I went to visit 2relations there, 1 disabled, and Svend changed his room so that I could be next to them which was most kind and convenient for meI have been to you before and my opinion is the same, the hotel is really well set up for the disabled and it pleases me that so many people are able to enjoy themselves despite their problems. One thing I would say is that I feel that the surface of the tiles by the pool shower block with wet feet is very slippery even for an able bodied person like ... me. Would it not be a good idea to put down a clear. resin with a fine / medium grit to make it anti-slip Apart from that keep up the good work! Noel read more

The hotel is especially for the price disabled people, a wheelchair are very good. We had booked a comfort room. This rooms are of various sizes and differently equipped. Some rooms have a sea view and the whole day sun, others are to the street and only shade. The possibility a specific room is not and the price for all rooms is identical, which totally unfair and not to understand. A wlan area there are, however therefor you have to the library again, what actually today no standard is more. The food (breakfast, half-board) is good, the service however it ... could have been better. One is in the morning not the first, you can stock up your table yourself, evenings the service only well, later, one however hardly a service and indicated 2. beer lasts it already quite sometimes longer. read more

    As already mentioned are the rooms very different, but the price uniform per category. Normal you can room with a view of the sea, partial sea views etc. Separately and have different prices.

    The hotel has two pools, a beheiztet. There is a lifts for the disabled. The loungers are somewhat higher, which the stand up and lay down easier. Here one could only positive things to say.

    The hotel is located on a hillside. For handicapped people one should an electric wheelchair have, otherwise could have the way back for the elderly a problem are. To the very nice beach promenade it is not far, there you will find shops, restaurants, a beach for disabled, actually everything you need.

We had cockroaches with us in the room. Apparently not an isolated incident, because in the room was already anti -cockroaches-spray confessed. At the front desk said of night porter, that only in the autumn cockroaches has. Never more this hotel. read more

Because of the accessibility and the attached nursing service (lero ), we chose this hotel. In the hotel itself, everything is easy to reach. Accessibility in the hotel is exemplary. Los christianos and the mar y sol is for disabled and wheelchair accessible very suitable. With the necessary change is in the hotel all rules. There are 2 pools available – with 32 °c-and both with lifts. Here can wheelchair users without any problems into the water arrive. It is open from 9 a. m. until 18 o'clock a lifeguard for help available. The pool chairs are extra high and ... simplify the rise. The largest part the room is located in the old building. We had a 5 star premium apartment (new building) booked. In my opinion is the price from 212,- Euro a night including full board covered or not justified. Internet via wifi service is only conditionally possible, that means on the 4. floor the library. Otherwise in the whole complex no wifi service or wi-fi available. In the restaurants/bars at the beach promenade there is almost everywhere free wifi service – great service. For the return trip i have sought to security both of our bag. Here i should however per bag 1, -€ fee. Nor should one sufficient cash at the check-in have, since for a deposit is required. Remote control for the tv cost 30 €, safe key 10, -€, cable for internet 20, -€. For the pool towels and bathrobes also a deposit. In some room categories must the guests at check in prepayment for beverages afford. On arrival on saturday or sunday can be no pool towels/bathrobes to borrow, as the department at the weekend is closed. read more

