For the 3. time we enjoyed our short break (over new year's eve ) in this wonderful hotel and were - as always - very satisfied. The family leads the hotel with much attention to detail and friendliness, so that one felt all around good. Particularly the lounge leaves nothing to the imagination. In the self-service a drink (coffee, tea and soup free of charge ) you feel like at home. For 2013, we already again everything is clear and look forward to a successful new year's eve in the year 2014. read more

After we the room changed, was nothing to complain about. Everything was great. Great bathroom, large room, very nicely furnished, comfortable. However A view of the unpleasant inner courtyard.
The first planned room was bad. Very small bathroom, small room, leaky window. But a great view of the sea and the lighthouse. In the summer probably very loud, because it to the street is.
Definitely recommendable, great breakfast buffet, pleasant staff, very clean and very friendly. read more

Unfortunately was the breakfast buffet every day directly. We could have been a bit variety desired. But that is complain about of a high standard. Felt very comfortable and will definitely come again. read more

For the umpteenth time we have in the hotel de vassy vacation spend - and are not disappointed have been. Quite on the contrary: we had this time not room with a balcony, but were nevertheless satisfied. The room ( number 25) was large, well equipped, clean and cozy. Bathroom with a bath was clean and tidy. The missing balcony could through the wind-protected and fluffy Cushions provided terrace good compensation. With coffee of any kind or hot soup from the service-point we have here comfortable stay spend. The breakfast really leaves no wishes unfulfilled. We will in the coming ... year come again. read more

Beautiful, informally run hotel right next to the sea and thus at the endless northern beaches Holland. The location, the cleanliness and the breakfast inch of the hotel. Our room was a bit small limited, however with very large balcony. Unfortunately which was (free ) Wi-Fi-Signal not until in our room. Egmond aan Zee is a rather expensive, but also one of the gespflegteren tourist destinations in the region, a trip to the nearby, pretty Alkmaar for example very recommendable. read more

We were on arrival welcomed friendly and Selbstbedienungscounter for the beverages and snacks, as well as the breakfast room and the room was shown to us.
At the front desk you through a small sign informed, that the hotel from 01-07-12 not more Best Western heard.
We had a room with table and 2 places to sit before terrassenfenster, which we with 3 or 4 rooms shared. The room was very spacious with plenty of storage space for clothes, a small fridge and plenty of electrical outlets. The large Doppelett was unfortunately a bit worn out. The bathroom was for ... 2 people large enough. It was unfortunately only a Frontspiegel since, in whom you do not back could see. The shower was ground level construction. You got a German television channel ( ZDF), the rest Dutch and English. The breakfast was very rich, there were several kinds of delicious, warm drinks from the automat and every morning fresh Agitating or fried egg. read more

The hotel is perfect for people, the a cozy hotel on the beach search. Very suitable for a longer stay. Rich breakfast buffet. Beautiful lounge, the especially in case of bad weather appreciated. There are many excursions in the area. read more

The location of the hotel in the immediate area to the beach and also close proximity to location is optimal. Although right on the hotel the road promenade past led, the noise absolutely within limits. There was nothing to moan about. We will definitely stay there again read more

We were during Easter for 4 days there. The hotel is in best beach area, public parking right on the hotel ( with free parking ). Our room was for Dutch standards very big, modern and spacious. The bathroom was newly renovated and also very big. You can very be comfortable, the owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. To the service is even a free bike rent. The hotel has no kitchen, one can thus only breakfast. The breakfast was also enough. The free coffee bar (also tea, cocoa or soup) we also gladly used.

We were on a short trip after Holland (keukenhof and Egmond at Zee) risks.
The hotel and the town were very beautiful. We would again come back!
The room was small but very clean and beautiful. From the balcony we looked directly to the lighthouse and laterally on the North sea. The dunes landscape and the long beach invite to Spazierngehen or hiking a.
In short a successful short trip. Also for longer stay suitable. read more

Stayed here with my friend a few nice days in Egmond aan Zee spent. The beach is very nice for walking and relaxing. The right and left of the town wonderful Dunes, the also invite for a stroll. From Egmond can also very good for a trip to Amsterdam. In the town itself there are many good restaurants and boutiques, the even good deals despite winter. In my opinion, the hotel was optically also the most beautiful in the place. I found particularly nice also, you hot drinks as much as you want you can drink for free-especially at the ... cold season this is very nice. read more

We were already often in Egmond aan Zee. In the year 2005 the last time. The price/performance ratio has changed. I have the feeling, that you are in Egmond have agreed about the prices, everything is expensive. Food from inflationary 15, small beer 2.50 inflationary effect.
Now to the Hotel de vassy: as we stayed in room 34, second floor, the heat in the room was, without which we could speak of a heat wave, as well as in the breakfast room, and N e r t r u g l I C h.
Positive emphasis are the free ... Wi-Fi service, safety deposit box, bicycles, drinks and the parking lot. Other hotels for a lot of money.
Only the owner could be a little more about its guests, when we checked out he could not even get up from his PC-work and say hello. Incredibly, it is ignorance or he is full, we will not come again. read more

This hotel is very recommendable. The location to the beach in Egmond is ideal. The rooms are well appointed and the typical Dutch architecture of the hotel vary in size. The balcony room are just great. It is a hotel, in which one of two so-called service point throughout the day, complimentary hot drinks and soups can be taken. In so-called 'living room' of the house you sit comfortably with a glass of wine, beer, and other beverages throughout the afternoon and evening chat or play. The terrace is very nice to relax. The staff is friendly, courteous and always ... willing to help. The rooms vary in size, nicely decorated and very clean. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The proximity to the beautiful sandy beach of Egmond and its proximity to the town are positive to mention. A comfortable hotel for feeling well. In Egmond aan Zee, we will in the future more live anywhere else. read more

We were very warmly received. The house is run by a very nice family run. We were there with our five year old son, felt the very well. Children are welcome. Lighthouse (to see) and the beach are right outside the door. As soon as you have checked in, there was a Parkviniette. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. In the house can stay many German regular guests. read more

The hotel is in a perfect postion toward the center and to the beach. We had a balcony room and even got a part of the North Sea through which we could see. The room is very well equipped and everything was clean. The breakfast buffet includes a wide choice. We didn't miss anything. read more

We had last minute trip to this break and were happy to have decided to get a room. So we were about the size and furnishing of the room pleasantly surprised. Even though we didn't have got balcony room, we had a small patio to the inner court with seating and especially the possibility our smoking needs. The entire hotel is "non smoking", it is great, but it was still as a smoking possibility of the balconies and the covered terraces to smoke. The room #6 was well equipped and in good condition. The shower + WC were relatively new ..., small, but sufficient (lots of counter space for cosmetics). The room was a huge flat-screen TV. The minibar could be filled with drinks choice (the drinks were in a fridge in the hallway and everybody said on a block, which he has taken - very trustworthy! ). The breakfast was very rich (crispy rolls there were also) and it could also be ordered dishes from the menu (scrambled eggs, toast, etc. ), The then freshly prepared - without extra charge. The smaller breakfast room was open until 11pm (books as a lounge/newspapers and games were available). The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back. read more
