Nice place, nice cottage, beautiful garden, in the colorful birds buzzing, friendly competent hosts, always with good tips on body-restaurants, excursions or medical assistance (as in our case). Even the bunny Impangele the way up, and for our children in the garden hidden eggs! The cottage was perfect for us-two bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, very nicely decorated in African style. Great breakfast on the terrace! A perfect stay! read more

The GH has some rooms and a cottage. To the rooms I cannot say anything, since we used the cottage had. Wi-Fi were free available provided! the GH, together with your operator we can heedlessly further-recommend! we have the cottage for next year reserved, which says it almost everything. read more

    The cottage was a little filthy, but nevertheless clean and eighth very on it. the cottage itself there are two Bedrooms, kitchen, bath and living room. The small terrace with the beautiful Overlooking Swellendam aligned.

    we had breakfast booked. The breakfast was on the terrace serves. It contained a rich and varied buffet and on request the obligatory eggs in all desired variations prepared.

    Amanda and David, the two operator, are extremely nice and helpful. Both, the wishes your guests to fulfill. Times two examples: normally no laundry available, as mentioned normally, we had our laundry on the next day clean back. Also ask, within the printer to Print can, was immediately fulfilled. In the office gave us David its printer available and short time later we thought our Mensa-tickets (small tip: in advance book online ) in the hands. On our 4 week round trip were Amanda and David the loosest and helpful host we had.

Excellent B &B with helpful hosts. They were able to recommend excellent restaurants and suggested a range of things for us to do. The accomodation was themed which was very novel, the Zebra room was fab, and not as daft as it sounds. The other 2 rooms were also of a high standard. read more

A super friendly guest house. Hosts Amanda and David have made the most of their traditional home with beautifully decorated themed rooms. The price is very reasonable and you'll find a warm welcome and a delicious breakfast. read more

We had a great time! Friendly staff! The rooms are spacious and well decorated! The view from the B&B is stunning and the staff suggested us lovely restaurants and things to do in the area. This B&B is a very good option! read more

The Guesthouse has three rooms which are clean and tidy - with love for the detail. We cannot understand the other review. It's all about expectation management - ours were met. Das Gästehaus von Amanda und Dave ist mit drei Zimmern eher klein und auch schon ein paar Jahre alt. Es ist aber sehr nett renoviert und mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Es ist ordentlich und sauber - Hier schon mal eine Anmerkung: Wir können die Bewertung der Vorgänger in keinem Punkt verstehen oder teilen. read more

    The room was fine and fitted to our needs (the house is a little bit older than the others where we have been), clean and tidy. The windows are single-glass but closed airtight. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber und ordentlich. Viel Liebe zum Detail und alles da was man braucht. Die Fenster sind zwar einfach verglast, schließen aber dicht. Es zieht nicht.

    Breakfast was great. Great eggs and even better 'stuff' like bacon, mushrooms etc. There is a guest fridge and coffee and tea in the rooms. Test the Breakfast on the great terasse with a great view. Der Frühstücksraum ist groß und sauber. Man kann bei schönem Wetter mit bester Aussicht auch auf der Terasse frühstücken. Die Eier waren lecker und das Drumherum (Bacon etc.) super zubereitet. Ein Kühlschrank steht für eigene Sachen bereit. Auf den Zimmer der übliche Kaffee- und Teewagen.

    Amanda and Dave do everything to make their guests happy - and we were happy with all the reservations in the restaurants and the Spa-Booking, the Tasting and travel tips and so on. And the pearl of the house 'Beauty' does the laundry. Great. Amanda und Dave geben sich allergrößte Mühe, ihre Gäste zufrieden zu stellen. Und das gelingt Ihnen. Sei es mit Restaurantreservierungen oder Buchungen für Massagen im örtlichen Spa. Das Frühstück ist eine Wucht. Die größte positive Überraschung war die farbige Beauty, die uns auch die Wäsche machte. Klasse.

    The Pool isn't a pool. It's only for own quenching. But you don't need the pool because Dave and Amanda have so many tips and hints and are do all neces. bookings and reservation. Test/Taste the Berry Farm :-) Der Pool ist zu klein um ihn als Pool zu bezeichnen. Aber Amanda und Dave warten mit so vielen Tips auf, dass man den Pool gar nicht braucht. Internetzugang bekommt man über Daves Büro for free. Wenn für die Freizeitgestaltung Buchungen notwendig werden, erledigen Dave und Amanda diese gerne.

    All Shops and Restaurants are nearby and walkable. Enough parking space available. Gibt es eine gute Lage in Swellendam? Eigentlich nicht. Aber alle Shops und Restaurants sind in Laufweite und das Haus liegt ruhig und mit genügend Parkmöglichkeiten.
