The dessert nigths camp itself was okay, if also for the, what culinary offered, too expensive. Unfortunately also, that you evenings so many lights light. The desert sky will completely ' devalued ', that means can not at all really enjoyable. Camel ride of 10 minutes to circa 45 omr, the about chf 117 (converted) we find an absolutely cheeky offer. You should not use such bargain prices. read more

Middle of desert, 11 km of sand road, desert camp
We liked it, authentic desert night out.
Nothing else around camp. Good sunset. Liked the tents.
Camp uses electric water heaters in a sunny desert area! This is an obvious place to be using solar water heaters, as the electric heater tanks also wear out fast. Solar panels would be another good idea. read more

We had an excellent stay for 2 days in the camp. Everything was absolutely excellent, and we would rate it top quality. Please keep in mind that the camp is in a total desert, the nearest village is about 12 km away, so to keep the property in such a superb state is very challenging due to its positionning in the sand desert.
Quadbiking in early morning and dune bashing were excellent activities and the staff was more than super friendly and accommodating. I was travelling with my elderly mother and we were not restricted in experiencing the camp in ... full.
Thank you to all the staff! read more

The Desert Night Camp is much more than a camp in the desert. It has beautiful tents with wall structure with attention to detail of a 5 star hotel. The rate includes a delicious buffet dinner and breakfast; you can then choose between a range of extra activities in the wonderful desert dunes surrounding the camp, like quad excursions. read more

The five star Desert Nights Camp consists of 26 very luxury permanent tents, app. 12 kilometers in the Wahiba Sands desert, which is owned by an Omani and managed by a Sri Lankan hotel chain very well.
When we were there we were almost the only guests since it was still low season.

The desert camp is for a camp very, very comfortable, it wasn't missing anything. There are even air conditioning. Almost as in a hotel consisting of small brick tents. They are very tastefully decorated. Whoever urtypischer would like to, is in the wrong place here repealed. If you have a certain' luxury' also in the desert would, is right at home here. You can be comfortable. There are a lot of add-on from camel riding to quad biking, through dune migrations. And so on everything is a great experience. Evenings barbecue with oud -music and then music/ Singing and dancing ... by Bedouins at Campfire. We really enjoyed it there. It is almost 'obligation' when a Omanrundreise a stop from 1a 2 nights appeal. read more

Very nice camp with luxury facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the middle of the dunes and camels. Drive to the sunset, as well as Camel riding in the camp is included in the room rate. Larger camel tours and Quad biking are liable to pay the costs. Since the dunes too much wind, the travel was undertaken to sunset. The staff was very accommodating and 1 hour we could free Quad biking. From this summer onwards, a pool is available. Alcohol is also available. The camp is no guide very easy reach. The tire pressure must ... not reduced to be. 1 night was for us. read more

We have a night here spent, but the hotel certainly recommend it. The camp was located between two dunes, eleven kilometer away from the next town Al wasil. We traveled with the own car and the hotel had no problem, although we in between not sure, if we really are. The road there weren't, but rather a runway leading. The best way to get oriented at the dunes on the left hand side (nice the dunes after). The camp was very luxurious and spacious. The activities are limited to a camel ride, Squad and rally in the desert. At sunset ... you are driven by car from the camps to the nearest dune and the incredible mood with free soft drinks and chips. This must be taken on all cases. read more
