I was for the first time in grand paradise samana and am still really amazed from this great complex! The entire staff is very friendly and speak preferred spanish (clear what else ^ ^) and english. The beautiful beach is really fantastic, the food is tasty and the evening entertainment is really cool! Much praise goes to show dance crew from the grand paradise ☺ read more

For a beach vacation recommendable. But good pack up sun cream, no umbrellas at the beach. Only the palm trees protect. You always succeed.
Room large and clean. Furniture was not up-to-date anymore, there should be something to be done. Landladies always friendly. Safe in the room, costs but for 2 weeks 30 Dollar.
You can in the main restaurant food or restaurant by the beach, this is in the evening used for a seafood restaurant and an italian restaurant. We stayed at the italian, once not worth it. In hauptr. Every day another motto, but. There are only a ... few food different otherwise there are often always the same. But something you will always find.
Transfer from the airport Puerto Plata about 4 hours(with us) a slower driver needed at least almost an hour longer. But partly beautifully on the north coast along. Worth seeing.
Excursions could be in the hotel with the travel guide book or in the town of las galeras (10 minutes on foot). The place up has left, Augusto and further Marcel (emigrant from that). The travel cheaper at. Since one does not make anything wrong. Samana peninsula is very suitable.
We had the national park ' los haitises' i. Indicated katameran or speedboat. Then lunch on the Bacardi Insel 'cayo levantado '. Very nice 1 day trip.
As 2. trip we had a country and people tour. These are all with the same name but each runs elsewhere. But worth seeing.
In the hotel were about 60% canadians, the other french, czechs, germans and austrians. read more

It was a very beautiful trip. It's was like if I was with my family. Everybody was nice. The animation team and the show was a great pleasure for us. I had a good time dancing with Kaki ( good, good,dancer ) and the new girl, Delyanny new was very friendly, good on the stage, good with children ... I liked my trip a lot.

Beautiful surroundings in palm tree paradise samana!
However, you should expect, that this is a pure vacational club is. On your own the area to explore isn't recommendable and can a thoroughly to the doom will be. Have at check in once the room change must the toilet was broken and the mattresses not clean. The next room was then completely fine. The staff is friendly and seemed very welcoming which the welfare of their guests. Overall the hotel complex very clean and it was always make an effort flaws pö a pö to eliminate. The beach only has a ... small beach section (no broad and kilometerweiter beach such as in Punta Cana), but clean, extremely green because of many palm trees and above all untilled which was very pleased. Karibik pur!
Disturbing we found the loud music at the beach at the time of the animations (water aerobics, beach volleyball etc.) In our opinion a complete collapse of the beautiful scenery of nature (you are just trouble the tourists always have activities to keep), if you like it. The food was varied and on the whole good! Daily new theme nights with alternating international cuisine. Decor of the hotel generally already very worn, but the mattress in bed was new. Another few in this hotel the huge mirror almost on the head. Chairs at the beach and at the pool are 90 percent totally worn out-nothing for a sensitive back. A shame, because it would be enough chairs available. The entertainment team is great - not intrusive and always friendly and the evening entertainment was really great. One does not believe, that this is amateur!
Food was okay. Beach was 500 meters long, it urges however all on approximately 20 meters width in the water ..., since beside plenty of rocks, stones and seaweed-without bath shoes not recommendable. read more

For me the hotel is the perfect combination between relaxation, activities and entertainment and all this in a beautiful tropical nature. You can also beautiful walks or go on excursions (there should be one Marcel from sunshine holidays in las galeras to visit, the 6 years ago from Germany emigrated). The food was good, the room service was perfect, never has something missing, and everything in the room worked. The animation is perfect, an exceptionally great team. Especially the evenings are so professional and exciting, that one again and again looks forward. Especially great are Daniel (aspirina ), Olga and ... zapata. read more

We paid extra, have a bungalow with megabyte and were with this decision very satisfied. Also without the support of the travel agency work. We would have our vacation gladly extended but that with the support of the travel agency didn't work. A shame.
The complex has seen ist best days and has thereby preserves its charm. Excursions to the us very unpleasant experience ' waterfall on horses' only more at Marcel (center) booked. Thanks to several recommendations we have wonderful days (and evenings) with many nice people spent. Marcel took care of our food and beverages as well as ... our security with great fun. 5 suns for that. Greetings to Manuela, Marcel, Christine, franz, Gerd, Babette and. What is still one of your friend? Just at all. The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs, you can walk around and the bordering town is 5 minutes away. It is lots of space and an appropriate entertainment. The pool is a bit small, the sea very nice and warm. Nice climate. I after 2 weeks spoiling kitchen increased. Its i think not so good, a renewal would be possible.
We enjoyed this holiday really enjoyed even if at some places no real 4 stars hotel.

