Urlaubsbericht Pattaya Thailand hotel Loma & spa As every year since 2003 we were again in June in the Loma & spa hotel in Pattaya Thailand. We were actually, with a few downsides, very satisfied. But this time everything was completely different. The hotel is economically totally run down, the bathroom the water in the washbasin not more properly and it dripped on the floor in the bathroom. The bathtub we did only once with cleaning fluid which we best supermarket concerned had to be cleaned. The bathroom door is through putrefied and the room is in a desolate state. ... The color on the walls peeling paint, large an decorate the ceiling. The staff are if it does not regularly be tip got very rude and arrogant. On the balcony in every room you can go swimming, because the condensation water the air conditioning no longer works. Constant construction noises from morning 07:00 A. M. until late in the night 01:00 A. M. leaves a relaxation in no way to. German and Russians flog themselves do in the morning already the loungers under the trees, as almost no sun screens more are available. For breakfast it is not much better, for the morning coffee there are milk with vanilla flavor so the coffee not enjoyable will. By the constant Turnover of in the hotel take place this poor trained and very slow if you are at all times from German and English you have no idea except when there are banknotes as tip get. We could ellenlang further abuses enumerate what the framework here would go beyond. But one thing is certain, this hotel in the most beautiful complex in Pattaya you could not tourist entrust and therefore not recommend. It is a shame what you within a year from a hotel can make. For Thai proportions is this hotel completely okay. You are not allowed for the stars expectations not too high screw. But we had 3 weeks a great vacation spent. But more and more Russians there buzzed in, thus, the breakfast a bit reduced. No wonder, the Russians grasping with full hands to...! As it already in other countries is known. In short: nevertheless is the staff nice, friendly and the complex is relatively quiet. Price-performance is full reasonable. One can only hope the the rooms updating, otherwise the guests sometime. ☺ read hotel review

beautiful quiet area. i thought it was clean and I am very picky. Certainly not German standard but I always say other Countries other Customs ☺. there were many older German couples since. Also when the Russians was this hotel likes to however say, that no disturbing was. On the contrary. I have already experienced differently but here they were informal and friendly and especially quiet. read hotel review

    there's a restaurant. The breakfast is in buffet form and I must say it was adequate... As soon as something was empty, it was immediately filled. there was always salads, fresh fruit, sausage and also warm food, juice, coffee and tea Even the drink prices in the hotel are absolutely acceptable. Also in the minibar. For example coke 40 Baht that is 1 euro. Coffee and tea in the room is free from, as well as 2 bottles of water and a kettle.

    I have to sayeven if no one understands the desires but fulfilled. English is hardly spoken. German certainly not. the rooms were every day thoroughly cleaned. Every day there was new towels. The cleaning maids are very attentive. They gave me every day more coffee ones, as they had seen, I additional what bought had.

    the beach was unfortunately not from the hotel but relatively fast on foot or with the hotel trolley easy to reach. one is 5 minutes to the main street run one had hustle and shopping and bars without end. For myself what the loud in the streets took some getting used to. More so, I have the peace in the hotel enjoyed.

We have already been the 5. time in the loma and the last time. Room is not bad, but run-down, the cleaning ladies do a good job, but also they cannot conjure up on the old furniture. We had booked accommodation with breakfast, but the wrinkles. Juices are a artificial powder with water nibbled, didn't taste. Eggs will be cold from of the kitchen, taste also not. Fruit is always the same, melons and pineapple. When we were there, there were two german persons in the hotel and we were two, otherwise only russians. Nothing against russians, but you can't ... communicate. But the worst is, at the buffet the plates packed full to the brim loaded, a, twice that rumgestochert and stand left. Then one does not need to be surprised, that the buffets always miserable are. The hoteliers see also, that almost all land in the trash. Very nice quiet hotel in guterb location. Perfect for excursions into the north. An oasis of tranquillity in the middle of pattaya plenty of cheap restaurants and shops nearby. Food from 35 Baht recommendable read hotel review

