For hikers couples suitable. Is in the center of the town, therefore a little loud but due to the central location again is made. For children definitely not recommendable.
The furnishing of the rooms could be a bit better, it was missing for example the possibility a jacket hanging space. Space for a wardrobe would be enough defendendo. Small exposed flaws were immediately removed. The food could have been somewhat more diverse, but it was tasty. read more

We were very satisfied and we felt very good and would definitely stay book this hotel again. Also our daughter (one and a half), felt good. The only we want to critize or would propose is the the hotel management possibly times, we should be thinking about they include travertine or similar in the showers and tubs to make, since they fall otherwise at least for infants or possibly older people easy slip may. One star too much!
Large differences in individual areas. Cleanliness and food variety was good. On tv all german program! Friendliness and foreign languages skills leave to be desired. Renovation apparently not yet completed. Furniture in reception area, lounges and above all in the dining room totally worn and shabby. In the room no table with chair, bathroom furnishing and good condition. For everything must be paid extra (not a little ): safe, fridge, wi-fi. Entertainment-shows ok. Leisure facilities partly strong damaged (pool, table tennis); fitness room small but sweet.
Good proximity to loro park; also to the center only ... about 15 minutes walk. read more

The hotel is from the outside ok, the inside is but, although 2009 renovated, some faults available. Tattered couch and armchair in the entrance area, wrecked tiles, fahrstuhlanzeigen in upper areas broken. Toilets in the lower area not always clean, tiles not authorized.
Because the hotel probably was working, the tables many discontd were, where you but not to sit down, because one in Spain not a already occupied table ( dreimanntisch by a person occupied), it was longer waiting times. The staff were here also not always the most friendly.
The food same was okay, something for everyone. Over ... taste and quality debatable.
The brotecke was in relation to the square a joke. (2 meters time 0,8 meters) waiting time also here.
The staff were partly overburdened.
Taken the hotel was to 80% with seniors beyond 60. (many germans and english)
Due to the central location you can this hotel for a, the don't have high expectations, partially recommend, however four stars has this hotel in my opinion not. There are too many shortcomings.
Puerto de la Cruz is a altogether very nice city and because of their climatic location excellent.
I will stay here again, however probably into another hotel. read more

We were 6 weeks for seniors long-term vacation for christmas and new year's eve to test. H. and meter are in t-south.
Conclusion: long term? And no 4 stars.
For long-term, in the hotel too few variation and of the renovation you have the impression, that the investors the money went. ( mattresses, chairs in the hall, bar and dining room, also many chairs are in poor condition and too few.
For the hotel speaks good location and the value for money. The good, pleasant staff is zuloben.
The kitchen is plentiful and (depending on the chef) delicious, well seasoned ... and varied. read more

12 stöckiges hotel mostly with older guests ( lanzeitbucher /over winter), mostly german.
Elevator doors squeak and open depending on the floor/elevator not at the same level, partly. 'stufe' on 5 centimeter This the front desk reported, mechanic should come by; 'stage' but remained.
Main criticism: almost every night high-frequency pipes especially in of the lobby, but also before the elevators floors 6 and 10 clearly visible, also in the rooms single rooms x19 (119.219, 619, 1019.).

The hotel we have because of the very positive assessment of the reiseanbieters booked (newly renovated, very modern, good food.) And therefore unfortunately the previous reviews on this portal except 8. left. Unfortunately the food very dissapointed: much selection, but the quality the food was always bad: greasy meat, little peppered, zerkocht. But no 4 stars. We only had half board, all-inclusive for the food no fun. A lot of senior citizens in the hotel, on the whole certainly on this target cut.
The room was more than reasonable, the bathroom nice and spacious. However completely fresh renovated, it ... is not. Mini-balcony, but this is at the stadthotels sunday We were on the 9. floor with a view of Teide and the sea, the was great, with other rooms one looks on concrete.
As a starting point for many excursions the location of the hotel is good, for our rental car we always in the surrounding streets a parking space found.
The staff were always friendly. In the restaurant you had to but also often in the waiters wait, tables were not set, so that you had your table even had to set. Clearing away of dishes was always very fast. The dining room is quite large, volume accordingly, we found the constant noise disturbance by christmas music as disturbing, because it was very loud and ubiquitous.
We were only at the meal times and for sleeping in the hotel, and it was really reasonable. The location we liked it, not in zentrumstrubel, only 200 meters to the beautiful Playa de Jardin, schönester beach in puerto!

