The hotel makes its 4 stars all honour. We had a problem with the Duschstande - was taken care of immediately. The employees are always very good mood and super efficient. The area is wonderful times should however a rental car, was in elounda for local suppliers very good, or with the public bus drive, to the whole island to explore. read more

We had in the elounda aqua sol resort great, relaxing and very relaxing vacation. We would always book this hotel again. It is the first hotel where we nothing to complain about had. Especially the friendly staff we were surprised. We had the feeling there is hardly a language, with the staff overburdened would have been. Everybody was always friendly and very accommodating. Wishes were never open. We have it found very pleasant, that in September mainly older guests in the hotel was, because therefore we could us finally from the everyday life. At pool and sea it was wonderful. ... At the sea ( about 200 meters away from the hotel) it is very quiet and from hour to hour we noticed as the strain of the shoulders, and you finally on vacation arrived. Usually we need a little more in order to have really to be able to switch off. By the pool we spend a lot of time there, as the pool bar in the immediate area is. Also here the staff is great been, drinks all art and snacks there was enough. For the food we were very surprised; opposite to other hotel was the selection not so sumptuously, but it has simply everything tasted. So what we have never experienced. We can recommend this hotel without any reservations. And will definitely come again. read more

We had beautiful weather, the staff are friendly and we are back in Germany In the 2. Week a third the room by Russians occupied, has the stay nearly impossible made. Rental car better from the local vendors take, we had a travel guide, a large provider, never such a verbeultes and scratched car seen. So fast not more to Greece read more

With certain downsides ( see below) not bad but could be better hotel. Beautiful hotel, successful distribution of premises, consistently good cleanliness. Pleasant size of the hotel ( room-/ number). Good location for beach- and sightseeing vacation and for visits to the nearest towns/cities, still good distance to the airport. Great view on the mirabello bay, spinalonga and the lying off peninsula. Guest structure: too many french, several English, some russians, a few German. You can here but not go far with prejudices, none of these guest nations is us misbehaving - on the contrary. read more

    We were lucky with our room, the somewhat remote and in the back of the hotel was convenient, that means it was not in the main building, but in one of the bungalowartigen side building. There it was very quiet, there was no direct sunlight. The air conditioning worked well and was individually adjustable-we have no mutilated. Equipment and furniture getting a bit old, but intact. Hard mattresses. Bathroom clean, but partially. Southern bad-some fliesenkleber -remnants will see as dirt from, but none. Room and bathroom rather spacious and large closet with enough room. The tv we never turned on, since it not only -German program was. The room had a terrace, but we didn't use it.

    We can basically only the breakfast and dinner evaluate, there we during the day mostly not on in the hotel were and therefore the all inclusive-range of morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack didn't use it. The breakfast was English and always right, it changed only the Croissant-offer. However there was everything -3 sorts of juice, many types tea, tasty coffee, mirror- and scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, cheese, jams, 'nutella', honey, biscuits, 3 sorts of muesli, Baguette, toast, some fruit and yoghurt. The dinner changed although for offer daily, you discovered but-as in the youth hostel - on days successively the ingredients from the day before in a' new' court. We have a bit more local kitchen missed; in the compact but the main covering offer we actually always found something, what us spoken, the taste left but unfortunately most of the to be desired. Unfortunately! Here we see clearly room for improvement. The dessert is great! The restaurant was always clean and the officials have made sure, that nobody with hands on the food is, but the ready forks/spoons and/or pliers used. You can sit very nice on the outdoor terrace of the restaurant; at certain times it was a bit crowded, real crowd we had however never and it was always a pleasant atmosphere. It ran always entertainment, which we however not when disturbing felt. Once had a young guest birthday and got all waiters a ständchen singing and a cakes with fireworks presented! Again an expression of the very good services!

    Extremely friendly staff at front desk, bar and above all in the restaurant - very attentive and tidy with the fix up the tables! You need less a few greek words, rather English and french, because the hotel really more or less on the majority of the french guests is adjusted. The whole animation is french, but we didn't care, because we did not use these. At the bar is however very good speak German - for those who need it. Recommendable, if you not the whole day aM/ in the hotel is, is the use of the lunch packages. Water, juice, fruit, vegetables and sandwiches in a very good insulating cooler. Cleaning of the rooms was good, it was even the terrace from sandkrümeln and from and to the bed linen nicely done. Complaints we had no, the solution would have been.

    There are two pools, one was at the outdoor bar and there probably animation instead of. The other pool is peacefully located and suitable for swimming. We only a pool-day. There are good loungers and sufficient sun screens respectively shade-giving trees. Nearby is a small supermarket, but we didn't go there.

    Very close to the small town of elounda with beautiful mini -port and a row pretty and inviting pub. There, there are also supermarkets, banks, gift shops and stores for necessities, as well as car rentals. From there boats go to spinalonga. A little further is the also small village of plaka. In elounda, plaka and on the way in between there were various beaches and possibilities to go swimming. We have the swimming spot of the hotel ( no beach!) , with acceptable loungers and sun screens equipped is, didn't use it. Instead is very recommendable the beach almyros, directly behind Agios Nikolaos direction sitia - great beach, great water ( refreshing the einfließenden süßwasserfluss ), great service if you want and acceptable price for 2 loungers and a sun screen (7 €). Delicious are the souvlaki-skewers! Agios Nikolaos is also very easy with the rental car and one or more attendance worth. Tip for a fancy bath day is next to the famous palm tree vai the small but very beautiful bay on the 'back' of the spinalonga -peninsula - be careful with the subfloor with rental car. Who is sensitive, should the but avoid, since there ( however on the edge the bay and therefore definitely not disturbing) the party boats stop.