    We had a 5 star premium apartment on the 5. floor. Since on the 5. floor also the front desk is, it was loud and noisy, because everything very badly soundproofed is. Telephone at night, loud voices etc. , were normal. The premium apartments, are the most expensive category in the hotel. Unfortunately i could not determine, what here with 5 stars premium is meant. Neither the facilities of the location. Shower gel, bathrobes, pool towels etc. There was not. For the pool towels and bathrobes, a fee is required. The name premium refers in my opinion only within the individual categories in this hotel. That's why i would not like to know, such as the rooms in the three stars categories are. Our room had 1 very small bedroom with increased (50 centimeter height) double bed. The bedroom with the wheelchair to navigate, will be difficult and if, then only on the left side. The rights side can not with the wheelchair to be started. Also the vanity is very close. There were two bedside tables and lamps. The clothes closet was large. Unfortunately not for clothes suitable, since the rack too low angebraucht was. Blouses and pants hanging was okay. The living room with integrated kitchenette is quite spacious but very narrow cut. If the sofa bed left is, one arrives with the wheelchair/scooter not on the terrace, as the path was too narrow. The concept of the room has not been thought through. Missing was a wardrobe for jackets, etc. Hanging space. Two kleiderharken would be helpful. So the chair as coat rack for our jackets serve. There is a stove, refrigerator and sink.     The food is okay and something for everyone there. Unfortunately the food was partly lukewarm to cold. In the morning, there was a selection of different types of bread (white bread, dark bread, grains and white bread, etc.). Different types of cereal and jam. There were 2 sorts of sausage and cheese. Eggs, fried eggs, fried. Bacon and sausages. For breakfast everything was self-service also coffee was from the machines yourself. This was not the hit. Afternoons and evenings there was a buffet with a good selection of meat and fish. There was plenty of choice. The beverage prices are moderate. 1 cup of coffee 1,60 Euro, 1 large beer 2,90 Euro, apple spritzer 2,10 Euro. On one day in the week there is a Paella and sangria for 4,80 Euro.

    The staff is all very friendly and helpful. There are also two german-speaking guest assistant, every morning at the breakfast table and ask, wether everything is okay or wishes. For us it was so, that the booked category was received but not participate in the equipment-which was very important to us. Here we wanted to the guest care energetic talk, that the individual rooms this category are different. It may be but so it was over TUI not booked. This could and i wanted to not accept and insisted on a room change. This was only after two days and the for a week stay. It seems that the category overbooked from the hotel.

    The hotel is on a hill. There is quite a steep walk from the beach promenade to the hotel. People with a handicap are on a tool-electrically-. Brawn is not enough. The beach and shopping, the it here give, are not so interesting. The beach at the Playa de las visitas is located right next to the ferry terminal. Can one shoppen really good in los americanos. At the front desk you can have a behindertentaxi order. Wheelchair/scooter then via ramp charged. Shuttle service 1 time a day about the hotel. But, this service you should not get out, as no regulated departures gives. If you don't mind walking, you can the beach (Playa de las Vistas) in 30 minutes.

Rooms okay. Service ok. We had a great vacation. Bit unfortunately is, that one the tv, the safe, bathrobe and so on pledge to deliver must. But i would always go there again or flies. The heated pool, the short distance (1000 meters) to the beach and the well maintained complex pleased us. Good, sometimes was the quality of the food not good. But the all in all the food was good. Also the cleaning of the rooms was good. The beds clean and really important. Barierrefreiheit is very much emphasized. Best have from the staff liked it Pepe, sosa ... and Roberto. They had always a smile on the lips and hospitality was at always capitalized. read more

Reception and all outside areas clean and basically in good condition although there were some broken floor tiles on some of the terraces. The maintenance people were working in some areas but they did not intrude on our stay. We stayed on a half board basis which was buffet style. We found that most of the guest were German so communicating was a little difficult. The age range of the guests was from small children to elderly, everyone was catered for. read more

    We stayed in a "superior" apartment which gave us a separate lounge area as well as a bedroom. Full length windows in both rooms opened onto the terrace overlooking a garden. The downside was the road noise and no air conditioning although fans are provided. A huge bathroom made showering easy.

    Dining area is spacious with tables at different heights to accomodate differing wheelchairs. The menu was basically the same each day just a change of the meat. However the choice was varied and plentiful so that you could have something different each day.

    The Staff cannot do enough for you and they speak several languages. Every day at breakfast someone from the PR department came and spoke to everyone to make sure they were Ok. I told them I had lost a cup which was found and returned to the room whilst we were out, very impressed. If anything was needed, a call to reception soon provided it also there is a nurse on call 24/7.

