The jaz makadi star is perfect to chill out and relax and the spa is the icing on the cake. The pool area and facilities there are superb you don't need to go to the beach. Then just nip next door for a massage. read more

Five star for comfort, competence, good, service, cleanliness (housekeeping and grounds) and commitment! Spa area was also 100% ig recommended. We have in this hotel from the first moment felt good. Wishes and suggestions they can always been complied with. As well as at the reception, as well as in the restaurant one is at any time for all requests and to focussiert, the guests 100% ig eager to please. The excellent kitchen daily for any taste varied both for breakfast, as well as dinner on the buffet. Only fish we had personally a larger selection we could have hoped ... for. We booked half-board and for lunch you get both by the pool, as well as at the beach bar small freshly prepared tasty dishes. Emphasized should be the excellent, achtsame and attentive, but never! Intrusive service the complete staff both in the bar, restaurant and pool area. We are already looking forward to it again today on a reunion with Mustafa Sayed, muhamad salah and especially on abdel halim! read more

The 2 time was again everything great! The hotel and the spa area are for relaxing and chill out absolutely great! The staff are constantly concerned to fulfill every wish and all are really friendly. There is absolutely nothing to complain about and we are very happy, satisfied and relaxing back! The only mango is the beach. But it is not a problem for snorkelling the couple minutes to go! Both left, as well as right from the beach about minutes distance super nice reefs and then quickly back to paradise! Everything not a problem! The food is great and ... whoever complained, we are in Egypt, should cook! We will definitely be back soon and look forward already! Mea mea -100 and 100% nice and good! read more

The Jaz Makadi Star & Spa is a small, but fine hotel. The 155 rooms and 12 suites rooms are situated in separate buildings. In the main building there are front desk, lobby, lobby-bar, restaurant 'al warda' and gym. Here and there you can wear traces recognize, but works the hotel very clean and neat. The hotel offers all-inclusive and half board; we had booked all inclusive and therefore-next to all meals not alcoholic beverages, as well as national alcoholic beverages inclusive. Imported alcoholic beverages or wine in bottles do not fall in the all-inclusive offer. We have mostly german ... guests (about 90%) found. The jaz has numerous awards won, including the TUI hollys 2007, 2008 and 2009, the TUI environment, the honor as TUI eco resort, the hygiene silver award, as well as the holiday check award 2010 and 2011. read more

    Our double room had a sufficient size and was with air-conditioning, minibar, safe, telephone, kettle, hair dryer, makeup mirror, 2 chairs, a small table, tv, balcony with two beautiful seating attractively decorated. A tray with various teas, as well as instant coffee refilled daily, it is the mini bar daily with soft drinks refilled. The tv receives four german channels (ARD, ZDF, satellite, RTL) including teletext.

    Daily changing theme evenings (oriental, international, bbq, arabic, fish amongst others) certain the evening buffet. The dishes were partly freshly prepared, was apetizingly arranged and very tasty - a delight for the eyes and the palate. Small deficiency : not always all items were really hot. The restaurant is comfortably furnished; the guest has to all meals free table. Once per stay is alternatively a 3-course menu in the indian restaurant 'amaya' possible. Lunch offer different possibilities : in the main restaurant 'al warda', at of the pool bar 'Fayrouz' (salad, burgers, sandwiches, pizza) or ' negma' beach bar (salad, Hot Dog, sandwich).

The Makadi Bay was located in the entry lane at the airport, this us however not disturbed. In the Madinat are 9 other hotels in the 4-and 5-star category, a golf course and the shopping center 'Souk Makadi' with souvenir shops, bank, supermarket, pharmacy, bars, restaurants and disco 'la loca'. Twice daily a shuttle bus service to Hurghada for a fee offered. The JAZ Makadi located in 3. number ; the beach can be reached through the gardens adjoining hotel (about 300 meters). The whole beach of the madinats is in individual beach sections of the respective hotels divided. The ' negma beach bar' of the JAZ Makadi offers Drinks and snacks.

    A heated fresh water swimming pool, as well as a small children's swimming pool are available. Beach chairs, mats and towels are free available provided ; the towels may also to the beach to be taken. In the locker room even for sunscreen catered for. The fitness studio - equipped with treadmill and cardio machines-this time we didn't use it. The entertainment (water aerobics, -ball, Boccia, darts etc.) Was very decent, not pushy and was only few guests used it. In the evening we became with live music or Bauchtanz in of the lobby-bar chat. In addition to the entertainment program is amongst others the following was offered: fruit and gemüsedekoration, handtuchdekoration, napkins folding technique, cocktail mix, visit the hotel. Directly next to the JAZ Makadi the 'gold spa' an extensive spa with body scrubs, massages and other treatments. We have the cleopatra program and the hot stone massage enjoyed. Applications were good – however not cheap (more expensive than at home).

