In the heart of Manhattan, expensive with old rooms

The price is compared to other hotels in the location acceptable, but overall expensive. The rooms are beautiful worn, in particular the carpet could stories tell. The daily cleaning however was all right. The wifi should 14$ per day and device extra cost, a check-out after 12 o'clock also cost extra charge. And even the alternative storage would be liable to pay the costs.
The breakfast is for the offered too expensive, opposite the hotel there is a diner (park cafe), where you excellent breakfast. For a free wi-fi offers the Starbucks in the same building on. The Starbucks 'attwifi' ... wi-fi also welcomes you at the aufzugseingang in the hotel, why there regularly crowds of people and the way.
Overall a decent option in Manhattan to stay overnight. During the next visit, however, we will a better hotel try it. read more

An old not renovated hotel. Dark stains on the wall posters, bathroom with black mold and rust on the shower. Room service absolutely below ground. After purchase of the rooms directly the cleanliness complained. The room was not cleaned, the carpet fom the 5 days not once vacuumed. No reaction to complaint. First on the day of departure a discount of 100 Euro received. But could have been better a clean room had. Bags until the departure storage costs 3,75 American Dollar per piece of luggage.
Had email 4 try the hotel in advance contact, since my mother in ... a wheelchair. No response. For me an absolute no-go read more

Very nettest hotel in Manhattan, great near to the central park and time Square.
Only drawback, room had no mini bar/fridge and Wi-Fi is with 14 American Dollar/day really beautiful expensive.
Since we not in the hotel fed, we can the quality of the food give any information. read more

For sure the hotel is slow even in need of renovation. But the concierge room, which we had booked, had a pleasant size, was clean, and was at night really peaceful. The location of the hotel is otherwise unbeatable, from here are all major sights, as well as the metro it's prima to reach. Breakfast we had in the neighboring europacafe -very good. If you are looking for more design and a better decor of the rooms wishes, must in New York certainly very much deeper into portemonnai grab. We were to second time here and have nothing to complain ... about. Next time gladly again here. read more

My partner and I stayed for two weeks in Manhattan, New York in this hotel! Already the reception, the check-in, everything worked absolutely smoothly!
Our room was in the 12th floor. There it was very pleasant. I have already often read, that the rooms very noisy are: here I can only say: you can hear partly the cleaning staff on course, but even this is not annoying.
The bar is also very good - however somewhat expensive - exactly like everything else in New York also!;-)
The hotel is in the 55. Street-this is 4 blocks from the Central ... Park and 13 blocks ( about 12 minutes on foot) from the Times Square away! We are always on foot gone, as it is really not far!
Also a subway station is located in the 57. Street!
The block is the Broadway! So the location is just perfect!
All together everything was great organized and well done!
Small downside: on the day of departure we could our luggage for 3.75 $camps. When we got a taxi to the JFK Airport wanted, held us a hotel staff and told us (also other Travelers), we would have in a line to wait, it could a taxi can! There were however 3 yellow taxis there and he wanted to us not offer! Because: he wanted to give us the hotel's own SUV offer (around 14 $more, than the taxis) and these 14 $he would then inserted as a tip! In the final outcome we took us then simply a yellow taxi, paid the flat rate of 50 $and we were satisfied in 30 minutes at the airport!;-)
So: not everything-the new York are extremely nice and understand everything, partly use but the tourist-being also from! read more

Favorable prices -that is the main argument of the park central. One finds only very few hotel at this level to a so favorable price. In the relevant buchungsportalen you can with a bit of luck the night for under 100 euros get. This is also appropriate. You attempted of course, fail a little money after the event, for example 3.75 $for the bags upon arrival/departure for hotel guests... Rooms are clean and tidy. Room service is good and fast. Location is top, in midtown right at the bottom of the central park. read more

first I was, together with my parents at the entrance of the hotel very friendly and we were right with our suitcases helped. The entrance hall/lobby very large. On the walls hang modern pictures from new York and a few à la Marylin Monroe style pictures. The lifts are relatively large. In the lift will pleasant music played.
all are very helpful and one feels really comfortable.

We spent 4 nights at the hotel park central. Because of its central location in Manhattan (7th Ave. Corner 56 Street) is this hotel for all to be recommended, the short walk and/or explore the city with the metro. Times Square is in a few minutes walk. The metro station is just in front/ next to the hotel. Bistros/cafes/restaurants are also in the immediate vicinity. Due to its close proximity to Central Park can those who need a bit of peace in between, a quick getaway. The front desk and bell staff etc. Seemed a little uncoordinated is not too ... bad. The rooms are OK for a city break, the king size bed was comfortable. We had a room to backyard, so we were also quite had quiet nights. The hotel can be recommended, but please bring high expectations! read more

TIP! Set during the day-to-day you leave the room a a $as tips on the pillow note, the motivated the cleaning staff in their very modest additional income in the United States. read more
