Hotel was quite old and in need of renewal. Water pressure in shower a frustrating, constant battle. Beach area was dirty and unattractive. Staff friendliness and competence was either hit or miss. read more

This hotel has one of the most exotic gardens in Karon Beach with great with a very beautiful and also exotic pool area!
The rooms are pleasant with Thai-style furnishings. We had a room with sea and garden view , I recommend a high floor. Restaurants are nice, clean, breakfast is great with a large selection of food.
I think this resort is one of the best in Karon Beach and I would recommend it to all who want to experience good Thai atmosphere! read more

We weren't there for the last time. Simply super!
The hotel, the area, etc... Just great. Only with overnight accomodation/breakfast and then in the evening outside food. The selection of bars and restaurants is very good. For every taste is something for everyone and for every budget \u263a

We were 4. and were at the front desk directly surprised, if we upgraded to a villa directly opposite the beach got! Double bedroom, 2 bathroom, nice balcony and its own small pool etc. Really fantastic! Otherwise the hotel lies very good. One is super fast at the beach, in the many restaurants, shops, or tuk tuk. Breakfast was very varied and united the european with the typical asian breakfast. Spa and restaurant we didn't use, the the prices in comparison to the other prices but very expensive were.
The only drawback on karon beach was the rather sparse nightlife ... and on the beach was really almost only russians!
Otherwise a super ending our Thailand trip after a couple of days Bangkok and a round trip! read more

I am absolutely loved it! We had a villa with a private pool on the terrace and the room was very well-kept and big. The complex is very green, and well maintained. There are three pools the but we never used it since the sea is beautiful!
We had booked room/breakfast and i believe something else is not at all possible.
As it was rainy season, was, it had not lots of guests. Of which were however mostly families or couples. It is therefore a calm atmosphere, very relaxing, no parties. The majority of the guests were english speaking guests ... (australians, americans) or asians. There were only few european guests.
The complex is quite large, therefore one runs already a few meters from the main house to the beach. Definitely not suitable for wheelchair.
The spa area is beautiful and has a soothing atmosphere. I gave me a thai massage, but there are many different offers. read more

After a visit by several southeast asian countries, we enjoyed a week relaxation in this resort. The lobby/reception area is very impressive and large. We were with thai hospitality received and received quickly our room. Unfortunately there was only a room with two separate beds available, we had to accept it. Our room was the spacious resort and our expectations. We had a seat in front of the room, the we didn't use it, since many hotel guests in the middle of The breakfast was very rich and offered sitzwahl inside or outside. The various restaurant offered many delights, but ... at another price level than the local restaurants outside of the resorts. Would go back in Mövenpick go. read more

We were the second time guests in the Mövenpick Resort and will definitely go back there vacation make.
The park is very big and very clean. The same goes for the pools and restaurants.
The food in the hotel-restaurants was excellent. The staff were always friendly and helpful.
The rooms are well equipped. On our second trip we had a 'deluxe garden villa' and it in future do. The villas are slightly larger than a normal room and are not together grown.
The terrace the villa is big, with terrace and with view to the garden and pool.
The villas ... are a off the beaten track from the main hotel and this means that in and around the villas is very quiet. read more

Large well-kept complex, in which you can lose your way. 3 pools, diving school, a spa. Arcade and fitness center are available.
The gartenvilla we had expected more: small terrace with only one beach chair and the 'garden' we behind the villa had.
Great service and brilliant breakfast buffet!
Guest structure: too many russian, many families with children. read more

Most of it is already said - the hotel is recommendable. Very clean, friendly staff ( front desk more reserved ), beautiful pools, great garden, 2 times a day room service (daily change of bedlinen possible), very substantial and delicious breakfast with fresh coffee from vending machines, but unfortunately without freshly squeezed juices. In the dry season you can outside breakfast. Good location to restaurants and options for shopping; main building a long way from the beach away, however pleasant Through the (night beautifully illuminated ) complex. By the location very quiet. At the busy beach road during the day ... the zebra crossing traffic control by employee with flag. Large guests Mix of Europeans, in particular, North and East Europeans, Asians, but hardly problems ( not with the East Europeans/ Russians).
Negative in short: very expensive, particularly Villas in the garden, in the main building also rooms with (double -) doors to the neighboring rooms: very noisy at night, especially if ( kurzzeitreisende ) Asians as young Chinese the adjoining room inhabit. In the main building light in the bathroom very bad, especially for the shave or Rouge. Shower = bath tub with curtain. Wood Parts in the room, especially in the bathroom, a bit angeriffen. Room service gives the room sometimes only in the afternoon on. Safe not insured! 4. 5 stars are appropriate! read more

We stayed here twice for one night for a stopover in this hotel. The hotel itself is extremely huge, several hundred rooms in the main building, as well as bungalows in the complex. From the main building to the public beach we had to about 10 minutes go.
A longer stay we would in karon not as us simply too much Action is. read more

The hotel offers everything you in a family holiday wishes: comfort, great pool, great beach.
Negative: the Mövenpick is no longer an insider's tip, but belongs more disappointingly in the tourism division. In the high season we were of the chinese new year as. The management should urgently of something around the cultural manners to improve. The chinese spit and blow one's nose in the pool, what we swiss and german found to be disgusting, especially if our kids in the pool swim.
Generally we in the whole time only two nice families (d and gigabyte ) with small children ... met, otherwise there are a lot of chinese and russians. read more

11 nights in a clean hotel, with very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet could have been more varied. The tables could also be covered with a tablecloth, more atmosphere of the breakfast.-) but all in all a great hotel for a great vacation. read more

Had long back and forth consideration, whether or not I would recommend this hotel, had many positive as well as critical reviews. For negative reviews it was noisy when you such a long-haul journey plans. The hotel is good and a brighter star in karon, apparently the best of the island's most prestigious hotel, no matter where you go, the hotel is well known, in patong you said: oh Movenpick! So great outstanding I didn't find it, but if you look at other accommodations, I think is the view to moevenpick to understand. Unfortunately I have to say, I liked ... the around not, the shops are dirty old and cheap and improvised, in the streets with opened Drainage in rats run around during the day. Odors by increasing the nose you think that, as regards N grime. Thai inside the country, sit on the curb and offer in an increasingly lastigen annoying tone at the Thai massage. But I should comment on the hotel and not the place on Phuket. Hotel rebuilt in good condition and kept up constantly, as well as the gardens with errors. Breakfast buffet has everything you could think of in different nationalities. On the beach-side, the hotel has several restaurants with extreme prices but good food Kundenpool 40% Russians (mostly refined), 30% Asians, Europeans 30% a few children, hardly any entertainment of Euro divers with three pools with sun loungers shuttle, one sees hardly reservations read more

We stayed at the September there. Three days it rained a little, but it was very warm and pleasant. We have rented for those visit us in a mini bus travel guide including driver for Baht 3,500 (= hundred euro), the US request to all locations on the island has led. The hotel is very good, clean and nice staff. Food outside of the hotel is sufficiently available. read more

Large resort just across the road from the beach. Rooms range from Hotel type rooms to independent villas, some with personal plunge pools. Scrumptious Buffet Breakfast was included in our deal. Guests ranged in nationality and age, and was great to see some elderly couples staying at the complex and enjoying the superb facilities.. read more
