Returned from a dreamlike vacation I would like to this hotel recommend to all, the splendid Island of Crete visit. The old part of the hotel is in the style of a small Greek village built, the garden over many years slow grown and lovingly maintained. The staff all large and small be and it has the vacation a success. At the mythos bar meeting itself in the evening the guests for a comfortable Gathering. The kitchen offers a lot of variation and various theme nights. Everybody finds the fitting. The room would be cleaned daily and there was always ... fresh towels. For wonderful beach one goes only over a small street. The water is clean and sloped down, so that children easily in the water can play. It is always guests give, which have to all somewhat to complain about have. These people do to me wrong, because they taint the most beautiful weeks of the year itself. Are you open to the Greek Lifestyle and the kindness of the people. Where the heart and soul of the hands, there is Kreta and the Cactus Beach hotel. I will definitely be back there read more

We were almost the last guests the season in the hotel, nevertheless was this the staff ( friendly and accommodating) not say. At the hotel there is as far as nothing to complain about. Small faults at the structure ( small black places in the shower area in the bathroom) are in southern countries almost usual and you will see large above, if not just a bit serious the safety at risk. The food in the restaurant would have could have been more diverse. There was all together always the same, it is meat, vegetables, side dishes or salad. Had ... tasted it nevertheless very good, particularly the desserts-). Positive also, that a part of the food fresh at the buffet prepared. Especially delicious, even the cocktails, what you like in the happy hour exploited. The way to the beach ( a narrow beach road must be crossed) is subject to location the room between 100 and 400 meters far, if that was too far, there are also at least 2 pools on the complex. Another anlagenteil is located behind a main street. These crossed under through a tunnel, the however very low and cramped and the charm of a cave This part the hotel we could not see more, because it is already season was closed. It should be there however also at least a pool are. To the environment: since we at the end of the season there were, were the last days (24- 28.10.) true totengräberstimmung, hardly open shops and restaurants. We were extremely satisfied with the hotel, even if the room not brand-new anymore it was. The new room there are currently only in the new part ( Cactus village ), nevertheless are the remaining more than enough and super clean.
The food is on each doubt sublime. Who finds here nothing, it is your own fault. There is in the morning for example fresh waffles, pancakes, Omelets. The offer, during our stay in the two restaurants ( Trattoria and tavern) to eat, we gladly accepted and were equipped with a 3-course menu worn out. Delicious.
The location at the ... beach is grandios! It is enough, over the street to go, you're at the beach bar. Stairs down, you're at the beach. The is quite small, nevertheless gave it at no time problems, free chairs to get. In order to avoid any misunderstandings: the chairs and screens are only for a fee ( together 6 Euro per day) to get.
We were so thrilled, that we our next holiday there in the coming year plan.
Oh, difficulties often occurrence, but in case of any problems I could only offered customer service recommended, it helps quick and uncomplicated! read more

In october 2012 we were as a family there. The staff were very helpful and nice, the rooms clean and the food very good. We felt at ease and are definitely again return. Unfortunately was (for the hotel can't), the end of the season was and in the 2. week a shop for the other castle and the atmosphere in Stalis but very different. Also the entertainment in the hotel has been halted, because, that the number of guests considerably reduced. Especially good we liked the complimentary 'à la carte' evening at the beach pleased! read more

Our room only with a broom cleaned, twice was damp in certain places mopped, after a big storm. The tiles in the bathroom and the mirror gave information about the putzqualität and the was bad. Streaks on the tiles and leftovers from shower gel or shampoo from the previous guest were to be recognized clearly. The mirror was very big, too big for the cleaning lady, you cleaned about 4 times in 2 weeks above, where they went.
The hotel makes besides that a good impression, no mold or similar. The laundry was every 3 days changed.
The food is ... very varied and good seasoned.
Very suitable for children, for people, the noise dislike, not recommendable. read more

The Cactus Beach hotel is a very nice families-hotel and has a spacious and lovely designed facilities. Particularly the hotel bar ( myth bar) with her very friendly barkeeper Michalis is inviting to stay a while, furthermore you can a very good Mojito and other cocktails enjoy. The rooms are all clean and tidy neat. This hotel is definitely recommendable. read more

The complex is in sum than 'nice' to look at. Here was on lots of details important, which in the numerous vegetation, nested zimmerzugängen and the authentic mediterranean style postcards. With the cleanliness this is so a thing-some like the typical southern siff -we not really! Despite of us, and the hotel stadtgegebenen moving rooms, the condition of the room does not be improved. The enclosed benefits we could except for the usual all-inclusive program not discover. We have admitted on the way there forget anything- one child. Great holiday and as promised, a real beautiful, as well as varied family hotel ( with exception some kinderfeindlicher guests, the across the street at the cactus royal better off are). The staff and the waiters were always very nice and helpful ( with exception the prescription ion forces, the more always ill-humored were).
Many families with children, a friendly atmosphere and many possibilties for playinf ( all inclusive with family definitely recommendable).

