Another wonderful stay at the Eiger. Always such a pleasure to stay there.Adrian and Susanna are the perfect hosts. Their staff are so friendly and welcoming . We stayed in a refurbished room , which was very nice. Looking forward to our next visit to the Eiger read more

the hotel lies directly opposite of the train station the mountain railway Lauterbrunnen-miirren (BLM). It is informally run and not too large. During our stay many guests apparently from the United Kingdom, apart from that Swiss and apart from that isolated also other nationalities. read more

    We had room with a view, this is (if the weather is fine) just phänomenal. The rooms were big enough and well equipped, we didn't miss anything. Also bathrobes and slippers were provided. Enjoyable was the peace. First was our room not at all noisy. From the neighbors or from the corridor we got as good as nothing. It is in such houses unfortunately not the rule. And the village very much car-free is, you can actually nearly only the snowfall hear.

    We had evenings the half-board menu. Really delicious. And finally was a reasonable wine list. Here everything was OK. Starting with the motivated and really good service staff, the timing, the quality of the dishes and also vegetarians become here serious taken. The breakfast buffet was fully sufficient, sometimes it took a small little, until again filled was.

    The service was second to none. The staff friendly, not stiff and professional. The rooms were really clean.

    There is a small indoor swimming pool, the view here is however fantastic. Moonrise beside the Eiger, when you have the time. The sauna is also small and fulfilled the purpose of a Saunariums. The capacity here is however quickly reached. Unfortunately there were also the annoying habit many guests, with towels or bathrobes to block, even if this not at all there are. May but would hangers or similar remedy this situation.

The Hotel Eiger more than met our expectations. From greeting the train to take our bags straight from the train to our room, to the spectacular view, to the helpful, friendly and accommodating staff, everything was just what we hoped and more. We recommend it highly and hope someday to return. read more

Best place in town! There is not a nicer or more friendly place to be when you are in Murren or the Berner Oberland for that matter! I like the fact that the hotel is run by the same family since it's inception. read more

    The room was great and could not have been better! Our suite was at the corner of the hotel with a bigger deck than the other rooms - but the other rooms are equally as good when we have stayed there in the past.

    All meals were above average and I can't think of any meal that I did not like or was dissatisfied with in any way. The Breakfast was great and each morning - there is nothing like eating great meal and looking out at such a breathtaking view each morning! It is a must see and experience for all!

    Entire staff was perfect! So accommodating and friendly to every guest in the hotel I am always impressed each time we go back! Just ask for anything or ask any question and they can help!

    WOW! What a great pool. I am not a swimmer at all - but my wife is and she liked the pool very much! I just enjoined 'dog paddling" around and looking out at the great scenery!

    Great location and views! The Eiger Hotel is right across from the train station as well as the Eiger itself! The views are from a postcard - only better in person. I will never tire of looking at such a great view from this hotel!

Myself and a group friend stayed here in March 08 for a ski holiday. We found the staff and owners very friendly and willing to help always. The pool and sauna areas were very welcoming after a day skiing. The bar was always a fun evening and the evening meal choices were excellent for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. read more

The Hotel was very welcoming, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were able to cater for our vegan and gluten-free diet without problem - many places treat you as freaks, but the hotel staff did a terrific job in that respect. Also, the hotel is ideally situated, next to the railway station and with lots of walks into the mountains nearby. A great place. read more
