We spend two nights at the intercityhotel Freiburg.
I would like to particularly emphasize the location this city hotel. It is located directly to the train station, and is only few minutes on foot from the city centre/old town. Who by car arrive, can make this in the under the hotel nearby bahnhofsgarage for 10 Euro a night reduced off.
As in all intercityhotels are included in the hotel price tickets for the public transportation included. But since one all important objects of interest to reach on foot can, we have this not taken into account.
The frontdesk employees and ... for breakfast were very friendly and accommodating.
The weak point this hotel the tiny room and the extremely tiny bathroom. The mattresses was already very worn. It was but everything clean and for a city trip is you anyway only for sleeping in the rooms. Our room was on the 8. floor. With the windows closed you didn't hear noise from the train station.
The in the price received breakfast was very varied and delicious. There were baked bread rolls, different sausage and cheese, cream cheese, eggs, fruit, cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon.
The intercityhotel Freiburg for a short break in Freiburg definitely recommendable. read more

We were there for a weekend guest of the intercityhotel Freiburg. The hotel sees from the outside tidy, is located directly on the main station and is only few minutes on foot from the city center/ old town away. Close proximity to train station for train travellers ideal. We ourselves travelled there by car, which we under the hotel nearby bahnhofsgarage for 10 Euro a night vergünstigt could leave. The hotel price the tickets for the public transportation we didn't use, because everything you in Freiburg want to see easily accessible on foot is.
The staff at reception were very ... pleasant and accommodating. You immediately gave us a new room given, because in our first room loud noise through a draught on our door to hear. The romos and the bathroom are extremely small, but for short stay reasonable, even if the wet room rather a camping car right. Cleanliness was good!
Breakfast was very varied and delicious. There was everything you need and the waiters were very friendly.
Altogether the intercityhotel Freiburg definitely recommendable, if you don't have much on spacious rooms sets. read more

Hotel right at the train station and therefore also very loud. Window can be opened in the 7th floor, which was a little surprised. For a short stay recommendable. The direct location at the train station and a main road, of course, that when you open windows cannot sleep. As an alternative there is a fan.
Room and bathroom were very small, but with all the necessary things equipped.
Mattresses we found very soft ( matter of taste). What bothered me, that in front of the next room on a day two empty bottle on the doorstep were.
Breakfast was quite good. The president, the our 2. the day in the breakfast room was responsible, was exceptionally friendly and polite. With other persons of ... the staff we had also times a 'good morning/good day' desired.
As drivers you can the parking garage right at the train station for 10 Euro per day use.
The center is on foot easy to reach, but also with the tram ( room card serves as drivers license).
With our coupon we had a free trip with the schauinslandbahn. read more

Unloving Abfertigungshotel. Optimally convenient, but without any charm. Quite alut, as it right next to train station and the neighboring building also noisy. In the summer it is difficult to, the room cool to get. Breakfast buffet is OK, however also very carelessly equipped. In short: for 1a 2 nights reasonable, but not very cheap. We were only one night in this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed. The rooms were modern and clean. Impressive was, that we our car for a reasonable bargain price in the public parking garage (10 Euro/ 24 hours) parking and a ticket for the free use transport in rate inclusive was. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. read more

The large advantage of the inter city -hotels is the direct proximity to train station - in Freiburg there is even a hotel exit directly to the railroad platform 1. a has the furniture in the room a few signs of wear on, altogether however the hotel is well maintained, the complete staff baden-hospitable, the bed comfortable and sound-proofed windows ensure peace.
