gorgeous! Also i can tell you Marcel very prompt, a german immigrants in the village/town las galeras (10 minutes walk from the hotel) its yellow cottage and on the you can book tours. A very competent and above all serious seller. He makes fair prices, has always german tourleitungen therewithin especially sells no crowded tours with 20-30 tourists on a bunch of. But shares his tours correct in small groups on, so that all tourists are happy. I have a ... total of 7 tours through him and will next year his cottage renewed storm ☺ Bacardi-island, los haitises, el limon and whale watching are a must! To the hotel: we had a bungalow which was clean and spacious was. The beach is clean and tidy. Recommendable beaches: el fronton, el rincon, Playa playita. An absolute dream! A tip still. Pays really only in pesos, not Dollar or euros, because otherwise could you really about the ripped off. Small flaw at the hotel. The hotel would like to 5 Dollar per day for a 2. room card, what for me personally already little bit of rip off and internet you should not use. Way too expensive and slow. Rather into town and used in the restaurants wi-fi or in the internet cafe. I will definitely next year whale season be back ☺ read more

A hotel, the ' is somewhat older'. Run-down, but still clean. The quality of the all inclusive is however the, what bothered us the most. But apparently that is standard. We are your own fault, we know indeed That all inclusive always its quirks. Who so more importance on quantity than quality sets, the sentence. But we would never stay in a massive all inclusive-facilities go. There is many nice small accommodation, The much more and certainly not cost more. read more

This was our second time at Grand Paradise Samana and what an amazing time it was. We stayed for two weeks with our 2 boys and we enjoyed every second. The staff were fantastic and made it that much more enjoyable. We made great friends, like Jessi who we knew from last time and is a fantastic person. She was great with our kids and always had a smile on her face. She sure made our vacation. It was great seeing Yousseff (who we also knew from last time) who is always there to help if you need anything. Thank ... you all for everything (Sabatta thanks for the CD.the boys listen to it every day) and thank you Luis for helping us with the stroller). Miss V thanks for being sooo good with the kids! Great holiday, you should definitely the village and the neighbouring beaches look at. We recommend fish in gris and Marc in the restaurant gris-gris in las galeras, affordable tours can one well in the village when the german serious offers. read more

This hotel is dreamlike in the paradisiac nature samanas integrated. No building of the hotel towering the palm trees garden and on the way to the restaurant you get always of snowcaps or nice smelling petals on the wayside accompanied. We were for the 3. time within 15 months here and it is simply pure Karibik vacation-dream. The period for christmas was a great experience. Everything was lovingly to the smallest detail and the christmas buffet has all the Krone fake. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and has all foreign languages skills. So no communication problems to be ... afraid. Because the hotel a private beach (bay) has, you can always surely relax. For the rooms goes big praise to the cleaning ladies, the always good job showed. In short it is worthwhile come here! We are definitely coming again. read more

    The rooms and the bungalows are very spacious. They all feature a mini bar, air conditioning (bungalow in addition with ceiling fan), save, new tvs, telephone, balcony or terrace. The bathrooms are very spacious and clean.

    There is a main restaurant and an à la carte restaurant. In the main restaurant there is a daily changing theme buffet, here is something for every taste. In the restaurant and bars there is a large selection of great drinks. It was always very clean and well presented. Also here the staff very friendly and don't expect tips. We find but you should still give something, they really earned and are huge about it!

    The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. You will always with a sincere smile! The quality of the beach of the staff is spanish, of course, but very many english and some even german. The room daily properly cleaned, the mini bar always filled and hand towels one received every day fresh.

    Beach and pools were very clean, there was everywhere enough sunbeds, one must therefore not already before breakfast with towels reserve. ☺ at the beach there are no sun screens, since the many palms enough shade for everyone is. Kiko-entertainment team offers daytime very unobtrusive and nice a varied sports program at. Evening inspire you with daily changing evening shows in which your entire acclaims can prove. You are super! After the shows you can either at a bar or in the hotel-own disco with local and international music go. Even if we no children there had we can confirm, that the kids club is great and the children there a lot of fun have. Before the evening show there is for the little ones a mini disco.

    The hotel is located in a very quiet area, directly at a beautiful, clean beach. In the next location las galeras, one runs about 10 minutes at the beach along. Here you can good smaller buy souvenirs and excursions with german would make book. An evening with Marc and gris gris in las galeras to delicious food you should definitely plan.

