We had a suite. 2 rooms with hallway and bath, with a large Balcony and the 'kitchenette'. 46 square meter. Minibar, air conditioning Warm/cold. Coffee maker Flat screen tv's in every room. The furniture had no Wear phenomena. The beds- exceptional. The bathroom: relatively small, but very well maintained. Overall: very good

Only dining room use. Everywhere absolute cleanliness. The food selection was not very big, but of excellent quality. Evenings changing themenbüfett's. By the very good service pleasant atmosphere. The drink prices were moderate. Tips are gästeangelegenheit.

We traveled a lot. A similar service we have so far Hardly experienced. Always friendly, good communication, specialist Can (serve) very good. Reception : for example air-conditioning too cold complained. Immediate repair and servicing of demand, if okay. Very good

Immediate proximity to the beach. Access to the beach: 162 good to Catchy steps. Public transportation, since rental car, Didn't use it. The location of the hotel is hardly any to exceed.

Because we a big room with a direct view of the sea had booked, no wishes are left unfulfilled. The view from the balcony on the rocks and the sea is breathtaking. From sunrise until 14 o'clock sun. The beds were each 1.10 meters wide and very comfortable. The best but for us was the blanket. They had a white right sheets, so you don't like all other hotels in portugal and spain in the morning in a scratchy often used blanket woke up. This alone is a reason, this hotel definitely again to visit. The standard -rooms have almost all no sun. The rooms with a partial view of the sea in the (in the winter very quiet) street on the upper floors. From noon sun until sunset.

Yes, the gastronomy. Since only a handful of guests in the first days in the hotel was, there was understandably in the evening no big buffet, but before and dessert buffet, which all needs covered and more than enough was, and as a main entrance menu. The changed from christmas eve. On first christmas day, there was a wonderful christmas buffet, the very festive was, including wine and water. The breakfast buffet corresponded to the 4 stars standard. There was a lot of fresh fruits, warm dishes and also otherwise everything your heart desires, also sparkling wine, if you and as much one would like. Very excellent is the sunny covered terrace, on which one with a view of the pool on the sea outside its breakfast. Great.

Although few guests in december were there, was a large number of staff available. We were right very friendly at the front desk welcomes. A coworker spoke excellent german. Also in the restaurant was the kindness and professionalism excellent. We felt really comfortable. Especially thanks to our very nice waiter Luis dias. We had no complaints.

Sport was offered. We didn't use. The bar is extremely comfortable. Unfortunately it was-except for the champagne to the director on christmas day-every evening male waiter however didn't seem empty. The live music most nights was but also so, that even with a full hotel there were hardly any guests come would be.

The Porto Bay Falesia was already described in detail. We knew it from previous stays (as Riu-hotel) and wanted to this year christmas once there. We know lots of hotels at the Algarve, but this had the most beautiful location. The garden is beautiful and has a corner, from the you a great view on the entire beach has. But you should consider, that there are a lot of steps walk down must, the circa 6 kilometer long Falesia-beach with breathtaking cliffs to reach. Mitte december the hotel was as good as empty. The first surprise we have the peace and quiet - also in the food good. Only the christmas came more guests.

It is located in the town three large hotels, but the huge (a large block of Riu) in the winter is closed and therefore absolute peace. The small village olhos is 10 minutes away, and the small harbor with small local beach can one outside a drink and food with sea view. In the winter have lots of shops and restaurants were closed. But who only breakfast bay, find 2-3 good restaurants in the place. 2 larger supermarkets are 10 minutes on foot away. Albufeira is reachable by bus. The runs but not often. For nature lovers is however the beach and the cliffs can only be recommended.

Large double bed, closet with enough space, sitting area, bath, balcony, mini bar and a water kettle with free coffee and tea. A couples german tv programs. As usual noisy, which doesn't matter, if only every 3. rooms occupied (november). A few scuff marks on the doors, nothing serious. We had room 538, that is on the top floor at the corner between wing and main building, on the north-west-side direction sea. Sea view is not to be found (which was also not booked). Instead you will have a look on the (closed ) RIU Guarana. We had because of the the choice of sea view or half board. We had the half board. The ocean view is great, but we had no desire, every evening something edible to check availability.

