All in all it was a perfect holiday. It was our first time on Kos and would the Gaia Garden book here again! The service is brilliant, the staff very helpful and we really liked the food! Something for everyone and greek dishes were very tasty! In the evening at the bar we could the cocktails recommend! Great! The hotel is actually located not directly at the beach (about 5-minute walk ), however, that doesn't matter because the hotel totally peacefully located is. The garden is wonderful, you immediately feel at home! We will be back! read more

The hotel has our expectations fully met. For Greece it is really very nice and clean. We must 3 stars, of course, no luxury accommodator could do expect. However the value for money was very good. Very praise the lady at the reception, the not only all information immediately ready, but also still healthy in lots of different languages guests could help. The only fault: the food is matter of taste. But in Greece I recommend, out of the hotel and the taverns in the area to test. read more

For 3 time: a really great vacation and the 4 time again next year be there! One must approximately 800 meters to the beach walk, but that is described everything, therefore also here 6 stars and a small walk does not hurt anybody! All hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help - there are altogether nothing to moan about. If someone has said: 'a hotel for undemanding ', I think the already insulting and otherwise quite ridiculous! For a three-star hotel paid and 5-stars. Oh well, with the reflection have it some people not so! We felt here ... always in very good hands! It is ultimately also on each, what his vacation makes and there are always people, the always a hair in the soup find and even on vacation relaxed are! There are above average lots of regular guests - that alone is very informative! Thanks to the gaia garden team for a really beautiful vacation! read more

Great hotel in a beautiful laid out garden. One was welcomed friendly and all of the staff were always good mood and helpful, also to our small, everyone had in a fun in stock. The previous reviews to eat we could not understand. The buffet was very extensive, everything tasted good, there was greek and international dishes and if you didn't get full- no idea. The restaurant is on the first floor, if you on the terrace sits you have a beautiful view of the mountains from Kos. For kids there was a small playground and in the pool beach ... chairs always balls, partiular and airbeds around, our small water rat had a ball. We felt good overall! Recommendable are Kos (city) ( great old town) and the beaches direction kefalos. read more

We wanted to in October a little sunshine and were totally glad, that we for the Gaia Garden decided. The weather was top and we had a great vacation. The staff in the gaia simply superb, from the receptionist to the barkeeper. There is a informal mood, all are helpful and anxious, that the guests feel comfortable. The food was very good, there were many dishes available and there was something there for everyone. The small garden area is beautiful, also by the pool we were often. The beach is not right on the doorstep, however in 5 minutes on ... foot one had it also. In Kos (city) you can have a nice bummeln and shop. Dear gaia team, we will go again next year! read more

We were 2 weeks before end of the season and it was generally not a lot going on, can hotel and island but nevertheless only positive smile. We had a great relaxed vacation, the gaia team was totally warm, there was greek evenings, the food was very tasty and you a wide selection. We were by the pool, times at the beach, have but also excursions made, for example to the beaches direction kefalos, in the mountain village zia, strolling through the historic part. This hotel is 100% recommendable. read more

The complex of the hotel is beautiful, in a good location (if you not a problem with footpaths of 1a 2 kilometer has) and clean. Some rooms are not longer renovated and feature smaller faults. All inclusive means definitely not everything. Guests in the low season rather elderly people, but also a few younger, mainly couples. Mainly german tourists otherwise british and dutch. read more

    The room was clean and well-kept equipped. A mini bar was unfortunately not available. The bathtub was old and discolored. The water was lukewarm. From other guests i learned, that part the room recently renovated. The aforementioned smaller flaws apply not on.

    In the only restaurant there were a small selection at most dishes typical of the country. The selection would be reasonable, if you all could eat. Is peppered not at all or only very limited. In the evening the food was mostly a bit better than lunch. The vegetables in the salad bar was not in mundgerechte sliced. There was no selection of dressings, but only vinegar and oil and tsatsiki. Prepared salads were often mainly from 'pressed ham'. Kartoffelbeilagen swam always in fat, were never crispy. Buttergemüse from the package was totally overcooked. Furthermore, there were mushrooms from the can. Noodles were either with bite or felt chewed for is served. Poultry was 50% from fat and was never crispy, but always watery. Pork i did not eat, since the sight so disgusting was, that the appetite disappeared. The rice was dry and the fish was unenjoyable. Chicken nuggets should actually feasible, but were sticky (as forgotten chips). The desserts were all completely too sweet and with artificial flavourings prepared. Fruit was mostly reasonable, the apple in the lunch pack was but visible infested and the fruit in the obsttellern at the buffet again and again foul. Tasty were the tomatoes with cucumber, feta, onion and tsatsiki, in addition there were fries (after the salt very recommendable), however after a week would you like something either meal. The fuss and bother and cutlery was always clean. Also the restaurant made a clean and well-kept impression. The dirty plates were with a few exceptions were cleared quickly, but the table cloths almost always still damp. The glasses smelled very unpleasant, however only in the restaurant, not in the bar. The beverage selection is poor, there is a red and white wine, both rather brand kochwein. In addition there were beer and soft drinks. Juices (circa 20% fruchtgehalt) will only for breakfast offered. Between 14 and 19 o'clock gives it only a couple mushy cookies, no fruit, no snacks. Was good : the breakfast, well stocked with a range of hearty and sweet, only the dairy products not very recommendable.

    The staff were mostly friendly, always in a good mood and up for a joke. Basic knowledge of german and dutch in almost all cases available, all speak english. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis.

    The entertainment offer was limited, we were but also shortly before end of the season there. The pool is beautiful, clean and with airbeds, schwimmringen and wasserbällen equipped. The showers stayed in the pool area despite wärmeregler freezing and there was no possibilities change (the question is, whether in a plant of this size is really necessary). The nearby beach is clean, not very large, but perfectly adequate.

