Hotel of the low middle class, rooms in poor condition, dining rather bad as right. The beach is not as a beach to use, everything at the beach washes remains at the beach, trash, of course, is also beach chairs.     The rooms after european standard a total disaster. Man wanted us on the day of arrival a room in 2. stick with small windows, moldy air conditioning and a shower in the the water drainage wanted to give. The room made the appearance in the 80. years as a painter and similar to have seen.     The friendliness of the staff at the front desk was more than unfriendly. The staff seemed unenthusiastic and had no interest in complaints. There our room on the day of arrival really in the worst condition was the we had so far experienced we got the front desk weighted.     The hotel is directly at the beach, circa 1,5 hours away from airport. From a ausflugsleiter we were strongly recommended no self-employed activities to the hotel to make, as it is not really safe the hotel in the area to leave.

The hotel has no 4 star rating, front desk looks like a waiting hall, not so much selection of food. Almost always the same food, no variety. Drinks bar was enough selection. The rooms are big and we had a cheap room, luckily with exit to the garden. All other rooms at the price range haven't even balcony. In total area of the hotel is smoke prohibited. Only from balcony / terrace and at the beach. The quiet pool not too often cleaned. Had to during the check in 8 hours on our room wait, since the rooms first from ... 16 o'clock re. No Deutsche Welle, but several English and Spanish channels. Safe on the rooms free. No mini bar. We had a rental car for the whole time. Directly close to the hotel is not much where one without car comes. read more

Relatively large hotel with over 300 rooms. We arrived 11:00 a. m. and our room was only 4:00 p. m. ready - in short: 5 hours with 38 °c bearable. Suitcase could in the lobby under supervision will be turned off. Luckily we got our all inclusive-bracelet, which we 5 hours then at least drinks could get with the heat and a small something eat. So it was not so great, is however probably not change, if the hotel almost full. First impression of the lobby: oh well, mediocre-have already schickeres seen. Then head room. We stayed in ... the building in the garden at the quiet pool stayed. 2. impression: oh god, saw as a parking garage. But then- our great surprise-we saw after the opening our shabby door a really beautiful room, but more about that below.     Our room was very spacious with 2 large, for german standards high, american double beds. There is a small seating area with a table and 2 chairs, a sideboard with huge -flat screen-tv, a wardrobe included ironing board and iron. We had in this building no balcony, however therefor it was very quiet and we have, in these great beds wonderful nights sleep. The building around the pools with balcony, but by the pool-business in the morning already relatively loud. The bathroom is also spacious with a big shower. Every day there was shampoo, conditioner, soap and bodylotion - unfortunately no shower bath, but for it soap. Everything was refilled if necessary. This things must not at home bring along-do not make only the suitcase pointless fully. Everything american products. In the living room there was still a small coffee machine with coffee pads, but you in all-inclusive 't actually need. Mini bar does not exist - one does not need also. The furniture is not the newest and dark wood. But nevertheless clean, that does however the overall impression not further. The safe is-against here already written experiences and contrary to the catalogue-descriptions-free of charge. It is said ' mietsafe for 5 US Dollar per day'.     There is a main restaurant and several specialty restaurant. Wonderful cake pieces and coffee there is as well evenings, furthermore really fresh fruit mango, pineapple, papaya and so on soups, freshly grilled and so on and many more. The breakfast designed similarly varied-much fresh fruits, muesli, juices, rolls and bread, drinking yoghurt, sausage, cheese, marmelade, eggs in all variations and also warm food, like black beans and rice for breakfast. The restaurant is open with fans, which itself is very nice, but also often birds and get themselves from the tables the food. Then it was not so appealing, but probably not to change.     The staff are altogether very friendly, particularly the bar -staff in the whole complex. If you speak spanish, is clear in the advantage. Apart from that with english also very good. Staff understands english, but you of course with accent speak and not everything oxford english. German nobody-why? The room was cleaned thoroughly, the beds with flowers and towels often decorated and also otherwise everything very tidy and clean. Complaints we had no. Nothing bad, nothing broken.     We have this hotel from the reason booked, because it was just about 2 driving lessons from san José away. Since we our stay a 8-day round trip through the land made, still 1 night in san José spent, we wanted not again 5-6 hours in one of the other offered beach drive. You have to keep in mind, that since the half day already again is lost-on the way back the same-the we did not want to. Therefore we could the time-if only 3-4 hours per route-still use. To the location of the hotel can be said: very remote. There are a few houses within sight, but a correct place, where one cannot proceed and the like, is far and wide not in sight-puntarenas is so around 8 to 10 kilometer away probably. Therefore there are also no purchase- and entertainment possibilities outside of the hotel. In the hotel there was a small shop with case solid prices. Now comes the review to the beach, certainly one of the better places to stay is. I'm writing this time our opinion, because we have many beaches on the world seen. The color black-how often written in catalogs-is not true. The beach area, where the loungers and palm trees, is bright respectively light grayish. We were a family of three on vacation so we had a large room with two kingbeds, terrace with view of the sea, table and chairs and hammocks strung between palm garden us. The bathroom has no window, but the ventilation worked well. The level of cleanliness in the bath and the room very nicely furnished, there are chest of drawers, closet, coffee maker, free safe, a fan, a seating area and air conditioning (which should remain, as this is the extreme humidity from the room away) all in all Inst the room in good condition former. The floor is ... refurbished. It was thoroughly cleaned every day and it was wiped every day. Bed linen changed every four days. The lunch and dinner buffet in the evening was under andererm theme, which was also good. Beside plenty of fish and seafood, there was a large selection of meat, roast, salads, pasta and dessert. Every evening a show cooking. The dishes were all very delicious, sometimes surprisingly different, as the appearance leads you to believe. The flavors were quite different. FRY sauce so, salads, side dishes tasted just not like at home. It was a quiet pool and three other pool areas: number 1: main pool with a pool bar and a swim-up bar and non-stop entertainment.
