That was sometimes classy for us and for so little money. A real star hotel for 65 €amazing. Usually we would do on motels is however in New Orleans as good as not possible or too far from of the city out. Since prices in this town probably quite high was the La Quinta a real gem. Well the car park was extra with 25 Dollar however with the room and the location it was for me not a problem. On the roof terrace is a chill corner with a pool, what else could you want? This hotel i can ... in the magnificent city absolutely recommend!
French quarter up the road archiviert
- June 2011
The hotel is located on a one way street. Due to the strong need time to arrive at the hotel and not drive. Parking is not easy to find and offers valet parking for the 26 $/ day. Restaurants and the French quarter are only minutes away. Bubba Gump shrimp our visit to the restaurant was an experience.

The hotel is within walking distance from the French Quarter. The rental car is parked yourself (valet) and you get in on the presentation of note Supports again. (Please note: We were $100 from the Glove box stolen, for the valet was actually only one in question. On our complaint was the parking fee, about 70 USD/2 nights, adopted, although you don't leave valuables in the car. Also the Parkmanager announced a exact investigation). To the hotel: It was obviously after Hurricane Katrina everything was newly renovated, it looks really good. The whole decor was relatively new and stylish. The ... rooms were very modern and functional. In the third (? ) Floor was a smaller pool, the but met for a short hop into the cool water. Breakfast was continental breakfast, but ok. There were a few restaurants in the French Quarter, but some tourist traps. Still everything worth seeing, especially the Preservation Hall. Conclusion: New Orleans is always worth a trip. the hotel a good base to explore the city and outlying areas.

We were out and in the evening in the peace, 3 women and a child (2,5Jahre) still plenty of room for all. Well, the breakfast was just typical local food, coffee - took some getting used to, milk, yoghurt, that includes bagels, cereal and homemade waffles I syrup, cream cheese, and jam, but that was fine, just what me more bothered us was that dishes, everything is made of plastic, but the is America. We had a rental car, this was parked for 3 days, paid $70.00 Internet was everywhere, if you don't have a laptop can use ... free PC in the hotel. The hotel is centrally located, you can get to the port or to the aquarium in 10 minutes - shopping 5min - French really nice about 15 minutes.