    We didn't use the pool but we saw others being hoisted into it and enjoy the therapy sessions. Evening entertainment is provided but we didn't stay to see any as it was a little too late for my husband. Instead we paid for a TV for the room, not all English channels are available.

We found that most of the guest were German so communicating was a little difficult. The age range of the guests was from small children to elderly, everyone was catered for.

    Los Cristianos was a surprise, well maintained and very pretty. There were a few bars close to the hotel but not many shops. From the hotel excursions could be arranged on specially adapted coaches. If you want the beach it is about 10 minutes away however it is hilly and a powered wheelchair is a must. If you don't have one you can hire from LeRo as we did. Once you are at the beach it is flat and you can easily walk to Las Vistas which is accessible to the disabled. Accessible taxis are available.

Los christianos and particularly the Hotel Mary Sol is for disabled and wheelchair users definitely recommendable. The complex is throughout Barriere free. This also applies to Los christianos to. In the hotel are two pools with lifts, a helper was always place. Particularly positive uS the service in the hotel noticed, room and mattresses were without any problems exchanged. Every morning were hotel staff in the dining room to the be of the guests to questions. In the attached Sanitätshaus lero you can different tool rental. Since my man in a wheelchair we are still never so friendly and informal ... welcome as in the Mary Sol. You cannot describe it, one must have experienced it. We have in any case a very nice carefree vacation enjoyed, many thanks to the Mary Sol-team. read more

We were already 2 times in the hotel. If you don't expect too much and just rest and relaxation wanted it was just great. It wasn't luxury hotel. Many walls are damaged by the wheelchairs but since kan nman well above see if you don't perfect holiday I would like. The cleaning of the rooms leaves much to be desired. One must be already afterwards and say something if you weren't satisfied and it was even done. The bed linen can sometimes holes but if you to front desk is says what you get also there a new. But there ... are worse things if it is a just doesn't bother you and you just wants to have his peace. The food is great. There is something for every taste and very varied. The program evenings is also well can but times which new be made. Because if you every year go one knows everything already. The wheelchair beach is I believe that little far away. If a not can walk that it is too far away the 30 minutes to rolli -beach to walk. You can but also a shuttle bus take from the hotel where one itself endeavor promptly register should. The hotel was very clean, with lovely room staff. The showers were great, there was always hot water and no nasty temperature changes. In the children’s bedroom a large wet room, or roll in shower, which suited us well. We borrowed a shower chair free of charge for disabled son. Very clean cot for toddler, with attractive child bedding. Guests from all over Europe. Hotel mainly designed for less mobile and disabled adults, but our children had a great time.     Rooms felt a little small to start with, trying to fit in equipment, wheelchair and playing children, but once staff took out the bed we didn't need, it felt a lot better. Room clean and staff friendly. Sheets changed 3 or 4 times a week. No air conditioning, but fans available on request. You have to pay to use television, so we didn't bother. Small kitchenette with fridge. No kettle, but realised later you can ask for one. Some apartments have bigger kitchen but smaller bathroom, we liked having the bigger bathroom. Lots of space outside (we had garden on ground floor, old part of hotel, quiet area in shade, near walkway which runs alongside hotel. Felt quite safe with high fence. There is a back entrance which guests are expected to lock behind them. I think apartments in newer part of hotel are bigger.

    The staff at Mar Y Sol appear to take everything in their stride. Appear to speak many languages. The emergency buttons proved to be a little problem for us: within reach of a toddler, who could not resist pushing them initially, but good to know that if you need help, you can get help, even if lying on the floor, and they come quickly. Rooms cleaned daily. Laundry service next door at Lero sevices, where you can also hire and buy mobility and nursing equipment, and book excursions. Laundry and hire of cars is available cheaper in town if you want to shop around.

