New house, ski behind the house strap and go there, nevertheless in the center of rauris-right next to intersport-very convenient; extremely pleasant, informal atmosphere; spacious, beautiful, clean, bright, comfortable room; versatile breakfast buffet (wide selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, light and dark (bio -) pastry, different sausage-, ham- and cheeses, various cereals and cereal, besides chopped fruit for the muesli, yoghurt, different juices...) , delicious four course menu in the evening (2-3 options the main course on ) included large salad buffet (fresh! The hotel is in brilliant condition. The rooms are very spacious and very clean.
The food is good, but potential for optimization (exactly like the service). The breakfast buffet is great (especially the freshly baked bread) and offers a wide selection of absolutely fresh treats. The dinner is generally good, however often very weak seasoned. The salad buffet leaves however nothing to be desired.
The waiters reacted unfortunately on complaints (inedible fish on the last evening, forgotten drinks.) Not.
Unfortunately the room in the afternoon only sporadically open. After the promise of cakes must only be asked.
The owners ... search contact to the guests unfortunately hardly any. Only extremely likeable and competent junior boss searches now and then the conversation. read more

My parents go into raptures for years about this hotel and over the christmas holidays, we should finally also in the enjoyment of your stay will be. The reception was very welcoming and the following days the absolute relaxation. The day starts with a rich breakfast, which really nothing to be desired leaves and in the evening you with a delicious 3-course menu plus salad buffet spoils. After that you can the day in the cosy parlour. Unfortunately we were mostly after our long ski days to tired.
There we over the christmas holidays in the Hotel Birkenhof were, there ... was for us on christmas eve a cosy get-together with the family lohninger and the 1st christmas day a stunningly delicious weihnachtmenu. read more

The hotel we can further recommend without any doubt. Sauna, steam, and so on we didn't use, because in the rauriser valley so lots to see and do, the a vacation for sure not sufficient.
In the hotel we felt more than well, everything was just right. The house is bright and friendly furnished, food, service and above all the personal and care, everything worked well. We want, it won't be our last vacation in Birkenhof was, and say again very cordial thanks. read more

After the remodeling, we have the Birkenhof not recognized. It was previously very nice and familiar, but now, in the guest house a really beautiful hotel become. We had again the feeling, right at home. Anneliese, Doris with Ewald lead the hotel with very much a lot of heart and personal commitment, which is not only in the delicious food fantastic. The breakfast buffet with freshly baked bread and homemade jams left nothing to be desired. The three-course Choice menu in the evening was prepared with much love and was every time something special.
The new rooms are very tastefully ... decorated; so what to be comfortable! Also the bathrooms are nice and large and modern furnished. After the ski day, the small but fine sauna for relaxing a.
The location of the place is very centrally located, but without disturbing traffic. By the garden on the (snowcapped) lawn is one in a few minutes the elevator.
In the town are all important shops( supermarket, sports shops, restaurants and so on) reachable in a few minutes.
We are already looking forward to the next visit in Birkenhof. read more

Our fifth stay at the Birkenhof. After four times in the winter in September. Experts say, in all six stars, would be incredible. I am doing it anyway, because we had a dream vacation in a great family atmosphere from the first to the last day. Thank you. We have our vacation (2 adults and three children) stayed at the hotel Birkenhof. We had a large room with five beds and balcony. The location is beautiful, the hotel Wat very clean, the staff was incredibly friendly and polite. You have done, that you can fall.

Very friendly and competent family-run Hotel. Central location. Excellent cuisine of high quality, very varied and super delicious, rich, vital buffet breakfast, four course dinner (soup, salad buffet, two main dishes to choose from, dessert)-a compliment to the chef-Anneliese. We loved the Birkenhof's after the renovation.

Feel from the moment we arrived until check out very well. When we arrived we were welcomed in a very friendly and explained everything wissenwertes.
The room was great, very tastefully decorated with furniture and the bathroom was very modern and brightly decorated. On the balcony there was a table and chairs, as you could relax after the hike was great. The cleanliness in the rooms and in the whole hotel one must also very.
The breakfast and dinner was on quality and selection best. There were no wishes open. You wanted for breakfast is a fried egg, it was ... immediately made. In the evening you could choose between four main dishes.
Due to its central location, this hotel is an ideal starting point for hikes. Also close to shopping and some nice restaurants and cafes. A large compliment to the family Lohninger, in your house you just feel welcome and feel was all requests were read from your eyes. We loved it and will definitely stay there again. read more

If you want a dog, can always find a club. We had no big stick. Holiday was great and the 'chef Mama' unique.
