We were one week in the hotel and were due to the reviews rather neutral set, but we were more than positive surprised. At a saturday landed and the people from the reception had this arrogance at the check-in mood, as you otherwise only from the best munich clubs knows. So we were served! But the leaf should the next morning already apply. Of friendliness and naturalness of personalks surprised, great advice, yes they have insanely good care of us and were very curious. Had a bombenwoche. For us it is clear, during the next los angeles trip again the ... standard to book. Not in the hotel's garage, but the nachbargarage parked. Opposite in the untergschoss plenty of food option and if you are around the block, you found very good snacks or directly opposite a great restaurant. darts, good beer and great food. Stayed halloween above on the roof, overpriced drinks and freaks but in the middle of a super atmosphere, great view and pleasant staff. read more

Very stylish city hotel, this however also very uncomfortable.
We could just for one night recommend-also the area invites you not to longer stay a.
Supposedly generally the nicest and best bar (in the case of rooftop bar ) in the area!
Received us with plastikgras and -plants equipped ' beer garden' with German beer and sausages. Oh god. So bad! The bar was with a very strange crowd of people crowded. And invited not to a abschlussgetränk a.
Only the blue lit pool and the skyline in the background was a view worth it. More hotel guests but would ... have pleasant!
Besides that very expensive - especially parking. Best no valet parking available. But unfortunately is a the car yes almost 'from the hand' torn.
Tip: from Germany from another hotel book. In the price category there are enough choice. Only locally it's more expensive! read more

The hotel is a somewhat better hostel, not more. On the first glance right freakig, but with the closer look but some faults. For example the showering armature is I think every moment. Hole in the washbasin. We always in the underground garage confessed. We were during the day by car on the way, but they wanted to evenings short showers, if one for one hour the full nightly rate on (10 $) are charged. And if you evenings to bed wanted again 10 $. Once we could then for 6 $the car for an hour in the valet parking ... when you leave. On the next day it went again not more, because it is too late. You could also not a morning sleep or by the pool chill out, because the nightly rate on only until 10:00 o'clock goes. But unfortunately you are in La at a car directed, and I not possibly find it the people in such a way abzuzocken. read more

Right in downtown located hotel, perfect for La view
We stayed in downtown relatively little done, but from the hotel from the whole town explored.
A highlight is the bar and the pool in the 12 floors, surrounded from skyscrapers the US metropolis.
German beer garden in skyscrapers las. A must if you in the hotel lives (for hotel guests is a visit to the bar and beer garden free, all other zahlenb 10$ ).
The rooms are uniquely, the glazed shower is a highlight.
The high parking fees from 33$ a night you can bypass. Directly next to the ... hotel parking is a garage in de for 10 $parking (between 18 hours and 10 hours ) read more

The LA standard downtown was made clear to us guide the coolest Hangout (whatever the means) near downtown advertised. The hotel is 60 's style decor, including the uniforms of the staff. The rooms are spacious and very modern decor. A highlight was the nightclub with a small pool on the roof. The rates were reasonable (15 dollars for a beer), but as the entrance is free for the guest, you should plan a visit (after dark, it's most beautiful) read more

The hotel is especially for young guests. The lounge and bar on the top floor seemed to be very well used. A complimentary visit guests are possible. Valet parking and taxi service available. The food and mini-bar prices seemed very expensive. read more

in the end our trip we were two days at the standard downtown la former. The hotel is from beginning to end has its own style. The front desk service was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was good, plentiful and had a reasonable price. Public means of transportation in la almost no available. By car you need about 25 minutes from hollywood and beverly hills, about as long to the airport. Unfortunately parking spaces in downtown scarce and the parking costs per day $30 US. If all rooms as we were, you should go as a couple or on your ... own, because between the shower and the bedroom is the wall glazed(No frosted glass). The Toilet is however separated again. For a city or a business trip, the hotel is great, as a vacation place to relax you should choose a different hotel. read more

Great city hotel in the middle of downtown los angeles, this hotel in the end of our three-week california trip four nights. The first impression was' wow '. Great Design Hotel. It had chosen by Marco polo guide book. Had the eighth floor a standard room with king Bed. Facilities was really great. Here you can not complain. The roof was really upsetting the hotel. Every evening, there is a dj. The food (dinner) was good. At the weekends on the roof terrace is a nightclub, but as a guest you can free applications. Staff was not necessarily the top ... services come.
Unfortunately there are also a major restriction in this hotel: the paper thin walls-you get with what the neighbors and the street noise from six o'clock in the morning you get to (especially under week-rush hour). read more

Hotel is in the business district of downtown, but if you have a car, it is all the same.
Rooms are very modern with a glass wall to the bathroom, but a separate toilet.
On the roof terrace a great bar and you can look out over the city. Great View.

It really is a great design hotel and we'have actually felt comfortable, unfortunately, in downtown los angeles not very busy, so that we often to beverly hills and hollywood are risks. Next time we would book a hotel.
Unfortunately, there was a negative incident, the us stay the standard downtown has somewhat soured. It was Saturday and we wanted to relax by the pool. It was unfortunately impossible, as the pool is accessible to everyone. There was a separate area for guests, so we had to somewhere between squeeze (chairs, relaxing and pool visit (everyone had to do his feet ... in it) was unfortunately not possible). Furthermore, we were not let in or we should entrance beds, if we had a 'small band'. The for guests but at the entrance of the hotel. So we had to on the top floor with all our gear up to the entrance (outside) of the hotel, in order to get a wristband. Even that was not enough, so we were sent away again. At the front desk we were treated very rude.
Sad, that in such a welcoming country the staff in this hotel, unfortunately seems to be an exception. read more

The view from the roof terrace is great, but everyone has access, so we never on the Saturday afternoon a space. Also we had to double and triple than guests were first photo ID twice and sent away, as a "private party" at a hotel-rooftop standfand. We had an unpleasant argument with the staff at the front desk. Absolutely not helpful and felt reconsider, since they are not native speakers talking. The design can be lovely as it wishes (looked but a bit "Well situated", not 100 % more contemporary, although just opened), but it's in, I would not sleep. ... In downtown LA is not too busy to get to Hollywood and Beverly Hills you can travel approximately 20 - 30 minutes. So go for an. read more
