Only americans in the hotel. Disco at 1:00 o'clock to, last bar is until 24:00 o'clock open and then to bed... A great shame, since the young people have to definitely not in feriem at 24:00 o'clock go to sleep. à la carte restaurants for the tischreservation requested wine konsumation surcharge (wine prices were very high) or food at 22 o'clock... read more

Nice hotel with good service. Five star after category justified. We had a legitimate complaint, without the aid of Saidja D. Thomas Cook we had our money not see again, many thanks for this! The staff the front desk drove a stall-tactics of the personnel were fantastic. Great hotel as long as there is no problems gives. read more

I'll start with the positives. The restaurants are great - nice selection and the food is awesome. The staff are essentially all pleasant and stop to say hello. The beach was better than most; I believe it's a hybrid of natural and man-made but they've pulled it off well. The pool is pretty nice. The biggest problem I have is with the room. My bed had a huge dip in it; I mean massive. This is supposed to be a new resort so I imagine they probably bought the beds from another resort (?). There were hand/finger smudges everywhere (we ... washed them ourselves). You have to believe me when I say there was a used razor left in the room on the floor (wish I were joking). And probably the worst of it was the awful noises it sounded like the people upstairs were moving heavy-wooded furniture over the tiled floor (except that wasn't what was causing the noise; it was incessant). Also the rooms are so close to the pool where they play “water volley”, loud music and host a seriously boisterous crowd. The TV was improperly installed (askew). The grout was awful and molded. And the view (at least from our room) was very disappointing; there was only a slight glimpse of an "ocean" (we had the "tropical-view" room). Instead of what we thought a nice open view of the ocean we saw overgrown and untidy wild growth, other buildings and a dilapidated trampoline. I have stayed at worse but I also paid less at those places. For the price we paid, I have stayed at a much nicer resort that had all of the aforementioned luxuries/positives with essentially no negative to speak of. I will pay the extra few hundred dollars next year and stay at the Secrets Silversands. It’s owned by the same company and that’s where we went last year. It was much better and only slightly more expensive. read more

    This was the worst. Though the size of the room and the accommodations were good in theory, they didn't work, were understocked, poorly maintained and unaccessible. The view was dreadful (only a slight glimpse of the ocean; we paid for a "tropical view" but only got to see opposing buildings and watch people smoke from their deck, saw untidy and horrid overgrowth of wild vegetation and poorly maintained field).

    The number of restaurants was better than adequate; I believe there were seven in all. The quality of the food was excellent. The dining areas were clean. The types of cuisine were variable. They offered standard buffet (with variety of foods from multiple spots around the globe), Mediterranean, French (our favorite), Italian, Mexican, Asian, and then Sea-Side "Hamburger-Joint". The atmosphere was great. The wines were, however, overpriced and the "coupon" trickery is a well-known plight to separate one from his money.

    Upon check-in, we were "pulled aside" by Hector, with Hotel Management presumably to chat about the layout of the hotel and help us become acquainted with our surroundings. Instead, he utilized the time to give us a sales pitch about their newest resort and made us feel guilty for refusing the 90-minute presentation that he made seem almost mandatory. Sell or be sold I assume. Room cleaning was horrible.

    We didn't partake in any of the sport, entertainment or pool activities because that is the opposite of why we go on a beach vacation; but from what we noticed, they had a fair amount of activities in which to partake.

we had a company of three married couples. Hotel gave as rooms in different buildings, even when we requested to satay as close as possible. A lot of insects in the room: two tipes of ants and two types of bugs and two types of spyders. Floor in bufet is dirty, in the bathroom somethimes no tissue. waiters needs to be reminded to give you utensils or water. No shade on the beach or around pool area. While we werer on the beach no waiters for a long time or when they come with comleted order they brought something different ... or no tomato juicee. Very upsetting. Everything was great, on the first day we had problems in the bathroom. But they were dealt with immediately. Only americans, therefore all shows in their language. Rooms are large and spacious. It was very quiet, we could sleep every day with no problem. There was a great diversity of food, a bit more variation would be desirable. For example, it is so, that restaurants with the same card only get. Now here you have to go to the buffet. Should you want to dive, so it would, on the by the pool to book, but directly at the front ... desk. This was recommended to us zugar even on the staff of the hotels, which is a bit strange is, because it is made up. We had to pay the same and then is a snorkeling tour did not materialize, because of the weather. Downer and we're sorry, but it is also, I read it here. We were on the last day we were robbed. So please be careful with all your valuables and bags never to lose sight of the fact. I do not want to go further, because the page is prohibited, someone to blame.     The rooms were always clean and the bathrooms are quite large. They have safes in each room and you can take full advantage of the safes. They are automatic activated and you choose your own code; no keys to carry around!