Breakfast: from 'english' on sparkling wine to fresh bread to fruit was everything available. Tortilla, pancakes, cereal, cucumbers... The cheese selection is with 2 sorts of cheese for our taste as always somewhat narrow, the sausage you have to like. The juices out of the machines can you be better. The coffee is good and hot. And even the november you can when the sun shines have breakfast outside. Dinner at the buffet: the food was good and tasty, seemed but unfortunately somewhat unimaginative. Every evening was another issue of the series, from the portuguese buffet for italian evening the 'international buffet'. A bit too much salt, and in almost all (even the noodles) are onions. The around approves again-also fresh bread, sweets for dessert, salad. The restaurant was clearly only at half strength (more was also not necessary), perhaps the quality in the summer better. The pool bar is very expensive. A freshly squeezed orange juice costs 4,50 Euro for comparison: you get 'outside' at this time of the year 3 networks oranges or 2-3 identical juices in a bar. Food not 10 Euro. Otherwise, as described above : cleanliness and friendliness very good. Now in november were maybe 30 tables set. Accordingly quiet it went too, no crowd and crowded at the buffet.

From the front desk on the waiters, the chambermaid to the check-out : all of the staff were friendly and accommodating, so that we were very comfortable. Especially our cleaning lady every day a small happiness and the bed nicely decorated. Thank you very much, elizabete! (of course was also the room thoroughly cleaned.) Some employees speak german, otherwise english was useful. Wi-fi and internet was unfortunately only for a fee (2 Euro/30 minutes). A shame, but lots of pubs offer free wi-fi. Otherwise buy a pre paid card. At the front desk you can after a bag scales questions.

Pool: water too cold for swimming. Nice spa area, but not used. In the sunshine, it was warm enough to sunbathe. But the beautiful beach chairs on the terrace already cleared. The beach is great-fine sand, many shells, great colours. The sea is not so cold, as one might imagine. Still do only crazy into the water...

We were middle november for 6 days in this hotel. That is clear low season - lots of hotels have closed, large groups does not exist, the hotel accordingly not fully booked. The state of the hotel and the hotel is very good, the room decor is well maintained and very clean. We booked half board, breakfast from 7:30 until 10:30 and dinner from 18:30 until 21:30. At this time of the year you will meet especially seniors and older couples, but also a few families with small children and young couples. Especially british and german, also dutch and french. All very pleasant and relaxed. Car park right on the hotel, at this time of the year not a problem and free of charge.

Who this part of the Algarve visited, know, that there is a steep coast and you to the beach stairs must take. Who a car has, can a few kilometer after east drive, behind the pine cliff resort is a short flight of stairs. In ohlos d'agua itself there were restaurants, shops and bars, which one also on foot reached. In Albufeira there are more of them, the is on foot but too far. The supermarket of the hotel was closed.

The rooms are comfortable furnished, not old-fashioned, not ultramodern. Average size in the standard rooms, adequate, the bathroom as well with tub and shower curtain. The best is the balcony, unless you have a room with sea view.

The breakfast buffet is always the same, but through the quantity you can also alternate. There is sparkling wine so you want. The dinner was from the quantity alright, of the quality it was staggering. The freshly fried fish was mostly good, only sometimes' dead '. %blank% for breakfast like for dinner there was always fresh, cut fruit. Overall you had to especially in the evening try everything, there was always things, the good, but also always a lot less good quality (very greasy meat, strange sweet fillings for cakes, zerkochtes vegetable). But also very delicious things.

Everybody was always friendly and accommodating. We had no complaints. We got of course help, because our luggage not arrived and because the address of mietwagenverleihs in Albufeira, the front desk has much for us phone. The waiters were sometimes almost too polite.

Animation did not give it, only in the evening live music, which we cannot rate. Beach and pool very nice, but in november for not absolutely hard gesottene people too cold. Also a nice indoor swimming pool with pleasant temperature, jacuzzi, two small saunas, everything free of charge.

The hotel makes overall a good impression, rather modern and tastefully. We had the half board. Guest structure from the age and nationalities mixed, many germans, lots of pensioners at the time. Hardly any children. Very nice seats in the open.

The location is from the view wise very nice. We had a room on the top floor (5. floor), unfortunately one can see from this amount from the circa 8 kilometer away 'skyline' from the rather ugly villamoura ca/ quartera. Otherwise really beautiful sea and klippenblick. In 5-10 minutes one is in olhos de agua, also in 5 minutes at the beach on the much described stairs and a very much washed away. With the way back it was already very nice high. So nothing in order in the evening still a quick beach walk. A promenade does not exist.

The recommended superior -room is spacious with seating area and tastefully decorated, large double bed with good mattresses and a direct ocean view, pleasantly also the coffee maker, the mini bar and the small clothes line on the balcony, and a silent, geruchsfreie, individually adjustable air conditioning. Tv with german programs. Room and bathroom is only slightly worn, everything was in a clean condition.

A large restaurant and two adjacent terraces with properly set tables offers space for the meals. The breakfast buffet is on german habits for breakfast and very varied, the coffee for southern standards, alright. Everything looks clean and hygenic, even if the scrambled eggs from the package comes. (these packaging should be first perhaps already in the kücche.). The evening buffet is on the first glance also very extensive and appetizing. The salad and dessert buffet is very good. For starters, fish and meat but lack of good quality and professional preparation.

