The kumul hotel really pleased us. Especially the peace and quiet, we have very much. It is in direct nearby a new, smaller hotel built, however while we were there you didn't notice anything got (in other words noise).
The hotel is very well-maintained and clean. The rooms are beautiful, large and superbly furnished. Every day is the room clean and the mini bar with two bottles of water refilled. The small towels every day, the towels two times a week changed, which we found enough.
We really liked the food. Personally I can't understand, if someone to criticism. Clear ... and you can food variety not with the for example Royal Dragon comparisons, however it was more than adequate and delicious. We have half board plus that means breakfast, dinner and drinks whole day long. The staff are very friendly and nice.
It is about 300 meters to the beach. We are often on foot to the beach gone, you can get there but also drive, which functions smoothly.
The beach is very nice and clean neat. The loungers are far apart, you will find at any time of the, that are vacant. The couple rock the banks are disturb not, the belong but just. OK, if someone so sensitive feet, can bathing shoe use we have however no used and the every day swimming and walking at the beach. The beach section, the kumul was heard at the cleanest held, and the range from the 2 kilometer. The peace and quiet at the beach was unique, nowhere in Turkey it was so quiet as the kumul.
We recovered great and would definitely recommend the hotel. read more

Because of the German language skills of the manager and in the field the front desk and a possible English communication of the restaurant manager are problem in this house without linguistic hurdles immediately
Solvable. Who peace need and want to relax is right at home here. For families with kids, the entertainment want, the hotel is not suitable.

A wonderful resort, where one in wonderful peace and very good facilities a relaxing time spend can. We enjoyed the extremely dedicated and very friendly and accommodating staff (for example borris Erkan), especially in the field of eating and drinking.
Unfortunate we thought but, that this very nice hotel structurally bad entertainment. In many places, we see rust, peeled facades, joints, the hervorsspringen. Also in the area the room and also in the restaurant not always thoroughly cleaned, some sticky and dirty. Internet and electronic service of the sinks worked despite repeated references in the very friendly reception to at ... the end not! This is not the responsibility of the staff. Such a great complex need good care. It would be a shame, if we in some years ago this wonderful facility would decline. read more

We were in afrodysias. Here is the cleaning of the rooms to complain about. So far guests in the Defne Dream and must say, that here the cleaning of the rooms was better. But this can and will, of course, from block to block be different.
Restaurant:
The preparation and presentation of the food could be better. Here you can of a 5 star hotel, which very high have expectations or had, expect more.
Beach
I can understand, so you the beach more than leaving them, but a bit more cleaning in relation to the stones between the chairs ... would be recommendable. Cleanliness the toilets leaves much to be desired.
We really enjoyed it (no animation, secluded from beaten path, what generosity by the pool and beach or the entire area). All this i know, if i am before with the reservation i vacation something should. Also us the distance to the next location didn't bother us, you could in the construction new street quite good. read more

A great hotel in the direct vicinity of the beach. Whom 300 meters on foot to far is a golf cart -shuttle bus available. Very varied buffet with freshly prepared courses both in the morning, as well as evenings.
A huge pool and a great, very quiet beach section. A very nice and good equipped spa area with expert staff and a offer, the all wishes covers.
Altogether a quiet hotel, in the luckily only three times the week evenings animation returns. This is however on a much higher level than in other hotels and thus for entertaining and not ... annoying to embarrassing.
Almost the complete staff spoke German and all understand it.
The rooms are comfortable decorated and spacious, otherwise with great bathrooms and all desired Extras. read more

In this hotel are 98% germans tourist. The kumul is the last in the row. Here you can a relaxed vacation spend. The hotel consists of a main building ( front desk), 2 side building ( conference center, pool, restaurant, bar, spa & kiosk) and the building with the rooms. The rooms are gigantic - 81 meters²-here are no wishes unfulfilled. Everything was very clean, new and beautiful. In all-inclusive is the mini bar daily with 2 water bottles weren't refilled. It was cleaned every day apart from thursday-the maids free.
To the sea one arrives on foot ( about ... 10 minutes) or if you don't want to walk, can with the golf car to the beach bring. This constantly drives from beach to the hotel back and forth. Sufficient and very far auseinanderliegende loungers with umbrellas are always available. The sandy beach with rocks laced. A beach bar is at the beach available. Here you can drinks get in all inclusive are inkludiert. All other drinks must here but also in the main bar be paid. Free of charge are for example only 2 alcoholic and 2 non-alcoholic cocktails. The meal times in the restaurant from 7-10 hours, 12:30-14 and from 19-21 hours. Who 2 minutes after this time, the it could happen, that all food has already gone. Here is very right on the time of day attention! At the beginning of the vacation one receives a table assigned, which one then in the morning and evenings sitting.
The fitness studio is great and was from the guests gladly anytime again visited.
With the Dolmuş all about 30 minutes directly in front of the hotel stops, you can take very good for gündogdu drive (1,00 Euro). Here you can very good shopping.
Next to the hotel is a new hotel built. From the construction noises but we never heard a thing! read more