we had the most fantastic 9 days in this hotel. The staff made sure that we lacked for nothing. The food was excellent and varied. This is an ideal hotel to relax, unwind and enjoy your surroundings. We booked 2 sessions at the spa, used the local facilities and went snorkeling and quadbike driving. We could find nothing at all to complain about. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Actually everything is already said. We were last week. Large, well-furnished rooms (one is in Egypt - not in Germany! ). Great food; the chef is especially highlighted. Great management; mrs Andrea schäfferlein as manager is especially to be highlighted; always approachable and a laugh. Great. We have never experienced something like that. The entire staff ( so really all: from the gardener to to the pool boy and the service etc.). Are all very friendly and attentive. We had nothing to complain about and would go for a week return. read more

Quiet hotel with very well maintained other tourists, no noisy russians, english or italian. An ideal place to relax and relaxing with amazing service and very varied buffet. For Egypt a smaller hotel (approximately 160 rooms) / pleasant, almost informal atmosphere/ lots of regular guests/ mostly german speaking guests from young to old - over new year's eve were some egyptians in the hotel/ dishes very tasty and rich-buffets were always refilled, even for later time / transfer from the airport was quick / to the beach it is some meters, but by the beautifully landscaped garden, it is a feast for the eyes/large, heated pool with enough chairs and umbrellas all around, on 2 levels/towels and cushions were available for free. We the friendliness of the staff ... very impressed. U. e. not submissive (as in a previous review), but simply only hospitable and helpful. Every staff you can hear a good morning/good day. We were this time (the 14. time) to the turn of the year in the hotel and were loved it again. Hotel with 167 rooms and suites, partly to the pool, partly facing the land side. The garden are the men in green well-kept. It is worthwhile a stroll through the garden of the neighboring hotels. You could book half board or all inclusive. We prefer all-inclusive all meals are in buffet form in the main restaurant offered. In addition there was small snacks at the pool- and beach bar. The quantity and quality of the dishes we found very ... good. There is something for every taste. The oriental potatoes were again a dream. By the pool there are enough chairs and sun protection. This time there was even cushions. This and the towels are free made available. The rooms have a very good size. Here there is a large closet with a safe, enough clothes hangers, slippers, bathrobes. There is a desk with stool, television, mini bar (soft drinks), kettle. Seating area with 2 chairs and table. Bed is big with comfortable mattresses. On balcony or terrace there was a table and 2 chairs. The large bathroom has a hair dryer, shower gel, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, soap and a Waage(for the luggage \u263a ). The staff is definitely friendly and courteous. German was understood/spoken. Russian, english, french. During the day by the pool moist cool towels and also treats (fruit, oriental pastries) enough. There was even the service, that the sunglasses cleaned! For regular guests will find once a week a repeater dinner with the hotelmanagerin instead. Here one met in the indian restaurant, which also from the guests once can be used free of charge. The new year's eve there was a great buffet and evening entertainment. Instead of mortars slammed around midnight the balloons. It was an outstandingly beautiful evening for us. We missed this time only the very nice guest relations Andrea, the unfortunately not longer there. The excited now guests in another hotel (as we could read). We hope, you will find soon a good place. Thanks to mrs schäfferlein, the manager, and the wonderful team, the it has. All have ensured, that it again a very lovely vacation was. Special thanks at Ramadan and foad of the pool service, noby, Ahmed e. and Hassan from of the pool bar, Ahmed g. from the reception and many dear other people in the hotel. We were from 07.-14.01. 2013 in this hotel, for the us through the positive reviews from holiday check-draw inspiration. We felt all around comfortable. Hotel, room, service and also the gastronomy were excellent. The complete staff, especially the manager Andrea were extremely friendly and accommodating. Since i week my birthday celebrated have, gave themselves the complete staff special effort. Geburtsstagsständchen and also the birthday cake were excellent. This hotel we could especially for all couple, not so much animation, however rather are looking for rest and relaxation, absolutely recommend. Everything was great. Pleasant staff, maybe sometimes a bit pushy (as well as in other hotels in Egypt). Perfect food, as there are nothing at all to complain about. Beautiful warm pool. Spa is unfortunately (at least with the half-board) not inclusive. read more

    Here are u. e. no 6 suns from. The entire staff is very friendly and try to anticipate every wish. Usually you get on the 2. day his favourite drinks without special request. German and english was understood and spoken, once more or less. Also can a few staff russian or french. Cleaning of the room was done well. Sometimes you with a towel and flower arrangements in the evening surprised. There was a childrens entertainer. Complaints/complaints/notes/proposals were accepted and you really makes an effort, improvements as fast as possible to implement. Missing was currently a guest carer.

There is entertainment, but rarely taken into account. Time darts, time Boccia, water and Volleyball. In the evening you with live music or Bauchtanz maintained.

    The hotel is in Madinat Makadi and is about 40 kilometers away from Hurghada. Therefore, you had a short transfer, however one sees also now and then a plane. In the Madinat there are a few souvenir stores, a bank, supermarket, internet cafe, bars, restaurants, diskotheque. 2 times a day there is a shuttle bus to Hurghada (6 Euro). Excursions could at the travel agent or resident provider be booked. To the right Egypt exploration, is at least a trip to Luxor necessary. The travel time there amounts to about 4 hours. The JAZ Makadi itself is in 3. number, it is a short walk by the complex to the beach neccessary. Here you should not annoy, but the creations of gardeners delight.