The front desk staff almost no fremdsprachenkenntnisse detectable, with the usual herablasssenden arrogance of the spanish.
in the dining room though wide choice, but on days always the same food. Everything is somehow cheap. On the tables for dinner cloth napkins, but for the most part. Unclean cutlery and cups.
The breakfast coffee practically inedible, because way too thin, coffee came from powder automat.
The room ok, a small tip for the cleaning lady worked wonders. read more

I was already very often in Puerto de la Cruz, but never in the hotel luabay. Because of the but partly bad reviews on this platform, i this vacation with very mixed feelings reported.
I have to say, i was pleasantly surprised.
The hotel has 12 floors and is correspondingly large, but inside not sunday
I had a spacious double room on the 9. floor with a fabulous view of the orotava valley and the tejde.
The balcony is quite small. It fit straight times a table and two chairs. But for me it was sufficient.
The staff were in ... all areas for me very friendly.
The food was varied. Meat and fish were in the evening always freshly grilled. I am although it is very picky in the food, but also for me was always something for everyone.

Minus :in the room no mirror (only in the bathroom), it is unique, but a perfectly unnecessary couch-waiter nothing special friendly - the food has us not at all good, for a 4 star hotel not sufficient - the safe costs 2,4 Euro per day.

The food in the luabay Tenerife hotel is truly disgusting. All frozen, nothing fresh, everyday the seed, swimming in cheap oil, pasta cooked for at least 20 minutes. After 2 days, my 3 year old son refused to eat anything from that restaurant.
the Hotel lacks a general manager and enough staff (e. gram only 4 employees available to prepare tables and serve drinks for appr. 500 guests). Staff is totally stressed but stays astonishingly calm, helpful and friendly.
Apart from that, the luabay is a friendly, clean spot in convenient location with a nice bar, good swimming pool, nice ... entertainment and everything a good vacation needs. read more

A good middle class hotel with a near location to the loro-park ( 15 minutes on foot). Contrary to the advertising of the hotel there was wi-fi but. But you have to pay. Uses there one but gladly the internet café 20 meters in the direction beach (as if that's not possible without, like us). For a quarter of the price. Very good bus connection in many regions, what the rental car saved. The offered travel of its were way too expensive offered. With a little initiative was the half price in almost same reisemöglichkeit distance. Interesting is a trip ... to the new observatory on Tenerife been. However therefor must be a group of 15 people reaching. ( that would be something for the gentlemen tour operator! New program! ) Rich breakfast and dinner buffet. Much fresh salad and hot appetizers rounded the really delicious main courses and the ingenious dessertprogramm to complete satisfaction from. If the background noise (cutlery improve etc.) For the food in such a large hotel is not so loud and through targeted measures better in the, we would probably no other hotel choose.
Then it would be real 4 international stars. Already the kitchen it totally deserves! Chapeau! read more

Unfortunately i can't recommend the hotel. Price and performance is simply right not match! My single room was unfortunately without balcony, although the from the description i reiseanbieters these not is. On demand to me only communicated, that all single rooms without a balcony are. The bed unfortunately prolific creaked, so sleep was not really possible. The room was but otherwise clean and the bathroom almost large and the room itself.
Particularly frustrated me the not very helpful staff. A pool chair from the shaded pool on the almost empty deck to get me 45 minutes and find out what ... despite my food allergy food at least as long. There is no joy the front desk only something to ask! read more

Here everything is be paid separately, even for the fridge 2,40 Euro per day, safety deposit box 2,40 Euro per day, wi-fi €4 per hour (minimum).. In the room neither chair nor table, no large mirror, no desk, just a bed and a sofa. read more

The hotel has 332 room 1 bar, 1 restaurant (buffet). One could reserve with breakfast, half board and all inclusive. There are 2 pool, one of them for children. On foot it is only a few minutes to the beach or to the center.
The guests mostly came from England, Germany, Spain (in smaller number). The average age lag as in this time mostly with about 65 years. The safe cost with us about 2.50 on the day. Internet 4 Euro per hour, which in our view is a little expensive. Drinks are but the price alright.
In the ... evening you can also very nice nor sit outside or in the lobby where it very nice seating and for our stay also always a place was available. read more

In general very nice hotel but in the corners you should not see ceilings in the rooms by water stains extremely dirty, in the hall, the new spot immediately.
Cleaning in the room only superficially the makeup mirror was from one side only cleaned.
Towels fist size holes, bath tub complete renovation-paintwork.
