Hotel Castello Belvedere^{(4 stars)}

The apartments are, as already mentioned, different sizes with one to three air-conditioned rooms, mostly terraces and balconies, most with a view of the Lake Garda. Already mentioned the functional, clean facilities ; in the kitchen but something is missing.

In castello Belvedere there was no gastronomy, but just outside about 50 meters away. But you eat cheap and rustic, but very good. Wines in the instep. Montecorno you should use - very good wines from the vineyards next door.

Seignor Mauro is the administrator, very friendly and helpful, speaks good german and english. Change of linen once per week, cleaning on request. The unfortunately somewhat meagre utensils but on demand complemented, complaints immediately taken care of.

Very good hiking and walking trails, the pool is clean, but could be bigger. Spots on good beach chairs with umbrellas directly at the pool or on a beautiful beach chair meadow with lot of olive trees, umbrellas partly. Available, hot/cold shower facilities. The water at the lake depending on the current more or less well, pebble beach or rocks. Many discos and clubs in desenzano, plenty of restaurants. Tip: no dish with pork ( maiala ) order (brr!).

The castello Belvedere is no hotel, however rather a holiday location-just in an old Palazzo. It has around 60 apartments/rooms, most with a terrace or balcony. The whole complex is very stylish with walls and high bars complete, the cars on a bekiesten car park. Everything is very well maintained, particularly the pool area and the very nice large garden, which also has several seating accommodation. The view over the Lake Garda to Sirmione, Bardolino and to Monte Baldo is fantastic and would be unique. The apartments are different large, we had 70 meters ² and great spread. The fittings are functional, but most of the time you spend anyway outside on the terrace, in the garden or by the pool. The castello is a complex, and therefore there is no food. Less than 50 meters away from lockable front gate but there is a kind of straußwirtschaft with superb, rustic food and even better wine (try: montecorno, red and lugana, white). The guests %blank% mostly from d, a, nl, ch and i. many families with children.

The castello lies on a hill on the Lake Garda on the edge desenzanos, therefore the breathtaking views. The sea/beach about 20 minutes' walk, by car or bicycle no 5 minutes. Back but uphill! All well-known places around are within a 25-minute drive away : Sirmione, moniga, salo etc. To Gardaland circa 30 minutes' drive, Bardolino 35, Verona 45 minutes. There are a number of shopping centers at the entrance to desenzano, very good food, even clothes, shoes there often for offer. Excursions with the ship/ fähe from the port desenzano in every direction, beautiful hiking and walking trails through the olive groves and vineyards.