A quiet (in our travel time august) almost no guests only day trippers from China, a few german and a few russians. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Bed linen and towels were changed daily. Daily 2 bottles of water and nescafe and tea free of charge in the room. Kettle were available. Our room ( 501) 2 floor had a beautiful view of the pool. The beach jomtien is about 500 meters away however not recommendable. Also Pattaya beach with the taxi in 5 minutes ( 10 Bhat per person = 25 cents) is not the straight cleanest. However ... you can bathe. Endless many beach chairs (2 chairs with umbrella cost for the day 60 Bhat = circa 1,50 Euro) Meal possibilities there are all few meters, you need only from the hotel raud the road down and then it goes already loosely, hundreds of local. A dish with rice are already from 35 Bhat=85 cent Cola from 15 Bhat=37 cents and in a restaurant ☺. Average costs a meal no matter wether crabs lobster pork. Circa 140 Bhat=3,40 Euro. T-shirts of Versace (original ☺ etc. Cost circa 150 Bhat =3,65 Euro. Walking street can be reached in 5 minutes with the bus, hundreds of local with thousands of women! ( the night to 1000 Bhat) Excursions could be booked everywhere gives each quantity of travel agents or so stalls where you cheap bay than with the tour operator. Comparison: river kwai 2 days one night including full board cost Alltours 3500 Bhat at a local organizer ( chalom travel, just around the corner from the hotel) only 2925 Bhat. Look elsewhere is worthwhile so. And the operator are reliable. Who a beach vacation plans should however to koh samui or phuket. For excursions in the north, such as river kwai Cha Am golden triangle and Bangkok is however Pattaya ideal. Conclusion: a great vacation in a nice hotel with good access to the s Attractions. The Loma hotel is the sister hotel of sunshine garden and Green park Hotel. In this hotel the first time, but the friendliness of the staff surprised positive. The hotel is located in a quiet area in the SOI 18 or SOI Wongamath location. The rooms are in a better condition than in my hotel 'sunshine garden' at the roundabout. The pool is curved and in the hot season shade. The restaurant offers a good cuisine and is open from 07:00 o 'clock-10:00 o' clock. The staff at the front desk on request assistance. The only downside were ... about 5-10 minutes duration to naklua road, where the bustling at all ☺ Is the Commission's peace, as well as the proximity to the beach Wongamath. In July 2011 were two German families from Grandma to grandchildren in the hotel, as well as Russian, Indian, Vietnamese, Thai and Australians in the hotel, all behaved properly, no sign of disturbance ☺ I had the room 208 and was completely satisfied. The location of the hotel in the large garden is very nice. If you return from the noisy streets of Pattaya, it is like an oasis of silence. Unfortunately, the hotel was in need of a renovation. The paint absolutely needs to be renewed. And the bathroom is moldy in some places. To a few positive exceptions, the staff in the restaurant gave the impression that they weren't in the mood for their job. In the evening, we were often served our Mai-Thai by waiters with grimy faces. The garden is very well maintained and just beautiful. It would be ... a shame if the hotel wouldn't get no more guests due to its bad condition and unmotivated staff. The location was very good. read hotel review

    leisure offers in the hotel does not exist, except SpA. Is very nice & they are very friendly! Quality of the water in the pool is very bad. Water milky & the edges 10 centimeters. Highly dirt. And why? We did shower, from oil& sweat freed, what the guests from the Balkans not deeds. Hotel management must definitely the loungers & umbrellas renew. water at the beach: oh well, I will not go into it. Otherwise everything is there what wishes.

We were already very often in Loma hotel but unfortunately has everything sover schlechtert, actually a pity. Otherwise it is well located, quiet and at the same time, also in the vicinity of shops, pubs, bars, etc. The staff is nice but just not motivated, as it now Also many russians is booked and were also not nice to the The Thais. The only really what remains the same is the massage and SPA area, the ladies were always friendly. The swimming pool and the garden are, of course, also beautiful. Most of the room have a large balcony to ... the garden, the What is already worth, since the pool in the morning to 7:00 a.m. often you can at least there are occupied suns. The beach is not really beautiful Wong- Amat, it was best if you drove to Beach road or further out. Unfortunately I am sceptical if I return the hotel. read hotel review

Service not in order. Staff in the restaurant slow and reluctant. The breakfast buffet not in order. not a good quality. not very varied. not even boiled eggs available, could only be booked additionally. rather impudently if you bear in mind that one Baht 250 for a breakfast requires read hotel review

Also we were positive surprised this year from the Loma resort... The friendliness... The cleanliness of the room, as well as the Dinner... Everything in the usual pleasant way. Another reason for us at the end of 2010 once again to go on holiday here. read hotel review

It is a hotel promises a lot from the nature very, very quiet location absolutely perfect to relax. Not to forget it is a hotel own massage therapist inside simply class. This is certainly not my last stay at hotel diesn be. read hotel review

The pool is a disaster, it is full of dirt, the bathroom in the rooms as well. Mold on the tiles, long black hair on the floor and in the shower, toilet broken was cleaned but also not repaired let us even with sagrotan, in addition, otherwise we would have been caught. what us nor was the breakfast was paltry and if something was empty, it was refilled. not again after the breakfast was the sugar in a together buckets and on the next day again on the table, with the same fie game milk devil, from hygiene the have ... never heard. what is the staff not speaking english and we were lazy. four years ago there's a pity, as you can a hotel so run down. it is all bad except for the price. read hotel review

We were already often (5 times) in the Loma resort and are always surprised again from the pleasant peace. Also the staff is friendly and helpful. The gastronomy and the breakfast were OK. The cleanliness is also OK with the relevant staff if you> friendly! <talking about everything worked! All in all we always again gladly seen here... And this was certainly not the last time. Surely one can suspend at all something... But the safety is also with more than enough in Germany. read hotel review