Right next to the kumul is a further hotel built! It is in the summer 2014 in use go. At the time our vacation the basement built. On the only access road were constantly construction vehicles on the way, the dust, dirt and noise any.
Construction noises was almost to the beach to hear. This will, if the upper floors be established, certainly clear effect.
If you peace on vacation want, is this hotel for the next time not recommendable. read more

A very nice and recommendable hotel. Equipped with a lot of attention to detail. Staff attentive and friendly. The spa area gigantic. A fitness center, that deserved its name.. The beach clean and plenty of possibilities to walk, without the mass tourism be prevented from doing so. No guests from eastern bloc countries. read more

Dream vacation in Turkey!
We are now the 2 times in the kumul and it is simply nothing to complain about. The staff are contrary to other the opinions you have expressed very friendly and accommodating. And in every area. If you badly treated, should maybe once over the own way with people to worry about, free the proverb: as it in the forest in-calls.
The rooms are real luxury, the shower as big as full bathrooms in other hotels. The deluxe rooms approximately 88 meters² large, with extra dressing room area, wellness shower, extra bath with a toilet and ... bidet and large terrace.
The hygiene is excellent, the beach beautiful, all loungers in large distance from each other, no turmoil. The shuttle bus-service to the approximately 250 meters away beach the route the whole day back and forth, if you want. It is not through sand and rubble, but by a piece of dunes landscape.
The pool is oversized with tasteful loungers and umbrellas equipped, also in an appropriate distance to the neighbors.
The hotel is never crowded.
Furthermore great we found, that one a firm seat in the restaurant has. Since the stressige sra and herumgelaufe after tables away.
Also about the food there is nothing to complain about. The chefs make their work very good.
There is furthermore a fully equipped fitness studio and a great spa. Furthermore you can tennis, table tennis and squash.
There is in the immediate area no shops, but one drives for instance to Kumköy circa 10 minutes. Costs with the taxi 10 Euro ( sometimes only 5 Euro) and with the Dolmuş per person 1.50.
In front of the hotel are dredger, these were while we were there however never actively. So:no noise and no dirt.
We have stayed in many good five star hotels in the area of side, mainly in Kumköy, but the kumul is by far the best! We will definitely come back.
There is people, the on vacation gladly around the hour entertained, be, these are of course in the wrong place. Animation is just not happening!
We recommend the hotel with a clear conscience further. In this sense, kind regards at the two couple on the way back to the airport.

In october we were 2012 the 2. time in this hotel and have ourselves altogether again felt good.
We have the peace and quiet and generosity the hotel really enjoyed and we can relax well.
During our check-in we felt however somewhat at the inclusion in a youth hostel remember, this is better, this shall not apply to the service with the luggage to the room!
The service otherwise is super and very personally, here we would like to especially akif thanks for its attentive and friendly service, also thanks to Erkan, the amongst others around a nice place on ... the terrace tried ☺, but also otherwise with much warm to took care of us. Altogether super waiters and waitresses, well, there may be an exception.-)
Overall is this hotel very recommendable, if you're looking for peace and quiet and no value on searched was set.
We can really recommend this hotel, however, it is a great shame, that now in the immediate neighborhood still several hotels are being built. read more

Because of its location ( construction and schmutzwüste - 300 meters from the beach) you can wholeheartedly the relaxation dedicate. Around bauwüste with strong noise- and dust pollution. The hotel itself is very clean and spacious built. Deluxe suites (160 meters²) are really a dream! If, if the cleaning staff once look could. The promised wasserlieferungen per day remained and after complaint in the lobby you got the offer they own carry forward. 2 times change of towels in the week for a 5 star hotel are shabby! In addition the beach as with more dirt and rocks deal! The ... food was also very poor. The started sausage at the following days in various salads recovered. read more

The decision against all-inclusive was very deliberately and also very good. Breakfast, dinner, and a snack in the lunch for us absolutely sufficient.
The beach could be a bit better maintained. Other hotels remove also the stones at the beach and meersaum. I recommend the management as a view into the own brochure (is at the front desk from). read more

Complaint is unwanted staff not trained but partly tried hard. Cleanliness of the room leaves a lot to be desired but big. The beach and pool very nice very spacious if you are looking for some peace and quiet this is the right place for you and then the hotel is recommendable however, deluxe not to find in the spa bad value for money. Food was okay more not. Front desk unfriendly. read more
