We had over bucher-travel budget room and had because of the relatively negative room ratings already terrible fears. Our budget room but it was in the price-performance -proportion great! It was of course not at the sea or with a view of the sea, but peacefully located nearby the hotel entrance, so the way for breakfast, dinner etc. Not far away. The room was also big enough with bed, sofa, closet and desk. Especially the bathroom was nice large and clean, even with two small windows for some fresh air. There was both a small corner shower, as well as a bath with a shower curtain. Completely fine, especially for the price. There was a mini bar and a free safe. Before each bungalow there were a small balcony/ terrace with places to sit.

Next to the main restaurant there was a main bar and a pool bar, as well as the tavern kriti by the pool and a further tavern at the beach. We booked half board. The breakfast was very adequate with a lot of choice and altogether delicious ( for example freshly prepared pancakes, different egg dishes, a large muesli buffet or bio-corner). The orange juice from the machines was unfortunately no that delicious, and freshly squeezed orange juice at the table very expensive. The dinner tasted good, but it was nothing special. There was a lot of selection and it should be something for everyone. Also as a vegetarian one was well looked after. The diversity left perhaps something else to wish for, it could be about every 2. Price without an extra charge a additional main course from the menu ( meat, fish or vegetarian) and nevertheless to buffet go. The menugerichte were especially delicious. Kitchen style was mixed, there were many greek dishes, but also German or Italian food. The dessert offer was fantastic. All a couple of days there were theme nights such as greek evening or hummerabend to a extra charge of 18 €per person, however not used these to have we. The beverage prices were relatively expensive, a big bottle of mineral water has 4,50 Euro cost. Regarding the atmosphere and the ambience was very good. Instead of half board however, you can as well only breakfast book and for dinner in one of the surrounding taverns go. In the tavern kriti by the pool we have delicious, although expensive, for lunch and the cocktails in of the pool bar are delicious.

The staff in the Alexander beach hotel has really its friendliness and good mood prominent. Not rarely have the waiters singing and was always a positive atmosphere. Almost all had good German language skills, apart from that you could communicate in English. The cleaning of the rooms was basically reasonable, it came however before that the soap and the toilet paper was not refilled. A short instruction at the front desk but sufficed, a short time later to cared. A doctor ( language: English) daily to the hotel, we once taken into account have. arztbehandlungen are abroad of course always expensive, but we were very friendly and skilled helped. One point of criticism gives it because of the lack of commitment in things animal welfare. We were in constant contact with the local animal protection organization, as on the hotel area many at katzenschnupfen was sick, almost blind cats lived. At the front desk we were on demand only the number of 80 kilometer away veterinarian into your hand pressed. Unfortunately is, that not more with the pub animal cooperates will, where other hotels for example with ' cat cafes' try to help.

The water is beautifully clear with little rocks, completely different as the otherwise typical pebble beaches of crete, we were thrilled! At the hotel's own fine sandy beach there is for the hotel guests free chairs and umbrellas, you should not too late on, if you have beautiful places should be given. But also the pools are right next to sea, here were furthermore always enough sunbeds free and the two pools were very nice and mostly empty. There was an entertainer, the for example water aerobics, Boule or beach volleyball offered, the animation was but very unobtrusive. Directly on the hotel's own beach there is the Alexander beach water sports such as jet skiing, parasailing, banana boat etc. , the prices were reasonable. Particularly the parasailing (60€ for two people, circa 20 minutes) was an absolute highlight! Access to the internet there was a point in a small area next to the reception with two computers, wi-fi there are furthermore in whole entrance area free of charge.

The hotel is in the style of a cretan village built and consists of numerous maximum two-story bungalows, which is on the large complex distribute. We booked half board, you can but also only breakfast book and for dinner in one of the surrounding taverns go. The hotel complex was always nice clean and tidy. From the guest structure there were many germans, but also English, french etc.

The hotel is situated right at the sea on the edge the small town Stalis ( beware: not Malia!). From the airport in Heraklion we are about 45 minutes on the bus dangers, to Malia it is 10 minutes on foot. In the immediate area you will find many taverns and cocktailsbars before. Also shops as small supermarkets or souvenir shops are plentiful available, so you evenings through the small village browsing or a cocktail at one of the cocktails- or beach bars to drink can. Especially liked a lot the cocktail bar 'beachcomber', where it evenings live music was. Excursions we have by bus in the capital Heraklion, as well as to the chrissi island ( Karibik-feeling!) made. The tour to the chrissi island we have however not in the hotel booked, but in a shop in the town center, where the prices for excursions far cheaper were (everything well folded).