Large area in the middle of a tropical garden, palms to the sea, as protection from the sun serve. Fantastic beach, very friendly staff. The food unfortunately quite cold and nothing for gourmets, but it is at the buffet always something. Snorkeling, although only 100 meters and even from the beach from reachable only by boat and a round ringelreihen around the snorkel capacity, since provider monopoly has per snorkel course 10-€ requires. Couple times per week there were not so good food. For example american buffet, so only fast food. Staff are very friendly. Beach it was a bit unclean. Otherwise everything was good. Beautiful spot discovered, if you beach along goes. read more

We have been the 3. time here, i think this speaks for itself. However the hotel is now in need of renovation (plumbing) but it has now begun. The outside area is however a dream, palm trees without limits, mountains and turquoise sea. The bay is unique and far and wide no other hotel. At the beach 10 minutes to the left you are in the small town las galeras, with its shops, bars and so on there you are also met with the german emigrants Marcel and Diana(sunshine holidays), desk there again! We were 6. and we could the ... day design by yourself, so no massenabzocke and, of course, cheaper. One walks at the beach to the right, one comes through a palmenwald, of plantations by the klippengaststätte el capito, to visit! The food in the hotel is good and diverse (ice cream delicious) in november the hotel is never fully booked, so very quiet. Otherwise we canadians, americans, a few french and russians seen (is) but it was no negative. The evenings are worth seeing, this time were but a little too loud. As soon as you come in samana land and not only in Puerto Plata, we will be back here. read more

We visited Grand Paradise Samana Nov. 20 - Dec. 4. This resort was great!!! The staff were amazing! Yousseff was great fun, always smiling a nice man. We had a nice trip from the airport. Reception was very quick and very pleasant. The reception would give you room key, remote for the TV, and safe key$, Our bungalow was great. It was clean, plenty of room and a great location, #3124. The buffet had great variety, tasty hot food. The cold food was cold. Lovely desserts. Pork, beef, fish, chicken done differently every meal every day. If you wanted something ..., you would just ask and they would get it. They had bottled Coke, diet coke, sprite, Corona, bottled beer, brand name booze They had cappacino, espresso, all teas. Brand name cereals. Great breakfasts. The beach was beautiful. The pools were clean. On the weekends the locals would visit, it was a bit busier then. There was some seaweed and it was a bit murky, but Jan. Feb. it should be clear to the bottom. The disco was clean, & fun. The photographer was funny, he would bring a parrot, iguana, and monkeys to pose with you $. We got a great deal $875.00 each all inclusive for two weeks. You can't stay home for that. We LOVED IT We definitely go back. read more

Technical everything okay and if something didn't work was immediately repaired. The whole complex is in good condition and very clean neat. Only the beach chairs should partly repaired or replaced.     There are 3 restaurants and 4 bars, 2 bars at the beach and a bar at each of the pools. The diversity, as well as quality and quantity of the dishes including drinks Are great. The restaurants are very clean and recommendable run but we friendly boss Roberto noteworthy. Thanks to the always friendly chef tasted a the food even better. The service staff is very friendly and courteous but leocalina and Josef particularly to the heart are grown. The atmosphere is great which you like give a tip.

    The accommodation is either directly at the beach or maximum 5 minutes to the walk. The transfer time to the airport is almost 3,5 hours. The next place las galeras you can on foot at the beach walk along (approximately 5 to 10 minutes) where you can get nice native partly in english conversation. In the hotel and by the tour operator, as well as from private in town very nice excursions were offered.

    Friendliness to be very good all very trouble with german but with a little bit of spanish and english, everything worked... Complaints were taken serious and also taken care of... Especially in the restaurant leocalina, euris, David, Jose, Roberto but also all other were very hard and really friendly.

    Pool, beach, everything perfect, some beach chairs may be scrapped but there were enough for everyone that you also the best can take... The entertainment is very good, unfortunately, the funding are available very small, so were for example 3 arrows at the archery for 2 arches and 10 people, which of course not as you should remedy, as the boys really hard the people to converse. I would like to highlight especially cabatta, Frank, mikiki and yousseff, but i must say the yousseff very friendly and nice to all and think he is to the beach and not the towels we know it now 5 years and it is always consistent friendly to all.