With our vacation the off season strong noticeable made. The hotel staff were little motivation to be friendly. The shallow pool was completely except business and the front desk the notices of defects on led, but there was no response, whether you fixed were.
The hotel itself is a correct nice hotel. The rooms are big enough. The proximity to the beach as described. read more

We are with our adults children and traveling had a great week.
The hotel complex was great. The food was very good, the wide variety of beverages for all inclusive was ok.
The value for money altogether was very good.
To criticize but in any case the rooms (709, 715, 716?). In all of our three rooms the bathroom was unhygienic. After showering stood the bathroom in all three rooms more or less underwater. The shower curtain stuck in the showers at the body. The cracks between the tiles were very black.
Without these drawbacks we would have in any ... case more joy at our vacation had. read more

Meanwhile we already twice a year in the Cactus Beach, literally our second at home.
Complaints or negative reviews other guests we couldn't understand, as it the front desk and the great customer service and contact person returns. Who this was not in use and only after the vacation excited, it was your own fault, because it is always tried to help, if sometimes not is okay.
The hotel is great located, right on the sandy beach, the also is great. Very well maintained facilities and fantastic planted, just comfortable. Shops, bars, restaurants and taverns in the immediate vicinity.
The ... service - staff: all world class, so much friendliness and warmth. Even after a stressful working day is still a fun inside, kudos. And don't forget, the myth bar to visit.
The rooms are very spacious cut and are cleaned on a daily basis. Fridge, air conditioning, telephone, hair dryer, tv and so on everything available.
The food is very diverse and plentiful. Everyone should find something. Do not forget, pants elasticated take.-)

Love people, it is a four-star hotel in Greece, but it was very good! No matter what. The all inclusive was absolutely appropriate to the price. The food in the restaurant was fresh! I us on beach restaurant logged on to eat. It was perfect good! Love' other' tourist. We are in Greece and not Flatsaufen on Ballermann.
I had a complaint, this was without large Diskutionen fixed. You must stop the people the possibility ' mistake' good. It would be a dream hotel ( I didn't find it expensive! Really cheap for these benefits) but I'm a beach person ... and the beach I was just too full-charge with umbrellas, therefore, everything was way too narrow for me. This downside I but also does the Hotelbefragung. Everything with other eyes, we are on vacation. Like at home it is anyway nowhere.-) read more

Room way too small. 2 chairs on the access to the bed. There are about 20 centimeter path to the bed. In the shower is a plastic of the showers at the body sticks, because the shower is very small. The safe is in the closet ground level appropriate. So a room is for older tourist with light physical complaints unsuitable. In spite of the complaint at the front desk we were not other room assigned.
In this hotel about 95% all inclusive guests. The beverages I would as hooch designate.

On the first day one wanted us in a' hole' from double room (2 adults and 3 children) stick. After complaint we were another given., not much better. After threatening the departure with Negativbewetung in all internet forums, we were then moved in the newly grown part behind the actual hotel ( by feeder road separated., with underpass) went smoothly. This was then in the four-star standard. There was everything new and fantastic. From then it was a very nice vacation, apart, that all auserhalt the hotel powerful in need of renovation is. From the facilities, asphalt unw.
Hotel I ... can only at the newly grown part recommend it. The other part is at best 2 stars ( room not clean., Dump, mold) read more

Once again we had 14 wonderful day of vacation.
The service was first class - the staff very friendly - the room comfortable and always thoroughly cleaned -
The very varied buffet, no wishes were left unfulfilled and there were still good.
The evenings at the mythosbar stay again forgotten. The easy going atmosphere and warmth of the staff invite to convivial and comfortable evenings a.

The safe was unfortunately out of service, the room and the entire area very neat and tidy. The staff very helpful. For families a very beautiful area with 3 separate pools. Less good cut in our opinion the beverages from, which included in the price have been, the payable drinks in the theme restaurants were good. What also less beautiful is, that the vacationers already early the pool chairs by the pool with towels occupied. There is often a spot, but if guests not in the pool area delay, must not be. The consequence was, all the made, is sad. ... The is however my opinion. I would gladly stay there again and the same hotel area select, very nice since it was separately lag. Thus we had a little more peace, so as we wanted it if the child NAP to do.
