As a part of a three-week tour of the canadian atlantikprovinzen we stayed here two nights. After we thanks to the tiny schilds on site initially did are we found the hotel in the 2. attempt but still. There are surprisingly both in number of, as well as size enough parking spaces behind the B&B converted old house-which belonged but also to the highlights of this property. Already the front desk is only over stairs and by bells to reach, the luggage you should lack of lift and service even until into the room ( in the upper floor) Our ... room was very small, almost completely from the double bed completed and with flower wallpaper equipped. The bathroom emerges as a kind of tiny built-in cupboard - one must decide, if you get the door to the bath or the shower open would, both together is impossible. It is everything clean and tidy, even if on the house a strange odor is. Breakfast there was a hour (!) On the large communal table-an unpleasant touch of hostel respectively youth hostel. read more

The Heritage Harbor House Inn is a small bed & breakfast with about 20 different sized rooms. The hotel is family run, so we immediately felt very comfortable. It is also a loving and individual decor throughout the hotel and the courteous service the owner and all the staff. Cleanliness is of course. Rates include breakfast (p. Gastronomy). In addition, the two dining rooms available all guests have communal balconies, the sunroom, the two kitchens (p. Sports and entertainment) and an en-suite facilities (washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board and iron) available. The guests were singles, couples and families ..., the mainly from Canada, the United States and Japan mine. All guests were treated equally warm and accommodating. read more

Our room was on the 2nd floor. Floor in the attic. It was about 30m² in size and was very comfortable and nicely decorated. It also had a covered balcony for free on site parking (with two chairs and a small table). The room was equipped with a double bed (queen bed), a sofa, table with two chairs, a chest of drawers, and a walk-in wardrobe. In addition, there a phone (with direct dial telephone in the room), a fridge, a TV, a DVD/CD player and air conditioning. Everything seemed very well-kept and clean, which was clearly especially in the bathroom.

This intimate atmosphere continued at breakfast fort, the several tables in two intersecting Frühstückräumen concered together with other travellers. Every day we arrived so immediately with other guests. The breakfast consisted of a Eivariation and fruit salad. We have also made at the buffet between two different kinds of muffins, toast, small cakes, jam (strawberry & cointreau sauce.,), honey, peanut butter, butter, different cornflakes, yoghurt (different sorts) and three juices (orange, apple and Cranberry). It was all delicious. It is worth noting that this breakfast well above the normal Canadian standards.

The owners and the servers were very friendly and helpful. They always have a for the desires and needs of their guests and left to be prepared for that. Also cleanliness and hygiene of course is for you. The hotel staff speaks English, French, Spanish and Japanese. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day. There was also fresh towels and bed linen changed if necessary.

The hotel had next to the two dining rooms (approx. 25/35 m²) a sunroom (with a dining table and several chairs and a comfortable Sesselgarnitur) and two balconies with several chairs. Besides it had two small kitchens and us each a coffee maker, a coffee maker, coffee, tea, milk, sugar, dishes, a microwave, a fridge free of charge. Also there was the possibility, DVD and free loan or free internet with your own laptop or with the hotel's computer to surf. As mentioned above, is the theater with musical performances within a few minutes walking distance. Moreover, you at the nearby Victoria Park jogging or for example. Play tennis.

The hotel is located in the historic Charlottetown. In about 5 minutes or so walking to the city center, where it for example. Restaurants, souvenir shops, bookstores and banks. Also the Victoria Park and the Confederationcentrer / center of Arts (for example. The musical "Anne of Green Gables") are listed in about the same time distance (p. Sports and entertainment). In about 15 minutes to the foot of the harbor or the information center. Supermarkets can be reached by car on the highway 1 in about 10 minutes. The hotel is also good as a base for discovery tours over the entire island as Charlottetown is very centrally located. So you can reach the most important monuments, such as the Green Gables House in Cavendish in about 30 minutes by car.
