The Grand Hyatt Berlin can whole line convince and is therefore a clear recommendation. Outstanding are the location of the hotel nearby des Potsdamer Platz, the architectural design both of the hotel, as well as the furniture in the room, the corridors and the restaurationsbereiche, the layout of the sauna range /of the pool and the quality of the dishes in vox -restaurant. The only point of criticism refers to the mattresses in our double room: saggy is still polite. In addition to a fundamental recommendation: always particularly a room without connecting door choose. The hotel convinced through full service, friendliness of the staff and an ambience of class. The check in was just fun. The rooms are thought out and very good designed. We have wi-fi access is a complete, free provision requested, otherwise we were spoiled and could direct location of Berlin really fun. read more

On the bed sheets (foot end) were smears throughout our stay (3 nights). They were not to be overlooked. Mirror in the entrance area and the glass table were full of streaks. In the sweet tin were still traces of the previous tenant, only blank paper. In the toilet area there were blood streaks on the tiles. The staff at breakfast was very attentive and friendly. Although nearly the same price as at the Adlon, the difference to the Adlon is big. read more

We had a very nice stay. In comparison to other reviews we have for breakfast an extremely attentive service learn, as we also from the Hyatt hotels in Köln and Hamburg know. Because of the good weather we could 2 of 3 times outside breakfast, as to the matter of course perfect made. The pool on the roof is a real highlight, for its implementation, fully stainless steel appliances, even hand-crafted very well finished. The entire equipment of the hotel can be used in a very high quality are called. Very good like ourselves the inlying, from 2 sides accessible ... bathroom, as well as in the Park Hyatt in Hamburg. We can Grand Hyatt Berlin highly recommend. read more

Modern designed hotel with 342 rooms and suites on eight floors. Built in 1997. Large lobby with beautiful flowers and comfortable seating, adjacent are the hotel bar and the restaurants. Design-oriented interiors, which in the public areas contemporary, and very inviting. In contrast, the extremely weak lit in grey and white kept etagenflure, in which obviously a hospital inspired. The hotel has private parking in a public underground car park which has a separate lift from the lobby to reach are. The on the first glance cheap parking fees totaling 20€ per day you can reach however only, if the ... car for full 24 hours in the garage remains. Left these in between, in hour of usage. And then not only very expensive, but also annoying. Because one must each exit separately at the automat pay. A release of entrance pulled tickets through the hotel isn't possible. During our stay were mostly German guests present. The atmosphere in the elegantly effective house is casual, because of the size but also quite impersonal. read more

Since it looks almost bizarre, that a waiter exclusively but was turned off for the guests multiple morning after the rights issues.     On a lot famous and busy Potsdamer platz opposite the berlin casino located. Whether the place including environment an architectural eye pasture is, everybody has to decide for himself. Uncontroversial however, from here S-Bahn and subway the entire city is easy to reach. Numerous restaurants in the immediate surroundings, as well as the Potsdamer platz arcades, which shops and restaurants on several floors offer. The Sony center and a large cinema are in the immediate vicinity.

Overall, the Hyatt a very good and upscale hotel - which usually at the top of the Berlin price is available. You want however with Regent etc. Also in terms of service compete must one nevertheless somewhat more 'into the stuff' lay, it seems to me in such a way before as would be the service in comparison to before some years. The room is still nice, clean, large bathroom, one notices slow that it was not a brand new room more is however the fits all. The noise insulation is also outwardly good, it is quiet in the room. ... Negatively noticeable are the following points: The lady at the reception knew the booked rate (third night free- at the front desk may be deducted) not. A no-go for such a hotel. -> also was this time the friendliness some ladies at the reception not quite as large as some time, altogether it seemed rather 'neutral' -> the attention in restaurant and bar wasn't optimal, the waiters worked with full VOX restaurant overburdened, you waited too long ( even at breakfast) -> at the bar on the terrace you were also gladly times overlooked ( ignored) Some employees in the service ( apprentices?!) acted too casual. The Hyatt remains a good and nice hotel, however you noticed a trend down to stop should apply. read more

The hotel and the rooms and the furnishing are in good condition. What I didn't like it, are toilets with a einerthin Sliding door. The bathroom was very nice and big enough. The room however seemed rather a bit small. The spa department in 8. Stock is great, the view from the pool or jacuzzi of the city is great. Sauna, Turkish, etc. Are also very nice and booked Pedicure was good. The breakfast buffet in the VOX-restaurant on the ground floor was very good and had plenty of choice. However were me the tables too closely next to each ... other and the waiters seemed a bit overburdened. read more

This is true clearly at the Grand Hyatt Berlin' to. Especially on the staff, it only to a summer's tale, leave. If you like we have many five star hotels in Berlin try it has, does hardly, that the ' GHB ' the everything still beat can. Alone the reception was so honest and human, that one from the start only be comfortable had. This ease and friendliness was very available. The staff has without exception just passion and from. If you ' GHB ' left, you can only in superlatives and more than happy to and definitely again. read more

Because of the fashion week duplicate price, as Hyattstammkunde I think it is outrageous. On telephone, as well as locally I got constantly other price said and the more expensive I was then always nearby put. Absolutely no Hyatt standard! read more