We could at the start between two rooms choose. One was bigger, but darker and on the ground floor... We felt for the smaller, but brighter room plus great view decided. That was a seaside room on the 2nd floor. The view is wonderful ( definitely recommendable). As regards cleanliness and age the room was ok. So from the review I give for the room itself three stars, for the view 10 :-)

There are several restaurants and bars. Basically in the main restaurant ( with two outdoor terraces and wonderful view) eaten. Here there is the choice between menu and buffet. There is but also the possibility the dinner in another (public) restaurant drives. Here one receives a coupon of 10 €per person The food at the buffet is ok. Of course everything repeated within 2 weeks and some tasted more and other less, but the stark reviews I can't understand. What we covered found, were the drink prices in the evening and the extra cost for the evenings. During dinner you have to for a feast mealtime decide (18,15 until: o'clock or 20,15 until: o'clock) and also has a fixed table. Breakfast there are until: o'clock and afterwards a lagschläferfrühstück with a little less offer. Freshly squeezed orange juice costs 3,90 Euro. The typical sugary water ( the juices be called) are free of charge.

The service in this hotel is to be pointed out. Without exception all of the staff always have an ear to lend and try to fulfill every wish.

The beach is clean and the water great. Since it was a flat slope goes in, the small super and in the water play. Chairs and sunscreens are included ( also by the pool). There are several pools for both children and adults. A special shallow pool with water fountains, slide and playground there are also still. This is however far away from the action and is quite old and broken. The was not used by us. There is entertainment ( for us erfreuerlicherweise ) hardly. Water aerobics ( very good, content was always the same, but not only rumgeplansche ), beach volleyball and a few games.

The hotel is beautiful designed with many plants and because. There is a main building with front desk, main restaurant and bar, as well as spa area and mini-market. The rooms are in bungalow style, maximum of 2 floors. The hotel is altogether clean and tidy.

The hotel is situated right at the sea. In front of the hotel there are a lot of restaurants, bars and options for shopping ( supermarket, souvenir and jewelry stores). Here it is also cheaper than in the hotel. The hotel is also a good starting point for tours in central and east Kreta.

Our room and also the bathroom was very nice. Unfortunately nearby the kitchen and there was always the noise the refrigerator to hear, especially at night.

Breakfast offers everything which the heart (stomach) could desire. The dinner buffet is varied. Menu we only used once and were disappointed. Not recommendable.

The staff are friendly, without exception.

Evening agenda was very entertaining.

The nice hotel, the great beach and the friendly people make the vacation for erholungsparadies.

Not far from the airport, but far enough not by aircraft noise to be disturbed. The hotel complex is located at the beautiful sandy beach.

The room we really liked! We had a suite with a view of the sea, really very big was and very well furnished ( big double bed, air conditioning, 2 tvs, safe, couch, balcony, kettle with different tea and specialty coffees, bathroom and a separate toilet).

We booked half board and were very satisfied. There is an extensive breakfast buffet - even with bio-corner-the all the guests happy! Whether eggs, pancakes, fresh baked marmorkuchen, fruit, bread and rolls in various variants or varied muesli- and yogurts-it is everything abundant. Whose who want to, can freshly squeezed orange juice order, this is a small extra charge. During dinner there are two tischzeiten. These can one itself at arrival and gets its assigned table. Also here were the dishes normally very tasty, it could have been a little could have been more diverse, but this is negligible. Furthermore, there was wednesday a bbq evening (per person 18, -€ extra charge) and this is really very recommendable. There are several meat and fish grilled, there is a large buffet and you can sit on beautifully covered tables around the pool. Otherwise the evening from music- and dancing groups culturally plays and you can get a wonderful evening with the best greek food spend. Otherwise there is a Hummer-evening, we on saturday but not personally tested.

The staff's hospitality is really positive to point out! All hotel staff give themselves the largest trouble, the stay for their guests make it as pleasant as possible. Almost all speak good to very German/English also. Our room was pristine clean-always the best!

The pool area is beautiful! Comfortable echtholzliegen with thick cushions and feast installed sun screens make the day by the pool a very comfortable business. Also at the beach are chairs and sunscreens included, I thought that was a big plus! So spread out the guests on the pool and beach and you had to no chairs reserve, because there was always a free spot. Wireless internet in the lobby free of charge available. With the entertainment program ( under no circumstances disturbing) we did not and cannot say anything about.

The hotel is wonderful located, has a private sandy beach and a beautiful garden- and pool area. Although the complex is quite big, spread the guests very good beach or pool, so you never the feeling has, it would be crowded. The guests are beginning September a colorful mixture: families, couple, traveling alone - from young to old. We booked half board and were very satisfied.

The location of the hotel is really great: directly at the beach, it has almost everywhere a wonderful view of the sea. All purchase- and entertainment possibilities, the one wish itself could, are in the immediate vicinity, but it's not disturbing at all (by noise or similar). So everyone could decide, if he evenings in Malia want to be traveling, or better in the hotel bar and the waves enjoys. The transfer time from the airport fraud about 1 hour - it was absolutely great!

Rooms are good small but for sleeping good enough, bath could be more spacious the shower had size 60 times 60 centimeter standard is 80 times 80

The food is good however could the dinner sufficient very little choice and always the same food, am for 25 years no more than chef action but could in any case all of the food the offered without cookbook after-cook.

Very nice hotel very friendly staff clean rooms, merely the choices of the dinner are rather modest. No wohnklotz, but maximum two-story building.

Beach directly at the hotel shops directly in front of the hotel. Car rental I would not more in the hotel make, but directly in front of the hotel is cheaper.
