We have a small, nice diving hotel and were very impressed. You get to shortest as before, as if to family belongs. Very pleasant and always helpful staff.
würede gladly again anytime have a vacation there.

The hotel complex is in good condition. The rooms are clean, however already getting old.
The food was evenings satisfactory, in the morning, adequate. At the breakfast buffet you could still need to improve. Especially the selection of cold cuts leaves much to be desired. Sausage seems to be a foreign word. I also less white bread and more brown bread desired. Thick praise however at the service staff member, the us every morning our omelet, mirror- or scrambled egg prepared. We have it very much!
The beach was just great! Nice people, accommodating staff on the basis and above ... all on the dock!
Very well organized and always cooperative.
The nearby riff compensates one for the moderate hotel. I would therefore again and again here again! read more

We were from 20-09-2012 until 04-10-2012 the 1. in mangrove Bay, mainly to diving with the team the ducks divers. We were all around satisfied. You have to always keep in mind, that the mangrove Bay only a three-star hotel in Egypt acts, which one when booking account should be taken. The complex is truthfully not nice angelet, the rooms are however large and clean. Repairs were done quickly. The breakfast was not the hit, the dinner but not bad. You always find something, you won't starve. The beach is always empty, you can always find a spot. The pool ... is more visited, but also there one always finds a place. The service is fast, nice and very attentive.
There is no animation, all inclusive or shops. One is off the beaten track in the desert without the stress and hecticness.
The diving basis is great. The nearby riff is spectacular. There are a lot of possibilities the nearby riff to dive to steep. Either a completely normal Hausrifftauchgang, with the zodiak a one way dive or a pick up dive or with the boat out. Early morning divers, crepuscular divers and Nachttauchgänge are also with or without guide possible. Nitrox is free of charge. There are no time limits on the dives.
At the time of our vacation were about 60 guests, of which about 95%' repeat offender, that means this guests were all at least 5 times in this hotel. 80% were German, each 10% were Austrian and German.
Who relaxed without the masses diving I would like is in this hotel and dive centre just perfect. read more

We were to the 3. the mangrove bay. It lives like eh and jeh of regular guests. The hotel is very peaceful, there, there are nothing to do, except for a ping pong table and a leaning pool table. The staff are as always friendly made an effort, the food as always geschmackarm. The nearby riff is one of the most beautiful reefs of the egyptian red sea, why almost all the guests divers. read more

The bathroom it was necessary, shower, toilet and door. The front door could use a revision stand. Complaints are dealt with immediately. The outdoor facilities are however clean, it is still backlog demand. At the beaches are the overlays on the sunbeds partly with pigeon droppings covered. The diving station shines as ... always by friendliness and competence. All wishes will, as far as possible, fulfilled immediately. Diving at the nearby reef is a delight, especially, if even a manta ray 'good day' says.

The information on the homepage are correct! The hotel complex was located in a bay, with a very nice and full underwater world. It is quiet, without animation, the diesel generators are audible. The food was except on the first evening good to very good, the dessert buffet excellent. The staff are very friendly.
It has especially many divers, as there was a favorable, very friendly, competent and flexible diving station has. read more

the hotel is in the 'old'. The complex is all in all little well-kept. The guests to 95% off Germany. Nevertheless speaks the hotel staff only moderately English. It is a simple 3-star diving hotel. The rooms, especially the bathroom, could use a remodel. The rooms are small but adequate. Cleanliness was excellent. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. The complex is recommendable for divers/snorkelers who seek tranquility and want to dive. There is no animation. For a beach holiday less recommendable, since the reef roof to the beach was sufficient. The guests were at our stay predominantly from the German-speaking countries. Opportunities for shopping or restaurants nearby there are no. Attached to the hotel is a very good diving school of ducks diving. I refer to my review from March 2010, by Franz. Recently the mangrove even an Internet corner (against fee). A great success, but, there was a ten years ago was not even a telephone! The billiards and table tennis you have re-done. Otherwise, all in all, as always. A great place for snorkeling and diving, smooth and uncomplicated. For a sole beach holiday not suitable, the beaches for swimming in the true sense not useable. Water depth at high tide and only about 40 centimeter than reef roof, at low tide and mop dry. The reef in the vicinity is ... still very nice, unfortunately, has declined but the fish and animal wealth in recent years. I believe, however, that this is so, the price of unwise dealing with this beautiful planet Earth, and the ruthless exploitation of the resources in human shortsightedness and in personal egotism. read more

Very nice diving holiday. Hotel very quiet and the staff was very friendly. The only drawback: the ridiculously high price for the hotel safe with 3, -per day the us with renting but not on the day of arrival was told us, therefore, and with the departure ( 45, -) already very upset.
The diving is really duck's 1 a-very friendly and helpful-each individual dive have fully capable enjoy, because only for divers (my husband is only snorkelers) you very hard to find a suitable partner or if not, can without any extra costs to the retreat is. Reef in ... the vicinity also perfectly suitable for snorkeling, since the bay wind-protected and diving and snorkeling are the wind can independently. Very good and exit by ladder. Hotel really only for snorkelers and divers to recommend-is located in the middle of the desert, no shopping possibilities for this but absolutely recommended if no culinary delights and sontige activities are welcome-absolutely quiet and relaxing, books can be borrowed at the diving. read more
