Small simple family-run hotel, approximately 50 meters reset behind a very busy main road. The room was in general clean, the shower small, cramped. The shower head sprayed in all directions. The food is spartan, tasted alright but really very simple. The terrace is the 'in the open essen' adequate. Who no expectations represents, for the it. We were the last guests before end of the season. read more

We were from 24-9-2012 until 8-10-2012 in the Paloma Garden and we really enjoyed it. The rooms were always well cleaned. The food was always freshly cooked and tasted very good to us. There was always enough there and there is something for everyone. What the breakfast is concerned, we did prior to, through various Griechenlandaufenthalte, that it's not like we German are used to it. But also here we were satisfied. There was a beautiful bar and a large pool. The beach was in circa 10 minutes away by foot reachable. In the evening you have the possibility to ... on the strip for a walk. The Paloma Garden is thank god without animation etc. And therefore we could us get a good rest. The hotel is a family-owned hotel and you can take all issues in any case for information requests. Everybody was always very friendly and carefully, so that you really feel more comfortable. read more

Small hotel in a peaceful location. We are in the hotel at: pm. If the guide not have said, we have to go in, we had the entrance to the hotel not at all found. Everything was in the dark. read more

    The rooms were clean! The shower is very small. At showering one had always the curtain on the body sticky, and was very unpleasant. There was no tv in the room! What was not so good, that you the air conditioning for 6 Euro on the day to book had. Exactly had to a fridge additionally booked are. What the cost has, we know now unfortunately not more.

    The food was really bad! For breakfast there was everyday the same. Only on sunday, there was in addition eggs. The jams ( indefinable what sort of it was) was probably already longer in the pot. During dinner there was always vegetables ( beans, peas, cauliflower and so on) in tomato sauce. In addition there was always meat chunks with sauce. On one day there were also sometimes meatballs. But they were quite black. On the next day there were fries. They are in the same fat such as the frikadellen fried has been. = fries with frikadellengeschmack and black points.

We spend a very nice holiday on Kreta in the Paloma Garden. We were in the country and people in love. Our kids (3 and 6 years) pleased the vacation also super, without TV it was great on the big balcony in the evening good old game as' person trouble you 'and' boring, boring ' again to discover. The dinner was every day very delicious, clearly not as varied as in a large hotel, but even cooked, fresh, always sufficiently of all variations and something for everyone there ( vegetarian, meat dishes, fish). For breakfast we have for the kids ... cereal and bought us juice self-catering, so we have for variety catered for. We had the family suite number 106 with dreamlike lateral sea- and mountain views. read more

We had a double room booked and a suite. Therefore space very good, particularly as two balcony, one fully into the green. The hotel lies thank god not directly in the town, but somewhat remote. The nearby street disturbed by the traffic noise a bit, but you quickly get used to it. Positive is the possibility to evaluate, that the meal times in the open take can. We went there felt at ease and a nice holiday spend. read more

The hotel is really nice. It is very comfortable, because only 50 rooms relatively small is. The dinner is really delicious. Everything is fresh and myself! The prices for the beverages for the food are ok. (2 Euro Cola, 2.50 beer 5 a carafe of wine.) the breakfast is ok. It was a bit monotonous, but it is enough. Otherwise you can relax in the supermarket own buy and carry forward. Even a Lidl is in bus-proximity. The staff are very nice and friendly. All continue to help gladly, if you have any questions. read more

    To the beach you have to approximately 3 to 5 minutes walk and a busy street cross. But the is ok, especially if you the price consider. For lunch you can on the beach promenade which buy. From there, you could also evenings really nice walk. Excursions there are many, either on your own by bus or travel agency booked. To summarize the hotel was great! Value for money is great!

    Only with the coerced designed room ( no tv, hair dryer above), with worn furniture, all hotel facilities safe, ac or fridge only against high extra charge bookable. On ac we could unfortunately not do, as it during the day in the room very stuffy and hot and we at night because of the permanent noise level ( amongst others refrigerator the hotel bar) while having the windows open no eye zubekamen. To longer ac-use it however to strong odors from the air conditioner, which definitely not regular maintenance sachets. Bath very small, shower was tiny and it was actually impossible to shower without that the shower curtain constantly on the body sticky. Cleanliness the room for greek conditions average, you can of course not barefoot through the room walking (everywhere hair and fluff). Change of towels regardless of the demand generally only every 3 days.

The breakfast was even for greek A hotel of this standard in both choice and quality unsatisfactory, the hygienic standards questionable. Best one buys its own glass nutella in the supermarket, but even the bread (no toaster) was incomprehensibly in certain places damp. Constantly missing besteckzubehör. Was exceeded the whole only by the dinner, in selection, quality and temperature objectively speaking under each standard. Always the cheapest from the cheap, fat and cold. Never there was all this, what you in Greece expected, in other words food typical of the country. Always the same salad, heavy meat and heavy fish ( everything was cold) and cold pasta. Dessert was daily from watermelon, that was it! No soup, no olives, no further dessert, nothing! The food was a only but not the only insolence. Still we have never eaten so bad. And if finally times a few hotel guests the truth play would instead of the vacation sadly, would be all those helped, the because of the here gevoteten reviews then another hotel have chosen instead of here only to annoy. Drinks subject to a charge and overpriced, in foreign taverns we have better quality consistently paid less.