    The hydrotherapy pool was a real hit with all of us: mum, dad, 11 year old disabled son, 8 year old son and 2 year old daughter. Our children were fine with having to be a little restrained to respect other users’ needs and vulnerabilities, and could be a little more exuberant in the other pools which are much less used. They loved the water features, jets and bubbles in the hydro pool. I think in high season there may not be enough sunbeds for all. The favourite, especially for our 8 year old, was the Sports Hall. This is very new with lots of sports equipment and very roomy accessible toilets. The highly qualified, welcoming sports and Physiotherapy staff there were great at involving the whole family in activities, keeping all the children active and amused, and you don’t have to put sunscreen on in there! A bonus as far as my children are concerned. The entertainment staff and sports hall staff speak many languages. You can join in with time tabled activities too, such as pool aquaerobics, or boccia. The sports hall staff, entertainment staff and restaurant staff were very popular with our children, and made an effort to make them happy. Happy children make happy parents

    The resort Los Cristianos is well adapted for mobility scooters, prams and wheelchairs. The hotel is in a quiet area of the town, but within reach of shops, market and beach. Helpful lifeguards at the wheelchair accessible beach will transfer you to a 3 wheeled buggy with big wheels to help you get across the sand and into the sea. We found many good accessible toilets on the island, at swimming pools and beaches especially. There are boardwalks onto many of the beaches, great for families with buggies and wheelchairs. Los Cristianos is a little touristy, you don’t get a feel for original Tenerife there, but that is easy to find by hire car (cheap petrol!) and we didn’t care. We were so happy to have warm dry weather, a great hotel, ramps everywhere, and we finally relaxed. Many things to do for families on the island.

    There's a restaurant, where all main courses in buffet form are offered. The food is tasty and diverse. Of course repeated the dishes offered, which in our opinion in hotel buffets but also is normal. We eat also not everything, but we always found something delicious. The table-ware is sometimes' spülmaschinensauber'. Us it is 1 or 2 times happens, that the plates down beneath not very clean were. Then i just another... The kaffeekännchen for breakfast could be renewed. See not so appetizing.

    Us the entire staff members are very friendly confronting from the reception, over the restaurant, animation and room cleaning. Short after checking in we were the luggages brought to the room. What a star hotel definitely not standard is. We were already 2 times in the hotel. Both rückflügen we were around about 15 hours at the hotel picked up and also until then the room without an extra charge use. The hotel we have always booked private. Then unfortunately the tv not free of charge. For people, the on vacation gladly television, would be a free tv naturally servicefreundlicher. We can on vacation on tv do, so it is not so important for us. In our bathroom (comfort rooms) was the window broken and did not open. At the front desk we have and it was taken care of immediately.

    2 pools with lifts. The pool has 32 degrees and for us (wheelchair users and fußgängerin ) ideal. There is hardly any other hotel with so a warm pool and lifts. Lots of hotels have only one ramp (what not for every disabled people is) or are much colder. For us the pool 'entspannung' relaxation. Pool chairs we didn't often used, because we after a swim mostly above in the room gedusch tund us on the balcony gesonnt itself. Entertainment is as typical ' spanish ' for vacationers: bingo, quiz, etc. For us however more than adequate. We are mainly because of the recovery and should not be entertained.

Very behinderdenfreundlich equipped hotel. We were with 6 elderly and gehbehiderten persons there,. The rooms also the bathroom and the general Adjoining rooms ( toilet) are very spacious and wheelchair accessible. The food was very diverse and very good. The buffets were anytime again refilled and so, that everyone (also wheelchair users) everything always achieved! The whole staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Also the from the hotel organized evening entertainment was perfect! Small Wehmutsrtopfen, the building lies although it is very beautifully elevated a bit, with wheelchairs to the promenade and back was excellent! read more

The hotel is for the physically challenged people conceived. As Scooter Driver one doesn't feel as beargwöhnte minority and that makes the stay so relaxing. On 32 degrees Celsius warmed pool with Einstiegslifter is the absolute highlight. read more
