Hotel Am Rugard^{(3 stars)}

My wife and I were very comfortable. However, the bathroom was too small and had a slanted roof. Food was excellent. The breakfast buffet a number of things can still be done better. The staff was, with the exception of a lady in the service very friendly. Parking at the hotel's immediate vicinity were rather bad. Public parking is too far away from the hotel and I think this storage space for unsafe. We should once again be in the area, then the 'hotel is the rugard strandhotel' again our domizil. read more

A very nice hotel. The room, which we had, was large and in a good condition. Only in the corners was not cleaned as thoroughly. It was not so bad, that we had to complain about. The shower was the shower head broken. After a complaint it has less than five minutes until the maintenance took care of the problem! A great service! The staff was very nice, helpful and quick. The location is very good. It was very quiet. However, it is not far from the centre of Bergen! It is right next to the hotel in rugard strandhotel-tower ... the, the one for the price of 1.50 euro per person can see. About 1 going minute far away there is an island toboggan. There you could go on for two euros per ride/person a nice Rodelfahrt. We liked it very much and we will definitely stay check-in there. read more

Very nice hotel in a quiet location. The main square mountains is ten minutes walk. A sauna is also available, bicycles can be rented. The observation tower right outside the door is complimentary for hotel guests, otherwise €1.50 per person. There was internet about the expensive Internet Hotspot Telecom. The hotel is comfortable and modern furnished in country style. The rooms are large, with TV in the room, the bathroom very small but have hairdryer and soap dispenser. The Frühstücksleistung is OK. Various kinds of cheese, sausage, jam, juice etc. However, there are only scrambled eggs on Sundays?! The ... coffee is already in red thermos jugs on the table. You can have breakfast from 07:00-10:00. The restaurant is great! The dishes were delicious and affordable. Overall, it was a very nice and highly recommended hotel. Only the eye for detail sometimes: depends on the lamp wrong or is broken? The Frühstücksbutter is warm and sticky together. The check in was Okay, we were warmly welcomed. The extra bed for our daughter in the room, so we were offered a larger room, it was too cramped else. The rooms are bright and friendly, but the mosquitoes 'bodies were on wall and ceiling not so nice in the bathroom toilet seat was loose, and the soap dispenser was empty. The dinner was great, we had booked through 'day-dreams', had thus per night €21, 50 per adult and the child €10, -consume. The menu has fish to meat, great starters and desserts on children's menu had great deals. The ... staff was very attentive. The breakfast was for €10, -per person a bit poor. Unfortunately we do not scrambled eggs or other things, because there was none to the questions. Coffee was in airpots on the tables, milk and juices at the buffet. Otherwise there was boiled eggs, sausage (the liver sausage had a dark edge), cheese, cereal etc. We had to complain about: when booking we stated, this was our second anniversary that we spend there, it was not said anything, it was not possible in the evening still small towels (which had been forgotten in the room to put two days in a row!) and we wanted to pay a part of the bill, however we were ten minutes at the front desk and no one. Finally, the lady, after I found and were asked hochgezogenen eyebrows and had asked us if that were not on the day of departure, it would be too much trouble. It was probably about the 'failure' not happy. After I had insisted on a payment, I was very rude, I had at least adequate. A very unusual attitude. We were now for the sixth time and it was again in rugard strandhotel just as nice as the other times. We had booked 3-course menu in the evening, which I can only recommend. The check-in process was a pleasure. Especially the seafood platter for two persons was fantastic! The service staff was very friendly, even if perhaps something forgotten. But as you are all well aware that there is formed, of course, there is perhaps not always everything perfect. By friendliness was well done. The rooms are nice and comfortable and very clean. The hotel is located in the ... middle of the nature reserve and it was really quiet. To check in one must drive with the car, otherwise there were only a few steps away a large parking lot where the car is very good.