For families with small children unsuitable. Playground too small and totally neglected. Everywhere dirt and unsecured cable the on the floor was moved. Swimming pool only on very long flights of stairs. No toys for children at the swimming pool. The food was canteen, nothing exclusive. Animation over 10 days only in french. No beach bar. read more

    Hotel own beach only to reach on foot. With baby carriage it is a pure torture. Because it is a steep downhill. The road the beach was not paved and very rocky. In the nearest town only by bus or with the taxi.

It is on the whole well recommended. A lot of French, but this is not bad. Activities in French. But quite nice. Beach, there was no concrete platform only one. But if you don't the sand is, is the correct. There were free beach chairs by the sea with umbrella. :-) read more

Which pleased us was, the food was good-buffet in the morning, afternoon and evening. The staff was friendly and not pushy. Unfortunately there were mainly French, English-German only limited. For children nothing at all-entertainment for adults only and only in French-very unfortunate. Absolutely not suitable for handicapped people, as there are many stairs. Conclusion: a second time!!!!!!!!! read more

The hotel staff were successful, us a very good holiday mood to negotiate. When ankubft and departures outside the normal tischzeiten have been designed for us food (sandwiches) and drinks are provided. read more

Was quite nice for five days, in the immediate vicinity except for Elounda city does not have much to offer. One could forget about the hotel beach, if you about 20 minutes and you can a nice spot on the rocks on the sea. read more

Smaller resort, rooms very clean and large (bungalow with a sea view). Downside: A road in front of the complex. All-inclusive includes ample buffets; mornings, lunch and dinner. Guests are mostly French, who, if travelling in bunches, can be quite loud. At the beginning of June there were mostly older people here. read more

    The rooms were very spacious and neatly furnished and air conditioned. The bathroom was very small, but everything was very clean. Safe in the room for a deposit. We had a nice, large balcony with a sea view. There was a TV as well.

    There was a main bar and 2 pool bars, one of which was not open during pre-season. The dining room was very clean and the meals always plentiful and very varied. The food came as a typical buffet. But there was always something local as well. For lovers of fish there was a different one, mostly delicious, each day. The atmosphere was very good and staff's smiles were even bigger after a tip.

    Entertainment was only done in French and we didn't take part in it. There were shopping possibilities in 2 supermarkets. Two small pools with new loungers and sun umbrellas were okay. I already described the beach, but the water was wonderful.

    Smaller resort, rooms very clean and large (bungalow with a sea view). Downside: A road in front of the complex. All-inclusive includes ample buffets; mornings, lunch and dinner. Guests are mostly French, who, if travelling in bunches, can be quite loud. At the beginning of June there were mostly older people here.

    The distance to the beach is a big minus. Via a steep concrete street you get to the "beach" which is 300 metres away. It doesn't really deserve to be called a beach. Filthy loungers and broken sun umbrellas don't exactly invite to linger. If you climb down the rusty ladder, you can take a swim in the beautiful water. The next town of Elounda is a 20-minute walk away. Shops are in Agios Nikolaos, about 7km away, a very nice little town. A further drawback is the long transfer time, it took us two hours and all that at night.

From the brochure of the hotel did not show the the main language was French at this hotel. Although we had the reviews about the large French share of guests read before, but did not expect the this so massive. All the hosts spoke almost exclusively French, otherwise only a smattering of English. The food was not very diverse, replica after just a few days and there was only once a week Tsatsiki ( without garlic), and that in Greece The hotel wasn't fully booked, travelled to our holiday now some vacation travelers, the buffet was simply by half, d. ... H. there were only half the selection. In the brochure, with a tavern advertising, according to the staff this is already closed for years now (unfortunately) The amphitheatre ( a bit steep for a Minibühne and three tiers) wasn't used during our holiday. At the lower pool with pool bar was entertainment offered, at the top had before you peace, but also closed 2 Pool bar. The hotel beach ( according to prospectus, a rocky bay) was very small, in addition to two toilets there was nothing. Conclusion: For lovers of the French conversation like the place - we would choose a different one next time. read more

We stayed as a family with two children (13 and 17 years of age) in April 2009 at the Aqua Sol resort hotel in Elounda. It was great. The hotel is very clean, the staff extremely friendly and dedicated. It was a personalized between staff and guests. Our kids loved the entertainment team totally great fun, was a fun group (not obtrusive) it would always be sports. The food was also very good. The pools and the beach chairs were very nice. The beach area is not so great, but didn't really bother me, since we were out and about ... a lot. In the immediate vicinity you can take a cheap rental car, we think this is a highly recommended, as you were in Crete on your own anything to do. There is also a nearby Scott bike station with great mountain bikes. We had good weather around 20 degrees, ideal to do anything, you could very well but also in the sunshine. We find it was for Crete an ideal travel time, since it wasn't so hot and not so many tourists. We would return to the Aqua Sol. read more

air is not clean, not suitable for astma patients public eareas not clean, f. i. doors. the french animation takes all the room in the hotel, you are bound to go outside. you have to beg for water for medicine, tapwater is not drinkable. they don't want to serve water to all the guests. they treat you like infants, everything is a problem. drinks in plastic cups, you are just all inclusive. 4 stars, I don't think so!!
