Very small and beautiful hotel in wonderful panoramic position, on the Sacro Monte di Varese. Extremely friendly and helpful Italian-Austrian couple.
Good food in the hotel's own restaurant at reasonable prices. The whole in an awesome panoramic view high above the lake Varese with panoramic view of the Po valley.
We were on a stopover on the way South here - the hotel is perfect for this perfectly suited. Up here, there were no vehicles or other Sources. There is a heavenly peace in the middle of the Unesco- World Heritage site. A beautiful alternative to Lake Como or Lago ... Maggiore. read more

Gorgeous area on the edge of the national parks, perfect starting point for walks. Very well run house of young Austrian -Italian couple. Good breakfast with freshly prepared egg dishes and excellent cuisine. Good, affordable wines and a great capacity on the terrace. Lovingly designed room, unfortunately most without a balcony, that is the only downside. Apart from that complete success. read more

If you are thinking about stay in the region around lago maggiore, lago di vareso or milan and you want to be off the beaten tracks and the mainstream tourism and looking for an interesting quite area you have to choose this hotel.
We stayed two nights in Al Borducan to relax after some days after traveling around in italy.
This place is just perfect for everybody who wants to relax. The view from the hotel
is just breathtaking - really undescribable you have to see for yourself. The food in the restaurant is also very tasty (a lot of ... local people are coming to the restaurant which shows the quality)
The owners are very, very friendly and more than helpful. They speak italian, english and german (maybe even more…)
Not only the hotel with his view but also the little village is so nice and quite. We have been here in the high season but even then there were almost no tourists - its really a secret spot even it has a history of a couple hundred years. You will feel yourself back in time. Very romantic place.
From the hotel you can do some very interesting hikes up to the surrounded mountains.
You can also explore some "zerfallene" buildings like huge villas, a big old grand hotel all from a past century (around 1900-1930) which will give your hike
a mistirous touch and is also very interesting for children. Due to the reason that this seems to be a "geheimtip" you will be on almost alone even in high season on the hiking tracks.
we are so glad that we found this place and we will definitely stay again in this hotel if we around milan area.
Only 45min to malpensa airport is also a big benefit.
We are traveling a lot and stayonly in 5 o 4 star hotels all over the world. we can really recommend this very charming hotel. Try to get a one of the rooms with balcony - you will love it. read more

The hotel is located in to UNESCO World Heritage 's sacro Monte varese, a small village on a promising ridge above varese. If you have the upstairs is, you arrived there: it is wonderful quiet.
The hotel is inside as outside consistently tastefully restored and decorated. Our room received amongst others by a seating area and writing area equipped loft a particular space.
Fresh, extensive breakfast buffet with panoramic views.
The restaurant has a small, sophisticated menu with regional specialities.
Very caring, friendly team. Wishes will be received.
We were very comfortable. read more
