Absolutely not recommendable! Either the owners a ag (with lowest effort do the most profit) or the owner has the reality to the value lost. At a rate of 450 € a night i expected at least a bottle of water and free wlan! Both non-existent. The water with 8,70 Euro limited and 24 hours wlan gives it for 27 €. The rooms are outdated and in our off for part of the wallpaper. Freshly polished patent-leather shoes are zimmeraufenthalt fully zugefusselt. The view was through obsolete windows in the messy tranquil courtyard. The food in the basement was ... minimalisiert and tasted synchronously with each country. The aufzugswartezeiten are unacceptable and the way over the stairs very uncomfortable. Sliding or drehtürantriebe were non-existent. Conclusion an ageing hotel which with this price-service offer just the amazing location and the (still) existing reputation exists. We have already stayed in this hotel once before and had our first stay lucky to get a upgrade to a deluxe room to get, which really was the best!
This time we have very regular our booked standard double room. But these rooms just have to say, that you unfortunately at all not in a five star hotel are. Our room was small, dark and for this category very sparsely furnished. You wouldn't have known that you a five star hotel had booked, we could have the room rather in the three stars category put. Clean and tidy it ... was, but you can tell the rooms but the age.
A great shame, because the building has due to the great location really potential to improve. Because also the service was this time again wonderful, we were in all areas in any case friendly and accommodating treated.
Unfortunately there were at the check-in some delays, as our horrible conditon at a convention in the house took place and furthermore also some little congestion to arrived had. Therefore we have unfortunately also our room shortly before 16 o'clock received. But so what can happen.
Breakfast was even this time again reasonable, there is something for everyone and the view of Munich is certainly the ideal place for a relaxing start to the day with.
In short:

Top location in the city of Munich, short distances to everything, right in the middle of it all. We can say only positive thing about our stay at the Bayerischer Hof.
From the start we were treated to the end always friendly and competent staff and advice.
Highlight for us was that we also at check in unexpectedly upgraded on a Deluxe room have received, what us were delighted has.
Cosmopolitan style was in the room very spacious and modern furnished, had a sitting area and a large bathroom with rain shower and bathtub.

Due to its central location (in the heart of Munich, of road noise spared and only a few minutes walk from the centre shopping temples) we chose the Bayerischer Hof as a City Hotel for. We were pleased us on a unique luxurious weekend at the Bayerischer Hof in Munich. From luxury-in our price range-not the speech be. Our room was nothing special, the bathroom very small and in need of renovation, the price accordingly in any way.
