The hotel has 500 rooms. We were in the premium area. The room was clean. Except for the pillows. They should thoroughly cleaned. The premium has wireless internet through internet hotspot dunes front desk. Or near the front desk and above in the main restaurant. If one premium booked, gets one for the beach free edition. Once a week you can à la carte food. There are 95% south america since. Most venezueler. We were the einzigeen german. The beach is long and wide. There were enough beach chairs and places in the shade. You don't need to reserve loungers. read hotel review

    There was a modern flat screen tv. But, no german program. There was also a minibar. But, never filled. The balcony door could not be locked. The air conditioner should be cleaned!

    3 restaurants and 4 bars. The best restaurant is the à la carte. Unfortunately you could only time per week as reserve. In premuimbereich, each meal, even if he premium not booked. Therefore too many guests. The guests come for breakfast in my pjs food. The refill at the buffet took very long. There is very little choice. The atmosphere is from the morning until the evening or in the night until 4 hours drinking and noise.

    We spent a week in butter in the restaurant waited. In the room was the telephone line right from the first day dead. They brought with them 3 new telfone.     It is not far to the beach. One goes through the area in the pool area. Desk delte /canaima are only on english and very expensive. The two day excursion costs per person 390, - €. The airport porlamar runs manca. 30 minutes

The hotel would have been in Germany less stars as it in Venezuela has, but that should be expected, if you are in such countries. The hotel is fairly distributed, so a bus the premium to the main hotel and to the beach goes. On foot it was about 5 minutes. Wi-fi in the main hotel and in the premium area. In the hotel you will find mainly south american tourists and canadians. Alone a somewhat outdated hotel. read hotel review

    We had a room in the premium range booked. The room was very small but clean. The laundry was every day changed and also otherwise attention to everything. Against a small tip put the maids nodding ☺

    The ' à-la-carte-restaurant ' is recommendable. The selection of food in the other three restaurants was unfortunately somewhat poor. Unfortunately, there was too few fruit however therefor a wide selection of desserts.

    The service is very good. The employees are friendly and every request of the guests concerned. They spoke mainly spanish, whereby the employees the front desk very well english and partly also spoke german. The restaurant staff speaks rather broken english but understand definitely what you would like. Complaints were always polite taken

    The hotel offers a very good entertainment, you could its full ability to fill. Evening entertainment was unfortunately only in spanish, which however not was so bad, since it mainly shows was. The disco we didn't use, as it's a bit stinking... At the beach and at the pool were always enough chairs available. But we would the pools the main hotel not recommend, since this unfortunately very dirty. Is better the pool in the premium area.

    The beach is really fantastic. The sea is very warm but unfortunately there are often very high waves, so that it for children is totally unsuitable. The next airport is located in porlamar (about 20 minutes ) by car, there one has also the best shopping on the island. At night it is however very dangerous and we were advised against after 18 o'clock to leave the hotel, that is why we have not done. Otherwise you'll get the most of it in Juan griego (about 10 minutes). From the hotel you have the possibility to a taxi to take, there is always some cards the front desk. As well as buses and you could also a rental car rent.

The hotel has a nice, large area. The shuttle bus from the premium range to the front desk constantly drives (maximum wait about 5 minutes, but mostly less). The rooms had flaws, after (easy) room change. These were for us but acceptable. The cleanliness was okay. The main building with reception, bar, stay and restaurant needs a renovation; the cleanliness in the bar and the restaurant much to be desired. In the premium range is another restaurant, this is clean and the food is good. The choice-as usual-not the biggest, but you could always find something delicious. Otherwise there was ... just fresh pasta. The food was mostly cool, if you at the table was (maybe because of the strong air conditioning?), but to it one gets accustomed. The beach was not really clean, but the food was also good. The beach is great and clean. The swim in the sea was somewhat limited, since we strong waves had (more for ' romp ', but not for infants). The entertainment (theater) is in spanish. Otherwise still the disco. Billiards, table tennis of course you could also play, cinema there are also (in spanish). At the bars is unfortunately no music in the evening, except for karaoke (monday, wednesday And friday, if i remember correctly). You should definitely go on excursions, when it comes 14 days didn't get bored. Delta canaima (TUI) is worthwhile definitely! The Jeep Safari as an island tour was also great. Shopping you could easily in the shopping center sambil (the best by taxi and time for return mind, only on the return trip to pay for). For three stars the hotel i would recommend. Some providers have this 4 stars. If you 4, should pick another hotel. read hotel review

This hotel i can only my enemies recommend! The worst hotel from all 5 continents i have ever stayed in. The normal rooms same a prison cell, so the premium area book, if at all, and then into another hotel drag. I am every year in Venezuela! That was probably my last year in the dunes! I had a room in the premium area and was horrified. The bathroom was totally verkeimt and moldy, the mountings filthy and very dirty and furred up. The balcony dirty with bird droppings from 3 years, the closets have mildew smell and one night had i even a huge bat in the room. They had way through deckenklappen in the bathroom, however only and not again. The food is totally bad and as a lone traveler european single woman ( middle age) from the serving ... staff in the restaurants gladly and often overlooked. The country, i will visit again, but not the hotel. read hotel review

    Our room was great, but it should also a lot of bad with mold. If we which would have had, would undoubtedly have Patricia from our travel agent immediately cared about it. It was very simply furnished and rather more small than large.