The staff is friendly and speaks english, some also somewhat german, daily cleaning of the rooms and changing. For my birthday there was a particular surprise of the hotel in the cold bucket a bottle sparkling wine in the room.

Free time activities and entertainment for adults and children, little, but what we found as positive, as it is the peace and quiet on the complex better guarantees. Some evening entertainment with partial live music is in the hotel bar offered, which the guests in the room not good. The well-kept garden area with a large fresh water swimming pool, enough sunbeds and umbrellas also in the adjacent garden, a bar with food and magnificent view over the sea leaves nothing to be desired. A heated indoor swimming pool (for our stay in october) by us before breakfast gladly used.

Hotel in an upscale ambience with 350 rooms in a dreamlike location with well-kept garden and a large fresh water swimming pool. Booking with breakfast, half or full board bookable. Guests mostly english, beenelux countries and middle aged germans, very peaceful atomsphere. (stay at the october)

5 kilometer long clean, at low tide and high tide varying sandy beach, lined with red more cleft steep coast, is right about 130 steps to reach. The cultivated coastal region is not visible. The small town centre of olhos d'agua with a small sand bay, restaurants and snack bars is 10 minutes on foot.

We had a partial sea view and peeked frontal on the sea and the two other Rio-hotels. But i would probably recommend sea view, the was certainly quieter. The other rooms are the parking lot, as goes time a bus or a car at night was.

There are two restaurants, the large buffet restaurant and a small italian restaurant. Both we have visited and as described above, for the buffet decided. The offer is rich, there's nothing left to ask for. Every morning sparkling wine for breakfast, there is not even in 5 star hotels. Yes, there is really only one type of ham for breakfast. But this is Portugal. There are thousands of other delicious things. The dinner is just as rich and diverse. You always find something delicious. My husband and i have at least increased.

The staff is super friendly and everyone speaks english, at the front desk was actually always someone, the german speaks. The cleaning of the rooms exemplary and blitzesauber. The whole complex did not have any corner, the unclean or rundown. It was always thoroughly cleaned.

Very nice pool area with chairs and parasols. The large garden with chairs and parasols. And the best: there is no reservers! You can at any time come and find their favorite spot. And the, although the hotel at 10 months every year is full.

The hotel is actually very big, but so well divided, that one the size don't realize. Everything was impeccably clean and attractive, more is really not. We had only booked overnight stay/breakfast and the half board at the owner's expanse, since we are not so a friend of half board are, but these offer pleased us so well, that we each evening again enjoyed. The older guests were clearly in the majority, although holidays in nrw were, were at the most 10 children go on. What we really appreciated! Our kids are already adults and we enjoy now the peace and quiet without children.

Such a gorgeous location there is probably only once at the Algarve. This view from the garden on the cliffs was more than amazing. Every morning and every evening look you from the terrace on the complex and the sea. You can not with words to describe.

Good and practically furnished; beds, in which you can sleep; balcony with seating facilities, in order in the evening still time to sit outside, air conditioning for the summer, minibar and coffee and tea facilities, safety deposit box, but you have to pay, telephone... The normal rooms aren't very big, but since not all days, completely okay. There is a desk and a small seating area in the room. The bathroom is with a bath, bidet, sink and toilet; floor dark tiles, wall tiles white.

A delicious breakfast buffet, which leaves nothing to be desired. Much fresh fruits, but also all variants of an english breakfast every day possible. Evening there was a thematic focus (portuguese, spanish, brazilian...) , a nationaltypical courts showed, but furthermore it always had fresh salad, many different varieties of vegetables and of course also a lot of fresh fish. Nevertheless come but also the meat on their costs. The dessert buffet says you only the best : very delicious... And not to the Waage at home think, simply only enjoy!

A small entertainment for the, who want to, not intrusive, not in the large style-who lot of emphasis on, is in the wrong place here. There were enough beach chairs, the pool was in october already somewhat cold, but you could still use. But there is a heated pool in the spa area available.

The hotel has although about 300 rooms, but probably looks altogether not so large. The hotel complex is very clean and well cared for. We had night with half board booked A rather mittelaltes to older crowd (perhaps because of the season ), many british people, but also german and dutch, a few a few russians.

Simply fantastic: a wonderful long sandy beach, by a staircase easy to reach is, a himmlischwer sea view, if ma room with a view of the sea has, lots of small corner with a view of the sea, the from the hotel lovingly furnished. You can at the beach (at ebb-tide) or practice pure stairs and a track on the cliffs (at high tide) in the small village of olhas d'aqua easily. For excursions there are enough possibilities by car or but also with the regular bus.
