In the district of ' the beach' right next to the tube station Charing cross is this hotel very well situated for a city break.
On foot in 5 minutes on Trafalgar Square, or with the subway in nothing Quicker somewhere in London, better does not go it nearly.
In 2 nights we heard from the immediate environment loud music, there the air conditioning on was predominated all these noises and as we were tired from walking around were, we had no problems with the music.
For a city trip I can recommend the hotel.
The breakfast was always about ... the same, but there was so much that we never the feeling we had food everyday the same. read more

The hotel lies at great location. Many sights in a few minutes easy to reach on foot. One is in the middle of everything.
We had three in a very large room-very beautiful and also the bathroom is very big and very modern decor.
Breakfast - very good and sufficient. Apart from that we didn't in the hotel eaten, as it in the area very lots of possibilities has.
The best a bus-tour-you can during 24 or 48 hours and again when you want, and discovered the simplest the great London.
Would directly book the hotel again! read more

For a city break this hotel is highly recommended. It is in a great central location, close to the Trafalgar Square, the tube station is directly below the hotel. The bus stops are in the immediate vicinity. The service in the hotel is very good, the staff was always friendly and tried hard. We had a Deluxe room on the fifth floor with a view of the River Thames, big enough and very clean. The breakfast was varied and tasty. We will definitely book this hotel again! read more

Perfect location for sightseeing and shopping also. To foot, bus, subway or train, everything directly at the hotel. Distance to: river Thames/Trafalgar-square three minutes, Piccadilly ten minutes, Buckingham/Westminster Abbey and Big Ben 15 minutes. Breakfast was included and good. Restaurants, Bars in five minutes, 15 minutes shopping. All in all really to be recommended for London tour. The only hated the point: extractor fan in the bathroom runs constantly, door is closed at night when it is but. read more

The hotel is located next to the underground Charing Cross. All attractions such as the National Gallery, Piccadilly Circus etc. And most musical theater are reachable on foot. We have stayed several times in London but never had a hotel which was so well located. Central as it anymore. The breakfast is really very good for the English. Please note: only on the official musical tickets desk Tkts ( Leicester Square) are for sale. Unfortunately had to 1 negative experience with another selling point. read more

Hotel is above Charing Cross RAILSTATION in an elegant Victorian building. Very nice old building. Also beautiful inside and neat furnishings. Hotel was clean and neat. Also the room (was in the outer building) even if a little dated furnished and smaller than those in the main building was very clean. Bathroom clean and well maintained. Hotel is served from many city breakers with the direct location, but also by business guests, while we were there they had celebrated his 40th birthday. So that is also available. Breakfast was English and good. Very beautiful at night the Kerzenbeleutung in the ... lobby and in the huge staircase. (Very romantic: -) ) read more

The hotel is really central, but the outside is somewhat unassuming and is situated on the upper part of the tube station Charing Cross or the train station. From here but nothing. We also had a room in the adjoining building, a great view you probably shouldn't expect. The room and the bathroom were big enough, we have very different rooms in London. The breakfast was quite extensive and tasty, it was continually for replenishment. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an early check in (9:30) and a late check out (8:00 PM). Although the ... room wasn't ready yet) ( as you would expect, but the beds are uncomfortable the suitcases on both days absolutely no problem. If you are looking for 00:00 pub is no open in the area or in a club need to exchange currency, guests can round off the day wonderfully situated in the hotel bar. Some tips: The small walk to station Embankment worth it, so you can better with the tube way. You save in most cases 1x change. I can also highly recommend the Oyster Card, we previously in DE with static bought 20 pounds. Within three days we used a bit more than 17 pounds. In any case is cheaper than a 3 day ticket "travel card". You should go sightseeings head quite early, not much. London Dungeon: no idea how it inside, but the lines are outside (at least Saturday lunch) a bit about 100m long. Easy pickup for organised The owner of a ticket had their own line. Southwark, especially Borough Market and surroundings one should see, a great deal. Portobello Market: You will be in too many guides and is especially on the Saturday totally overcrowded. St. Paul's Cathedral: the galleries climb, it is somewhat tedious, but you do have great views from the top. users of wireless internet set out to place ( or already from home) a prepaid card so that you get on but also on every corner. We had T-Mobile UK with ten pounds topup already on eBay. Co. UK bought, 14 Eur incl. Sent by registered letter, within two days. This card can you for £2.50 and the SMS WEB at the 441 on a 5 -day internet flat press the SMS int to the 441 device which a Auslandtarif a, talks to the German ground network is only 0,05 £. read more

A hotel with very friendly staff and professional staff. OK, there were only English breakfast, but we had expected. The dishes were also not always very clean but the coffee tasted great., Loved the location is right on the Trafalger Square. A few minutes walk, and you are right in the middle of it all: in the east Houses of Parliment, from the west Soho and Chinatown, the River Thames in the south and in the north Buckingham, Piccadilli Oxford Street and the shopping area. What we didn't like: The room was small and there was only separate beds. Luggage ... storage space was available and there was even an iron and ironing board. The hair dryer in the bathroom was turned off; but we did have a in the dressing table. The window in the bathroom didn't open, however, it was huge and which hotel has natural light in the bathroom? At night because of the location, the course requires some street noise but I heard overnight with the curfew at 11 am. Still a certain sound came from outside, so that one could only sleep with the windows closed. But, if you can get the garbage trucks at two o'clock in the night overflowing their business. Overall a good hotel experience with a very friendly hotel staff, the only negative more than made up for it. PS: the friendliness and courtesy of the British could country so some as a emulate. PPS: adapter for English plugs don't forget. Better not the English post exchange bureaux de change but with the Thomas Cook; the exchange rate is here cheaper: For 100 Euro £75 at the post office, the T. Cook Weschselstuben 81 pounds. Still besse: All amounts of more than £5 pay by credit card, then you can always get the best rate. read more

This hotel is located right in the city center, you could reach both the attractions, as well as the malls mostly short walk or a very easy access to the tube. There are lots of bars, pubs and restaurants nearby and the River Thames is 100m behind the hotel. The breakfast was not very varied, but something for everyone and the quality was very good. The rooms weren't soundproof, of vintage building. For those on a city break this hotel is all first class! read more
