Everything matched as the sun star catalog described, the services are clearly and honestly presented, the (positive) pre-reviews are hereby confirmed and the few negative i can invalidate : the single rooms are now with new, bright bathrooms renovated, i had at least 6 outlets found. The hosts are in the lobby, in the dining room always present... I think if the ch-sun star hotel concept like without concerns and surprises all the interesting places like lenzerheide, Arosa, davos, wengen, Zermatt, etc... Drive, 3 of which i even on my ' hotelcheck' list. read more

    My single room economy without a balcony, view of the firstbahn, you look the same, whether it is a good day on the slopes,... Good successful renovation of the bathroom, very bright, very practically, the yellow sun star duck in the bathroom shower floor was hopefully anyway to take particular... Everything fit wi-fi, the mini bar daily new and re-filled free of charge was very good...

    Great location in the glacier village of Grindelwald; fascinating geological history this, read the times briefly: until about 1850 were here the grindelgletscher to the tal, probably about before where today the hotel stands. Each skier from the short way over the street to firstgondelbahn be thrilled, in the evening après ski and strolls in the place. Good bus system for (winter) hikers, skiers, even for cross-country skiing and tobogganing/swiss' sschlitteln' on the male everything very easy to reach.

We have as a young couple times variety the usual new year's eve feasts and 5 days around the new year here. The hotel is great and the staff excellent! Very nice is also the ski area the sledding and lots of other make can. And the best: the elevator is on the other side of the street! The hotel offers also entertainment program on, but since we skier, we have only the hike involved on a quaint hut with cheese fondue has ended. At new year's eve there was also a beautiful event with singing and dance which we ... also younger guests dancing motivated has \u263a All together really only recommendable!     The hotel is in an optimal location, in the center of Grindelwald. We had a room with a view in the fascinating mountains of Grindelwald, fantastic! The mountains just around the corner. From the spa (relaxation room) has a lovely view. Around the hotel you will find all the shopping and to the train station it was about 5 minutes walk.

Perfect hotel location Everything on foot or with the inkludierten Jungfraupass by train reachable, the car could the whole week in the underground garage stand still The room and the pool with fantastic views of the mountains Eiger Every evening first-class 5-course menu ( half board is the current price level in Switzerland definitely recommendable) Pleasant also the down comforter and the waste disposal during our absence in the evening Always friendly staff in all service sections Free internet The duvets were for the midsummer it was too warm and the pillows somewhat too thin, but we didn't asked, apart ... from that we would certainly other Bedding. read more

We spend a few wonderful holidays in Griendelwald and sun star -hotel. The view from our balcony directly at the north face of the Eiger and the small glacier unique. The hotel with its spacious entrance hall, stay- haltsraum with piano -music in the evening for comfort a. Also the wellness area is recommendable, particularly the large pool with pleasant warm water we use daily. All together the hotel we can recommend to anyone. read more

We felt very much at ease - in Grindelwald altogether. Extremely beautiful mountain world, little traffic and large offer in the other environment, something something to do. We will be back! And gladly again the sun star, as long as we again a hotel choose. Centrally located and nevertheless calm, beautiful suite (four ) with a balcony and glacier views, plus free mini bar. For small children there are no games room and in the pool you can't-was for our however not a problem more. For large evenings beautiful bar. read more

I did not so with hotel chains-i have to work too often to stay the night. But here i was really angenehmst surprised. Extremely friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere! Then a for Switzerland Acceptable designated smoking area (a must-criterion for me!). I booked only overnight stay with breakfast, which as the place turned out to be, because in the à la carte restaurant you eat good! Only the room. Well, in the winter, you aren't too long. But the single room is already borderline! More than 5 days you can not bear-then you know that, where one his clothes to accommodate ... should. And for rd. 150 franc/night, i live from the suit-case! read more

We( family, 3 children) have a week in the hotel sun star spent. It was wonderful! The rooms are stylishly decorated, modernly furnished and large. The food is plentiful and of the best quality, the staff friendly and helpful, and you can of numerous possibilities the relaxation in the spa facilities benefit. The hotel is centrally located (the cable car station to the first is on the other side of the road) and has good equipped storage space for Skis. We had a junior suite direction south, with a view of the Eiger north face (3rd floor). Very quiet, spacious ..., with a modern equipped large bathroom. read more

Stayed at this hotel a lot of fun and will if possible next year come back. The good location and the ambiance will allow me a good relaxation. With bad weather you can relax in the fitness facility romp and afterwards and wellness area great relax. read more