For 8 years now, we have been spending every year 4 weeks’ vacation at Grand Paradise Samana. It is always with the same satisfaction that we enjoy the place: great nature, nice surrounding, helpful management and staff team, relaxing and friendly atmosphere, well organized animation.
We ‘d like to congratulate the great service of i.e. the general manager Heny, as well as Roberto, Samuel, Noris, Leocalina, Sandy Anisio, Youseepe, Maldonado, Wendy etc. (different members of the staff team).
We are really looking forward to come back as often as possible in the years to come.

our reception was very warm as returning guests. euris the receptionist, recognized us immediately and gave us the feeling of family returnig home. the rooms were immacutely clean with fresh flowers decorating the bathroom and beds. the all inclusive services, especially the restaurants out did themselves in taste as well as decoration. although the guests were of mixed nationalitys, there was no stress, just relaxation pure. euris went the extra mile to make sure our stay was the most enjoyable vacation ever, even learnig german to make my wife even more comfortable. thanks again euris and we hope to see ... you next year in may 2014. read more

Good value for money. Unfortunately long journey of 4 hours and more to the hotel.
The beach is beautiful, the food good, the staff predominantly friendly, partly german speaking.
The complex is partly ageing - our rooms but were always clean.
From and to power outage and not enough warm water for showering. read more

We had a nice bungalow, unfortunately, we got for so much money a bit more expected. Were now already for the 8'. Time in the dom. Rep but the cleaning ladies and the amenities were not the best. Room if at all were in the evening at 17:30 clock cleaned. Food was regularly repeated. Quality nothing special for example no fresh yogurt, but in plastic cups.
Tip: everything in las galeras do. Excursions, shopping, etc. Goes there everything was very good not in the hotel stay. The people are all very friendly.
So rather 3 than 4 stars. Have ... already in better hotels stayed in. Food quality and variety not more than adequate. Were with its and were around satisfied with andriy our guide. Also rudy with its horses is very recommendable. read more

Great hotel, in the middle in of nature on of the peninsula samana. No other hotels in the vicinity; only the small town las galeras. Transfer from Puerto Plata quite long (about 4 hours), but it is worthwhile really! read more

Hi there, the worst reviews over the hotel i can at all not understand. The complex is not the newest, but really top maintained, for the money what you paid for, you can't complain. The food was always fresh and warm there were enough selection, i have never had such a good buffet, the food is of the quality a lot better as in Germany, mosquitoes there were no ☺ and if you go there must you absolutely go on excursions ☺ we booked our trips at Marcel in las galeras sunshine holiday booked, were all great, cheaper than in ... the hotel and above all in small groups ☺ all in all it was a wonderful vacation had never thought the a vacation so can be nice, but unfortunately way too short. The best 14 days book ☺ and not Iberia or FTI. read more

I can only say magnificent vacation and the advice. January until march whale observations to make, because it is just gorgeous! Also i can tell you Marcel very prompt, a german immigrants in the village/town las galeras (10 minutes walk from the hotel) its yellow cottage and on the you can book tours. A very competent and above all serious seller. He makes fair prices, has always german tourleitungen therewithin especially sells no crowded tours with 20-30 tourists on a bunch of. But shares his tours correct in small groups on, so that all tourists are happy. I have a ... total of 7 tours through him and will next year his cottage renewed storm ☺ Bacardi-island, los haitises, el limon and whale watching are a must! To the hotel: we had a bungalow which was clean and spacious was. The beach is clean and tidy. Recommendable beaches: el fronton, el rincon, Playa playita. An absolute dream! A tip still. Pays really only in pesos, not Dollar or euros, because otherwise could you really about the ripped off. Small flaw at the hotel. The hotel would like to 5 Dollar per day for a 2. room card, what for me personally already little bit of rip off and internet you should not use. Way too expensive and slow. Rather into town and used in the restaurants wi-fi or in the internet cafe. I will definitely next year whale season be back ☺ read more

A great and clean hotel with unbelievably beautiful beach... The beach is very spacious and is ideal for a walk to go. Especially in the evening you can beautiful sunsets... I am really enthusiastic about this hotel. The food was very tasty and varied and the employees are wonderful! You were served immediately they are always very friendly. Especially i would like to Daniel (entertainer/dancer) mention, the very adorable cares for the guests. Unfortunately went the 2 weeks way too quickly over =( read more

A hotel, the ' is somewhat older'. Run-down, but still clean.
The quality of the all inclusive is however the, what bothered us the most.
But apparently that is standard. We are your own fault, we know indeed
That all inclusive always its quirks. Who so more importance on quantity than quality sets, the sentence.
But we would never stay in a massive all inclusive-facilities go. There is many nice small accommodation,

Winter is as already long enough, why not in january beautify?! We fly jädes year out, it took a long time, but it is worth it. For me is grand paradise samana and town las galeras the only place on earth where i relax correctly and entschpannen can. One forgets immediately gewönlichen everyday life, is immediately on the holiday changed. Simple paradise! read more