    Service not available. Luggage had even brought to the room, even old and disabled people were not helped. When pay additional services, there was you with the handaufhalten quick, even pay you could however wait and constantly ask, when you for example in the morning paid fridge finally shall (was evenings).     US was when our ( however very at short notice) booking unfortunately not clear, how strong this area (bay of Malia) from mass tourism is. Beaches crowded (pay liegestuhlmeere from the street to to the water). There was without exaggerating no capacity, where you beach mat could pose,. Countless bars and taverns, from the offer all somehow the same, and on the mostly british taste turned off. Countless noisy quads, rather a place for young people party goers as for those seeking tranquillity. Beaches outside of stalida/ Malia not quite as crowded, but always without shade!

Kreta definitely again, this hotel never again. For air conditioning, fridge and safe should be paid. Insolence. Food? A day eaten, then one has seen everything. The vacation was planned on short notice and so we were happy a clean, reasonably priced smaller hotel to find. Less is more here means the enticing charm a small, honest, clean complex capture and focuses on the essential ' the have a vacation ' to focus on. Only the Spartan but good quality very good breakfast let us' spoiled tourist ' ironsche comments. The location of the hotel was good, one is relatively fast at the beach and the numerous pub are welcoming. The Betreiberfamilie is friendly and helpful. read more

In this very touristic area the most beautiful hotel with very pleasant staff and easy going atmosphere. Thank god without animation and tv in the room! And the only, at least from the many we had passed, in the bar Greek music ran. read more

We were in the summer 2012 as a family with two kids in the Paloma Garden. The family room consisted of 2 separate, large rooms and a shower bath. The balcony went over hits a corner and was very big. We have a safe, fridge and the air conditioning rented. The air conditioning was however only in one of the two rooms. But in August in any case a must! The fridge was pleasantly large and no mini bar! Shelf space for clothes in the closet was however not sufficiently available. A TV one searched in vain. The gives it ... only in the tv corner at the pool bar. The food was typical of the country and good, however without wide choice. For Vegetarians is the food little suitably. The beverage prices are normal: 1 bottle of flat water 2 €, 1 bottle beer/ Fanta 2,50 Euro. The hotel is a family business. There were too many German guests in the hotel. The hotel has great value for money, that a good small weaknesses be overlooked is. We should again to Kreta drive, we would book this hotel again. read more

To to the beach you have to go to a highway crossing. This has been intensively busy and it is at night as well very noisy. This has disturbed us the most. The rest could you for this super cheap price accept. read more

It was our first time on Kreta mouth we were thrilled. It was really very nice, the beach, the weather the people were all very nice and accommodating. The diversity at purchase- and possibilities for going out on the beach promenade was perfect! In the hotel it was also very nice, as already some had mentioned, it is a small informal however well run hotel. The staff put very much worth it for cleanliness and friendliness. Although there was a smaller selection with the breakfast and dinner buffet, but it was always for a something for everyone, we were in ... any case full. It was a really really great vacation, and would recommend the hotel, the not so high expectations at a hotel has, we would come again, because the value for money and the beach are in any case great =) read more

Every year. This hotel is simply nicer. We were this year the 7. Mal there and we can just not understand, the most people something about this hotel to complain about have, but everyone has another Perception. If you the value for money looks, gets you really an excellent hotel with a very nice and hospitable family offered. Everything is clean, the beds are super, the food by a chef daily freshly prepared, no mass processing, well kept pool and outside area, small bar and so on we feel we have our first vacation(2006) in the Paloma Garden very probably. ... The complete staff( family business ) put in so much effort, the smoothly and with questions always an ear to lend. This hotel we could 100% iG recommend it. If you, in mind, that it was a small families hotel with Greek three stars category is. There is no animation, which we very pleasant find. ***air conditioning( 5 Euro), fridge (5 Euro) and safe? Must extra be paid. Three stars TV there is no in the room. Only in the outdoor area, where dinner is served. We are already looking forward to next year Paloma Garden! read more

I was for the first time the Paloma garden and was just because of the strong Bewertungsschwankungen this hotel very curious. I have to me but clearly the positive join. The hotel is pleasantly small and with a lot of love run by the same family. The rooms are big enough and absolutely clean. Who fridge and climate, extra pay, came for me but not in question. The selection of food is certainly limited but as to when I mostly local and very tasty food, I was absolutely thrilled. Who however serving staff at mealtimes expected searches here in vain. ... The pool and the nearby beach were clean and after stalis with many bars and restaurant, as well as shops it are only a couple of minutes. Bus station directly in front of the hotel. In short: I will definitely once again! read more

We have been several years our summer vacation in the Paloma Garden. And are as always satisfied! The rooms are clean and the hotel complex also. The beach is just 2 minutes away on foot. And the family of hoteliers are always friendly and welcoming. We come in any case 2013 back to stalis! read more

AM, the many evaluations still good are, for little money this service. Great, thanks. The Sister Cooks now, is still aromatic has become, I mean, more Greek food. Self made cakes. Thank god no Schnitzel. For such little money tasty food to make, compliments. Come of course again. Don't know how many times we were there, about 10 times. Always new positive things. Clear in June there are many repeat offender since, therefore also the great mood. See you soon read more

Had a great holiday. We were at the start skeptical, because no TV, fridge and air conditioning not included are included. There was also evenings no entertainment program. Nevertheless we have exceptionally good relaxed. It is very family friendly, clean and very peaceful, what we then have enjoy. Beach not far away. Unfortunately is always the same breakfast buffet, what we didn't like. Variety would be good. read more