    The beach is just around the corner (about 500 metres) halfway is located a supermarket. Typical 'tourist shops' (beachwear shop, souvenirs amongst others) there are on the main street direction Kos (city). There, you could also great shopping go. To Kos (city) one runs about 20 minutes, by bike one is in zero comma nothing there. The historic part from Kos provides in the low season cocktails at dumping prices and is until the wee hours of the morning well visited. Excursions from the travel agency organized.

The complex of the hotel is super beautifully laid out. As I said the 4 was there speaks for itself. Rooms are enough. Eating and drinking excellent. Special thanks at the really nice staff at Karin at the front desk always helpful. Bar and service just great. As well as the nice cleaning ladies, gardener and caretaker must also not be forgotten. People the evenings your peace want, it can already times which become louder, since also times is celebrating. But unfortunately there is always people who are complaining about that, if people in your vacation just want to party. ... For families with small children I would rather another hotel recommend, since there was only a small playground is not more. Especially good I think it is a hotel without animation is, because there are too few hotels without animation and many want to no animation have. read more

Smaller hotel with beautiful well maintained garden area. A wonderful vacation we had in this hotel, there was simply everything. The complex is super nice, the rooms were good, the food tasted uS staff very friendly, especially sotiri we into the heart closed. We have nice guests met and many beautiful evenings spent together.     For us were the rooms more than enough. You have no extras, but standardly furnished and the rooms have either balcony or terrace. Cleanliness was also reasonable, there was always fresh towels and if something was missing, it was delievered.

    For breakfast there was a massive selection, bread, eggs, bacon, the usual cold cuts, pancakes, fruit, cakes... There everyone becomes full. Lunch we had mostly not in the hotel, because we often were out, dinner but it was always very tasty. It was the main courses not always greek specialties, but altogether was the food very good and next to salads there were always oliven, cheese and peppers!

    You feel in very good hands, there is informal mood. The staff are always very helpful, on arrival you will be very warmly welcomed and the bar staff are second to none, so that many evenings at the bar spent there. The cocktails are not in the all inclusive program, price but completely okay and in comparison to several bars in Kos (city) taste the cocktails in the hotel bar much better! For the food were the waiters always very speedy with the clearing of the table-ware.

    The hotel offers no animation at, nevertheless has many sports facilities. On the roof terrace there is a top equipped fitness area, you can table tennis, tennis, basketball, pool, in the pool you can water polo or water volleyball play. Here always people found the pool is beautifully laid out. One can have good and gladly also times a whole day spend here. Some male have greek evenings take place in the hotel bar.

Very quiet location, you can on foot to the beach, the next supermarket is also only 5 minutes away, to Kos (city) you can also have a walk make (about 20 minutes ), opposite of the hotel there is a bicycle- and moped rentals-short, central location and ideal starting point. At the beach the water is totally clearly and one has view of the port from Kos and the neighboring islands. On the beach promenade there are a lot of small restaurants, in which we often too lunch.

On the first glance the hotel appears to be appealing because of the pleasant size, the architectural style and the old gartenbestands. If you move closer, you can see now many faults, partly completely worn out furniture in the apartments, in the pool- and bar area. The plants have actually plastic flowers have crept in. The mattresses are unacceptable. Towels, linens and bedding can ma time lucky, somewhat newer to catch. The cleanliness of the rooms is moderate. Mosquito nets on the windows are missing partly, so that one under circumstances (i have to move in a different room experienced) ... morning completely bitten wakes up. read more

    No mini bar, no safety deposit box (at the front desk for 2,50 Euro per day for rent), telephone a lot of times, nice small terrace with a table and plastic chairs and a view of a beautiful garden area was ok. Shower head too high for my size of 1.65 and sprayed in every direction only not below. Not adjustable. Water was only a time hourly heated, so was hot water hit, which i personally but didn't care.     The staff were only once friendly, there can one not complain. Language was english and the rezeptionsistin? Spoke perfect german and dutch. Room cleaning left nothing to the imagination, except they gave first tip. No additional benefits, even a call to the travel agency because of problems has been calculated. Complaints were listened and i have the room can change in a quiet location, as it in the pool area and in the evening in the bar area very noisy could. The 'fitness facility' was in need of an overhaul, some of the equipment not be employed and the linens were nearly all broken.

    The hotel is located close to the beach lampi (a suburb of in Kos (city) skips). The beach is very stony into the water inside. Above the sand. Chairs for a fee, circa 4 Euro per person. Directly located tavern is ok. Shower and toilet ok. Kos (city) i would Arenal compare, only small. Otherwise the same kneipentrubel and billiglädenauflauf. Nothing for me, but if you like it... Nice tavern near to the hotel, in which you wonderful greek food, what i often did lack quality of the food in the hotel. Have with the mtb the area in the perimeter of circa 45 kilometer explored in the region and wonderful beaches found, the i daily visited have. The beaches in the area of Kos are the least attractive. Have my whole island viewed, the south. The was wonderful.

Was now the third time in Gaia Garden, was, as always a magnificent vacation. No matter wether food, cleanliness and friendliness, everything completely satisfactory! This hotel is too many for couples and clubs. The accommodation units are in small small house or rooms ( maximally 2-storied) arranged. The complex makes too many a clean impression. The guests come mostly from Germany, great britain, as well as the Netherlands. Nice mixture. We were to second time as guest at the Gaia garden. read more

Unfortunately mostly only lukewarm (if at all), but it is in Greece normal. At the pool bar there are the following drinks with 'all-in': beer, Ouzo, Brandy, red and white wine (alcoholic ), as well as water, Cola, Fanta, Sprite and coffee ( anti alcoholic.). Plenty of tasty cocktails the really reasonable price of 5 Euro.
