Very comfortable hotel in a leafy area of London. Short train/taxi ride from all main attractions and shuttle service to Heathrow. Rooms were a little on the small side but well furnished. Bar/restaurant area was modern and yet pleasant. Food/drink service was excellent. read hotel review

Altogether an adequate hotel for a city break in London. It's about a 10 minute walk to the subway. Unfortunately there's only wi-fi in the lobby and it's only free 45 minutes per day. Apart from that, the breakfast is nothing special for a 4-star hotel. The room was in great condition. It's sometimes quite loud in the room at night because of the traffic. Requests were pleasantly received at reception. read hotel review

Everything you expect from a Marriott Hotel.Nice and convinient. Not located in the inner City but doesn´t matter at all due to perfect public transportation connections. Front office staff verry professional. After beeing in the hotel industry myself for more than 30 years I would like to mention that the friendliness and professionalism of the check in clerk James M. was smashing. read hotel review

Location, 5 minutes on foot of underground station Swiss Cottage, from there 3 stops to central London ( Bond Street). Unfortunately in the immediate area of the hotel only a tagesrestaurant/café, otherwise quite dreary. Also the building, construction from the 60./70. Years, from the outside awful. The service is Marriott-usually very good, public areas renovated, room normal four-star standard, for London reasonable, however not with Marriott hotels in USA/ Germany comparable. In short, if you want a cheap rate is received, quite recommendable, however not on the rack rate. read hotel review

Nice hotel, from the outside but you rather less sleeps inside! Well kept and clean. Good: you will always find something to complain about, for example the bathroom fixtures and grout! I can see that shock. The hotel is well kept with nice helpful staff. The rooms are clean and spacious with 2 queen size beds and a 510 80ger flat TV. Breakfast is plentiful and the coffee is good. Well for £125 per net you could expect. But in England is unfortunately not always so ok! I would recommend This however, there is a swimming pool, fitness, spa, etc. ... It is about 8 minutes walk from the subway and bus stop Swiss Cottage. Ann From there you reach everything everywhere we wanted to go. read hotel review

We booked with breakfast included, which was the prices in London's restaurants quite well worth it. There were at the buffet, also typical British Löscher (fried black pudding), all in all it was good though and the long lines at the buffet was kept in limits for this quite large hotel. The hotel seemed very busy not fully booked. The had very positive high rises, as described above. We had a room with two double beds which was for London standards quite large and especially clean. Unfortunately the window and the balcony door is not more than a crack open. ... At reception it was nearing completion with construction justified. However, we had the feeling that the balcony itself no longer in good condition. read hotel review

As already mentioned large and clean rooms. There was a modern flatscreen TV available. As well as a kettle with coffee, tea and milk. We found the beds very comfortable. In short - we felt comfortable in the room. The only negative point - windows/balcony door was a crack open.

  • Gastronomy
    4.0

We only used the breakfast buffet, which as far as the cleanliness and hygiene was fine. It was regularly refilled, so that we had everything after 10 :00pm. The restaurant put us with very high prices, so here there was no rating.

The friendliness of the staff was ok. As it is without knowledge, I don't know we were always treated in a courteous. The room was cleaned every day.

  • Sport & Leisure
    3.0

On the ground floor, a hair salon, internet room, a gym as well as a pool and sauna and steam room. The latter are absolutely in need of renovation. Specially in the sauna and steam room we felt uncomfortable due to dirt. The indoor pool with pool seems the last of paint in the 80 's to have experienced.

The next subway station Swiss Cottage is about 5 minutes walk. The area is spectacular, but seemed safe at night. Near subway some good restaurants, including the ERIKI (Indian), which was recommended at this point. In two 24/7 supermarkets you can cater for yourself if necessary, equipped with all the necessary amenities. Note, however the prohibition for the sale of alcohol from 23 hours. Excursion possibilities were falling off in the hotel is not on, but you should go elsewhere in London. From Swiss Cottage is just 3 stops to Oxford Circus, or 4 stops to Piccadilly Circus.

For London large rooms, in house excercise pool, sauna, steam room and dressing have been updated. The pool is only 1 .2m deep, but it was enough for a dip and a few laps. About 300 meters from hotel are subway/bus stops. About 15 minutes drive to the center. There's also provides 24 -hour convenience store. Tip: on the web. Marriott. Stayed over New Year in this hotel and were lucky has an American Add a super good deal - at the normal rate would be accepted points otherwise certainly not have been acceptable: - From 6 days stay twice no room service (once the lady at 1700 when we just returned on the rooms were to freshen up - we've got your the clean up for the day "" and two days later they couldn't even though we were traveling throughout the day. ) - The elevators in the hotel were a disaster: the two are much too few ... for the many floors and especially if it is running full you had to wait in line (no joke) 10 minutes before. You then take the lift pass although (you can see and hear the) but it does not, whatever reason. He should definitely get stop there!! Even though the elevator to go up - main thing is that you are in it. One morning after a stair desperate with other guests looking for. When we found one had (actually about the emergency) we didnt get in a maze umhergeirrt and then in the kitchen! We found the chefs not bad was amazed at how light and a group of customers through the kitchen. - The hotel is located on a busy street for London rather little - but the windows are also the absolute catastrophe. Apart from the fact that you can't open it doesn't noise INSULATING. mornings when the first buses past the hotel sound you would think you is located on the sidewalk and the bus is rolling just about you above. Definitely take earplugs! What a pity, I would have expected from Marriott. - We had no breakfast included, but proved to be, as the queue morning not kidding 15m to wait that a space available. that is certainly because many guests over New Year's Eve in the house were however, the breakfast area is otherwise just much too small for such a large place. So: Either be there early or just go out to get breakfast. But there are also positives: - The location is a bit out of the way, but this is what you with subway (around the corner) and buses (both go to Camden as well as to Paddington, Victoria, or directly into the center) everywhere quickly and without the need to change trains. I can really recommend to take the buses. If you got made familiar with the plans puts you within walking distance of everything and also has a city tour included. - The rooms were really very nice, and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom was quite small but sufficient and everything was very clean. Air conditioning was available. - All in all I would to our room rate this hotel again - for regular rates I would however not think about whether I'd choose to stay elsewhere. At least I would insist on a room away from the main road. For all shoppers can I recommend the Westfield shopping center (you can also has one of the buses). The is absolutely wonderful. Architecturally as well as the number of shops. read hotel review

Good location a bit outside of the city very close to a subway station, only negative was to appoint the no German TV channels to welcome, breakfast was possible in the rooms was not always the ordered food. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke evenings, general a nice but rather bad see hotel which for city breaks outstanding for less appropriate, but to relax. read hotel review
