We have our stay the bamboo house very much. The rooms were very clean and modernly furnished. The restaurant the bamboo house is one of the best in karon. The beach is also wonderful. Negatively, however, that you very much pay, if one times to patong /Kata want to drive (taxi/tuk-tuk). In addition unfortunately the tourists from Russia karon, Kata and pattong for itself discovered. For the price you can say it is not a bad hotel.
But there were a couple of things that bothered me:
Flying ants in the room, cleanliness in general could be better!
Lots of russians! Behavior accordingly. In karon are very lots of russians also at the beach.
To the beach i must say, that it was nice, but there are on phuket nicer smaller bays. If you wanted a tip need can call ☺. Size of the rooms was all right. The computer/tv was great with free internet access! Free water and tea in the room. Otherwise, a ... futon bed, small round table and bench. For those not on vacation the whole time in the room stop, more than adequate.

A small and fine hotel, which for a beach vacation totally sufficient. The hotel ( inside outdoor areas) is clean. Daily hallway-and cleaning of the rooms, which satisfaction carried out were.
The breakfast was daily freshly prepared, but we always a bit of a wait had. This time we used, the previous day to talk over. Had have fun. The staff were very nice and properly dressed.
There were German -, as well as Russian-speaking nationalities present, which didn't bother us. The age of 30? To older :-) everything present. read more

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Complaints bypass done. The breakfast is good and sufficient. The beds are took some getting used to. It is everything that you need. The lots of Russian guests fall in the hotel, as well as on the whole place negative. Everything ( restaurants, bars, supermarket) in the immediate area. Tuesday and saturday always is market at the temple. If you with the noise the Russians get along, this hotel is the right place. read more

We wanted to have a break in Thailand and came by chance on the bamboo in karon. Because this year we already had spent four weeks in Thailand and in karon are we friends we chose the bamboo pants. This was a great success because we were satisfied in every regard. The price-performance was fully in order. We can recommend this hotel and would use it again. Price/performance ratio is right over here. Modern and tastefully equipped.

In another Review I read, that the hotel hallway is not clean. That may be true, but therefor it is in the room spick and span and as we all know we sleep in the room and in the hallway. read more

As the conclusion part of our Asia put together we one week beach holiday in this hotel. The hotel is fantastic and it is very centrally located to the beach (3 minutes walk), as well as a variety of opportunities for shopping, as well as Bars and restaurants of the beautiful town karon. If you come with the activities small train Taxi in a few minutes to the go-getting Patong.
The service and the friendliness of the staff was fantastic, the rooms and the whole hotel was very tastefully equipped. A hundred % recommendation! read more

Quite decent little hotel. If you have a closer watch better than we thought. The rooms all relatively large, clean, modernly furnished ( flat screenTVs plus MAC computer with complimentary Wi-Fi), a glass wall between the room and the bathroom is, so that light comes into the bathroom. Great. Unfortunately it was missing a balcony. In the room there was only 1 stool, the second person or have to sit on the futon bed. This is very low to the floor, it was hard to get used to. The stairway to the rooms is quite sparse and drab and a ... bit dingy. Before all rooms are available any shoes of the guests, the hotel wanted us to pay on the wooden floor in the room with white Stoffpantoiletten is (in large 45). Very friendly staff. With English knowledge lacking a little, but if you just repeat what has been said hinhört and left several times, you got along. On our anniversary there was fruit, roses and a bed with rose petals decorated, very nice and lovingly made. The sink was with rose petals and water.
The Minibar is available to guests expressly to fill available. Great.
The breakfast is very poor. It is always something there, but only very slow refilled. The salad buffet consisted of a single bowl, something of everything comes in. It will be refilled, after a few minutes only lettuce with thick Strünken in the middle desired.
To all stay there is a vouchers for a free dinner for two (with double room). The tables were with material table covers and material napkins set, very nice designed. The menu you could choose, it was very tasty. Since it was so good we ate in the course of the week go back. Outside of the Thai restaurants it is much cheaper.
The breakfast buffet is next to the pool constructed. After eleven o'clock the buffet is eliminated, the pool chairs are constructed. Take a dip in the outdoor pool before so not really thrilling. You have until 7 o'clock no shower since there the wooden beach chairs were parked.
The street in front of the hotel is busy. Driving/took some getting used to, since each bit and mopeds parked roadside is, you then always had to walk on the street.
The beach could be reached (for two beach chairs and 1 umbrella you pay 200, -Baht/5, -€), you can only enjoy. If you are in the situation is, the motorboats and the jets turn on the beach gravel is not much to complain about. Great fine sand, the flat and slow moving in crystal-clear water. We have a number of hotels in karon beach and bamboo was the best in the price range! The bed (on the floor) was super comfortable, flair and was comfortable. Especially convenient was the tv including Internet and DVD player. At first there was a little musty smell, then we have a great smell lamp (every day at the Cleaning of the room) lit and I have to say that it has always great smell! The pool is small, but we were mostly alone there. The breakfast is okay, some dishes vary. The restaurant is relatively expensive. Kitchen somewhat, we ... must, to my taste for this price but not really necessary. To the beach it is about a five-minute walk, which I thought was okay. All-inclusive all, we felt very comfortable, the staff was super nice and uncomplicated! read more

The staircase looks like in construction, the pool is small, is located right in the breakfast area, only three chairs. A/c was broken. An absolute drawback is the location in the middle of the terrible place, ugly, noisy, drunks, neglected etc. read more

Small, very beautiful city hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff.
The only thing that bother me as a smoker, there was no balcony or something like that, so me to smoke in front of the hotel had to head.
It is about 300 meters away from the beach, this is however in a few minutes walk away. From time to time sometimes a beach traders past, but (mile au ' pun ' / 'Cape Cape pun Ka Cape' = No 'Thank You' / '(M) (wireless) Thank You'

The hotel's surrounding was good for shopping equipped! The staff are very friendly! The breakfast buffet is not so large but adequate, you can order various dishes for example, omelets, scrambled eggs and so on
the rooms are nice equipped with bamboo decor.
In every room there is Internet. The pool is small but adequate and clean.
To the sea it was only a few minutes walk, on the way to many shops. We booked excursions outside of the hotel, since this are more favorable.
Right next to the bamboo pants there is a massage studio with super friendly girls ... (okay. Massage)

We stayed five days in the hotel, before we went to Khao Lak.
The hotel is set back in the centre karon.
The name bamboo speaks for par, because the whole hotel is in bamboo style.
the rooms are big enough and very clean. Except the bathroom could have been a bit bigger. In every room there was a computer where you could forget about the tv free Internet access.
The way to the beach takes about five minutes.
The food in the hotel was very good. We got with our stay a dinner free of charge and it tasted ... quite good, we were more often in the restaurant. Breakfast could be a little more extensive, because it offered a variety of eggs and fruit not really much.
Otherwise the hotel unlimited highly recommend! read more

Small nice hotel in the middle of the village. We had room with breakfast and were very pleased. The staff was very friendly. Centrally located, bars, shopping possibilities right nearby.