    There is one buffet restaurant and it was excellent! They also have a French, Italian, Mexican, Asian and another restaurant. You can eat at all of these restaurants (no limits like other resorts) but they do not accept reservations. The French restaurant was excellent! You may want to order 2 main courses though because the portions are very, very small!

    The staff are all very friendly and do speak English. Our rooms were always well cleaned, but do not leave any valuables out of the safe because the maids will help themself to it. My husband's shaving kit and shaving cream were stolen; not very expensive ($50) but they did steal it!

    During the day, the entertainment staff had plenty of activities for the guests, but in the evening, the entertainment was not very good and it ended quite early. At 10:00 pm, you only had the sports bar and another bar outside and that was it! There seemed to be alot of seeweed close to the beach, but the pool was great!

    Be sure to ask for either beach front or beach view. Do not opt for the tropical view because you will be facing swamps if you do. The swamp view always had a very nasty smell almost like sewers. The resort is not close to other resorts and you are isolated from others. (not a bad thing) The hotel does offer plenty of excursions, but they are rather expensive. If you are going into town to do shopping, get your own taxi for the day instead of taking the hotel bus. It is a little more expensive if you get your own taxi, but it is well worth it and the driver will wait for you when you go shopping and take you anywhere you want!

Exclusive junior suites with high-quality and modern facilities, several theme restaurants (a la carte), infinity pools, turquoise sea and not too large area make the former nh luxury resort (today now riviera cancun-conversion was during our stay) a, for us, perfect beach vacation experience. The majority of the guests came from the usa and canada. This fact alone has good English knowledge of the staff, safe. Yes, americans are happy and sociable celebration, but also for peace seeking tourists didn't have any negative effects. On the contrary nice people could be made. But if you stay here many German Tourists ... looking for the wrong hotel (the guide was for us and a further couple of competence in this hotel). The theme restaurants there were a dream. We had in the two weeks new culinary experiences. Very tasty and service as good a la carte restaurants. To choose from asian (in the form of a pagoda), mexican (with typical live music), Italian (really authentic), French (lobster and similar) and a buffet restaurant, of course. After dinner in the evening you had the choice between three bars-sports bar (typically american, we only ate very, very short visited), the lobby bar with live music (great bands) and the beach bar, right on the beach (great atmosphere and delicious drinks). Also during the day one is supplied in a à la carte restaurant and at the pool-buffets perfect, from the drinks service on the beach not to mention. The hotel is located, relatively isolated, between playa del carmen and cancun. The journey should take corresponding to the most popular destinations (in addition to the departure of guests from other hotels included-two hours by bus tours through the hotel's no rarity. Nevertheless you should tulum, coba, and chichen itza don't miss it! Be aware: sufficient effective mosquito spray for the evenings! read more

We had a paradise suite-the money really paid off! Not only, that all concerns were preferentially (separate front desk with lounge), we also had a separate pool, were there were no children. It ran all day relaxing Lounge music and the staff looked like us formal, if we wanted something to drink. It was just great! The suite had a jacuzzi on the balcony, we had view of the sea and in both the living room and as well as tv in the bedroom. The restaurants were great too, especially recommended: the Italian restaurant (great fish and meat!) we stayed ... in the senses lobster dinner: a happening! As well as the presentation at the Asians! Great! Recommendations for excursions: Katamrantour to isla mujeres, tour to coba and tulum. read more

To the hotel you must be aware, that there are two areas: a 'normal' and the paradise club. On the day after our arrival, we have extra charge in the paradise club moved. Therefore, we have several comfort we had, for example, large suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony (my personal vacation highlight!), separate pool (no kids areas), breakfast in the à la carte restaurant or in the room. Towels by the pool for an unlimited period available. Impromptu reservation in the respective theme restaurants. Separate lounge with free internet access, etc. read more

Now I want to review but also the hotel, there isn't much to say, except, we were happy with the two weeks in mexico ☺ During our stay, the pool restaurant was reorganized, in the last few days, we were compensated with massage and coupon, so we have no complaints at all! The food was in all restaurants was delicious and plentiful, the beach was nice and clean, the pool as well. read more
