The hotel is very tastefully, but always very noisy (we stayed at this hotel four times and were always loud companies). If you check in late, after insisting preregister, you only get a room " desired " The remain. So check in early, then you got " good " room.
The breakfast room is large and noisy. The food left something to be desired.
But the hotel itself is a bit, and we'll always leads.
I would recommend this hotel to others?
Yes.
Yes, because it was nice, spacious and clean
No, because it is very noisy and early check-in ... time, in order to get a reasonable room read more

Clontarf castle hotel is located about ten minutes with the taxi (see tip below) of the city and 15 minutes from the airport.
Deluxe room are small and functional, no balcony, but a small bay with pitch (windows could we not open). It is even an iron and ironing board available, as well as coffee and tea maker. Room are clean and are cleaned daily. Our room was on the fourth floor in the new part and was very quiet although the pub and the indigo bar (birthday) were very good! The beds are great, super comfortable! Shampoo and shower ... gel/soap were available, likewise a Foehn (in a Ausziehlade in the bedroom!), safe and Wi-Fi Internet access (free Internet access) in the room available. Prices are high but not written Minibar (1 bottle of mineral water! to 3.60 0.25 L)
Breakfast is served in farenheit grill and is adequate (cold cuts/cheese/jam/yogurt/fruits/croissants/toast/bread/Irish breakfast/juices/coffee/tea). When we arrived we have served in the pub for a nightcap, was still well visited. Indigo bar was for a birthday party reserved, great atmosphere for a drink plan!
Reception is 24 hours occupied and tried very hard! At check-out bags in the luggage room will be turned off, here you can get a number note. Have we not visited gym. At check-in a credit card is required if also the bed charges have been paid in advance online!
TIP:
Taxi cabs are minus eight twenty 20% on the fare for each drive in the airport shuttle even minus 25% on the fare! We have checked the taxi prices online in advance and when this is not the tourist rip off! Very friendly drivers, professional, prompt and reliable! We have all trips in and to Dublin with this company next time again! (Taxi order 2, per further passenger 1, the demand but also the other vendors!). 35318202020 www.8202020 CABs + twenty eight IE read more

The hotel puts the visitors to a different time back, the of armor everywhere and the fireplace in the entrance are great. From the outside, the hotel is also great from, there are only no shops around the hotel. The breakfast was great and costs only 10 , - €. The bus stop to get to the city center is about ten minutes walk away but the buses run at regular intervals. read more

Hotel with about 100 beds, atmosphere is great, in the hotel takes place very frequently family celebrations, what does not lead however to a disturbing noise window blind, sufficiently available, I can not write parking lots to more to the hotel, since we slept here only three nights and had breakfast two times. read more

The Ardmore is an old castle, that umgbaut and modernised. The rooms could have been a bit bigger, everything else was great. The hotel is lovely, with nice details. Behind every corner Lurks a surprise. Whether it is a old ARMOR or the large number old key behind the front desk. The only thing that wasn't that great was the breakfast. The selection is great, but unfortunately, it was cold and therefore not edible. read more

This hotel is located in a very quiet area and can only be recommended. Value is not always given, but ok for Dublin. This hotel is within easy reach by bus 130 from the city center ( O'Connel Street) or by bus 104 converts from the airport. 15 Minutes by bus 130 to city center, from there you can walk everything. Note: The hotel bay from the credit card the roomrate from, plus 50,00 Euro per day for may be extras. This amount will be adjusted at check out. If you are not a lot of space on its ... credit card, see immediately old. The hotel is very clean, but I don't advise eating breakfast. Too expensive and without variety, in the city center there are better breakfast and cheaper. The restaurant FARENHEIT GRILL in the hotel is very expensive for German standards; in the Knights bar you couldn't eat as it didn't taste and it is far too expensive. read more

Dublin Center is 15 minutes by bus or taxi ride. Gorgeous old castle was expanded with modern hotel. Stylish bar "Indigo" but often than event location serves. Quiet location, safe neighborhood but only during the day from and to aircraft noise ( ) which city breaks but didn't really bother us. Very friendly ladies at the front desk help with help and advice. All in all ... Worth a visit!!! read more

Old Castle with Inbuilt modern structures in Dublin. Small rooms and very small twin beds. Insist to get what you see on the pictures in brochure or internet. Hotel is within three and dust not fully cleaned in the rooms. Lounge mostly booked out by private parties and bar and restaurant usually overcrowded. Breakfast buffet was not convincing. Make-up facilities for ladies could be upgraded. read more