    We had all-inclusive and so everything was free. From the morning until the evening there were drinks at the bars. For drinks is therefore always provided. There are 2 large main restaurant. In one there in the morning and in the evening to meals and in the afternoon at the beach in the restaurant. The abendspeisen have more variety can be. It everything was great only the, that special something was missing. The kitchen style i would than south american /USA/german associate.

    I rate the service rather behavior, since one in the hotel hardly any english, let alone german, get farther. It is only spoke spanish. We have a handful of staff found the great english. It was with hands and feet rules, since the staff although predominantly friendly and helpful. We had reserved over the tour operator its booked and had Patricia as reiseleiteiterin. She speaks perfect german. It is really great and took care of everything. You cared for but still other tour operators and not only its. Rooms were partly not really well cleaned. What the country is missing is in general cleanliness. You have to get there first totally move and not expect, that the find german thoroughness. However, it was in all absolutely okay.

    Entertainment was available, but unfortunately in spanish. An entertainer could perfect english by the pool. So you could even if you want to take part. The evening shows also mostly with spanish entertainment. The hotel has mostly local as guests and less germans. It has a small kiosk in the hotel, where one gets nearly everything. Internet access is available and, and free wi-fi. In the hotel there are a lot of chairs and also at the beach, so that one always somewhere a place gets. The beach is really unique. Palm trees, light blue water and nice sand. But also here it is unfortunately partially not clean, since many of their plastic cups leave, although trash can are available. But mostly guests from Venezuela are available, you can also take the cleanliness even think. Otherwise is the pool, as well as the beach overall clean the water. At the beach there are a lot of beach vendors but with a 'no' quickly gone.

    The hotel-own beach is in a few steps away from the large pool, where everything mostly happens, as the entertainment, as well as evening shows. We were lucky and had our room right next to the main area, where we all quickly reach could. The premium rooms are however at the end the hotel, wherever a private shuttle bus runs. Shopping or entertainment possibilities are just by cab or bus to the sambil mall to reach. You can go shopping on the beautiful island, but most of the prices like here in Germany, i would have liked for my taste had expected more and hoped for.

    There was a restaurant in the premium area which a bahnhfshalle right. The restaurant above the front desk was so far ok. Although the food not the straight hit was. The only bright spot was the beach restaurant, it was friendliness and service very big written. And the dishes there were delicious.

    The shuttle from the airport took about 20 minutes. There were purchase possibilities enough, however therefor you had to in a taxi. Excursion possibilities were in the hotel also offered, but we have our tours with Jürgen of robe tours, the just amazing were. Hotel lies directly at the beach, unless you live in the premium sector as we, then you have to 15 minutes walk, but on the complex runs also every 10 minutes a small shuttle service.

Stay in the dunes was great. The staff were always friendly. Since it was our honeymoon was, we got as small attention a bottle of champagne to the room. One may here only never forget, that a vacation in South America with a in Egypt or Turkey comparable is: massive, lush buffet, where you don't know what you should take, you couldn't find. Nevertheless the food was always delicious and adequate! The hotel area was huge. Really big pool area, the always clean held, a large children's playground, the contemporary and waited to, as well as several Tennis-, Basketball and ... football fields. Furthermore is a large park with a small lake available, the but unfortunately straight in the change and was therefore not be entered could. The hotel was directly at the beach, the was never overcrowded. That could however also due to the fact, that rainy season was (with us there was only 3 times rained) and the hotel not fully booked. I would the vacation so rather than individual tourism designate, as for example not a hotel complex at the next is available. read hotel review

That the hotel is so bad, is not the fault of the Insel Margarita. The outside area with lawns, palm trees and bushes is beautifully designed. Our room would be also so far been fine, if it wasn't the door to the neighboring room would have given and not suddenly stranger people at our bed confessed would be. We complained to our travel guide, but he was no other room give. Dining room, food, pool and loungers was reasonably appropriate. An island tour, Mangroventour and the 2 days with the boat we with Jürgen ( Robe tours) made. The tours ... with Jürgen were amazing and we can this only recommend, there is the quality and the price. Great vacation with drawbacks but Fix left. Beautiful but very windy, room of not all nice, however, you can change. Staff friendly however sometimes they just need a little longer. There were many locals in the hotel, but life to the hotel brought: TUI tour operator Andreas very friendly, competent and ready to help. Under a beautiful beach hotel you understand something else.     The number of restaurants is adequate, the bars however not. The gastronomy was monotonous, unimaginative and was without any imagination presented (was always the same).     The hotel lies directly at a beautiful sandy beach, the only times cleaned needs. Purchase- and entertainment possibilities are just a few available and if then only in the hotel. For shopping or to the entertainment is pool recommendable, which one with the taxi in 45 minutes. Although we in the premium were, we had the feeling, there is nothing worse. The room was very stinking, bed sheets had strange unpleasant odor from moisture, on the pillow I could because of the stench not sleep. This hotel is not a four stars standard, rather 2 or three stars standard. This also from the guide confirmed. The complex is very big. There is a shuttle bus bus, you can however also good on foot the complex explore. There is a premium range, the corresponded to the three stars standard. The complex is very worn, needs urgently be renovated. The hot water is brown, should be fixed, is however in the 14 days we were there, not happening. The staff are nothing special friendly to German, rather South Americans. Tip is however very gladly taken. There are ... two bars, the more very small are. This complex is however the best isla Margarita, like us from other was confirmed. In the other hotels on the island should catastrophic proportions prevail.
