For breakfast from 09:30 A. M. on sunday morning nothing more refilled. The ordered boiled egg was only after two-time ask stituents. The sausage, the cheese and the ham were from typical diskontmarktpackungen. There was only 1 sort of rolls, the however not crispy.
Help for wheelchair users there was in the breakfast restaurant unfortunately not. The lady from the reception was only there and was not ready, just to help, the stage to be overcome and the restaurant staff found the required ramp not. After 10 minutes one then on repeated demand still helped, in the restaurant to ... arrive, but with the left 2 male employee only estanden and looked, as you with the wheelchair back from the restaurant came out. On demand both have unfortunately not response. read more

As a guest a meeting I was all together very satisfied with the hotel. From the outside has there is no specific charm, the qualities of the Ropeter has in the hotel. The rooms are very nice, spacious and with quiet terrace. The food is in comparison to similar hotels above average. What is missing is a pool but also better possibilities for the evening ( cinema, restaurant and so on) in the immediate area. To end on a good note could also the rooms convince, very generous with a modern designed bathroom. read more

We had a double room and got an upgrade to an very spacious suite with two rooms, a large bathroom with jacuzzi and round shower, as well as guests-toilet. A kettle with coffee and tea was ready and both rooms with flat -tv equipped. On arrival there was a snack and free drinks ready. On request we were upgraded to a fresh and big breakfast in the room. The cleanliness the hotels and the friendly staff were exemplary and we will the stay in positive remember. read more

The hotel had a well-kept impression. It is spread over several, interconnecting building. My room was in the back of the complex, so it was very quiet. Sleep with the window open was quite possible. The room was exceptionally large, only for wheelchair users should the passages for the bathroom and toilet to close. The rates for the weekend (trade fair) were moderate. During the week the rooms are more expensive. Business must be a bit more deeply into the bag. The breakfast buffet was quite large and varied and offered something for everyone with its diversity.

The hotel has been run by the October 2010 Clarion Best Western Parkhotel Ropeter now. Since then, I have slept already twice in the hotel for three nights and will in the future there. The renovation work is now fully completed. I stayed always used in the fifth floor, there were good, hard mattresses and pillows haltgebende resources and normal Türgrößen. (see also my report of March 10) twice now I got a room on the second floor. The beds were also hard and very comfortable. I have excellent night's sleep. I ... stayed in quite a few hotels in Goettingen Clarion-NH-for example, Uncle Tom's Cabin-racing footwear Schweizer Hof. However, I have the new Best Western Ropeter now to my fixed focal point in the town of Göttingen said, not least because of the good location, but rather because of the comfortable beds, to the great breakfast and the tuned service.
(Even though it's a bit more expensive than the three star hotels in Goettingen in which I have stayed.)

Hotel now belongs to the Best Western group, has been and is being renovated.! You don't need alarm clock, because from 7:00 A. M. the construction noise started. The hotel is conveniently located, directly from the kassler road-but be careful, rooms at the front of the hotel. I wish you a good night! ☹ The access to the bathroom just 70 centimeter wide, but separate toilet and bathroom, shower flooded the whole bathroom. The bed is so hard, you sleep on the floor soft-so I slept on the couch. The couch had holes from cigarette fire, although there ... is a non-smoking room and was full of Bröselen. I was very disappointed by the breakfast. Nothing special, ham tastes like the from Walmart, the bacon to the scrambled eggs was burned and hard, thus one could almost broken teeth. Furthermore, saturated fat-remedy it: just a piece of toast with bacon beach chairs, the fat sponges.
I will not stay here again. When power in Göttingen finally, a hotel where the price-performance ratio. It was a good middle class hotel, the best privately owned and managed. 112 euros for the room here to pay just a bit too much. Twelve euros for breakfast is in the quantity and the quantity not justified. read more

Contact and posting great. Super friendly staff at the reservation.
Breakfast was very good, everything-even with salmon.
The room was very good-bathroom great! Mega Great! With bath and a great shower and everything with beautiful tiles.
The only major drawback was, that our room on the top floor, and the heat unbearable temperatures prevailed.
We got a fan from the front desk, but hardly help.
A four star hotel should have a/c in the room, the even had a different, three-star hotel which we visited late.
Service in the bar area was perfect, we watched as evening football.
Unfortunately there ... is no wellness area-at least a small sauna would have been nice! read more

The Clarion is located on an arterial road from Göttingen, of the freeway. As a traveler I arrived at the station. The walk for small luggage left in about 18 minutes to do. Several bus lines (3, 4u5) seemed to go in the right direction, but I chose the option. From the outside, the hotel made a good impression. The reception was very friendly and the check-in was quick and easy. I received a codekarte for the door in the fifth floor
The room was friendly, bright and functional. The Rotatable Tvturm pleased me very well, since you either from ... the bed, the desk or the couch can adjust an optimal point of view. All major TV channels to receive. The free wireless Internet worked perfectly. A Anschaltbox for LAN and modem cable is mounted on the desk. A tray with a kettle, cups and some portions coffee/tea/sugar and coffee white beach I am pleased that, for the preparation of a quick cup of coffee.
The cleanliness of the room and also in the bathroom (with a telephone) was perfect.
The bed was very comfortable. The whole decor has a good conservation degrees.
The breakfast buffet was plentiful, my breakfast coffee in the thermos pot was hot enough and the service cleared the used plates with friendliness. Fish friend I missed the smoked salmon and the scrambled eggs were in its consistency unfortunately not as it should be. Otherwise I thought everything was to my satisfaction.
The few hours, which I was able to spend this hotel (check out the next morning) I found was pleasant, which is why I hesitate to recommend this hotel highly recommend it to my friends. Four star or not, there are certainly better, but also worse ** ** star hotels. The bathroom used in Hotel Clarion in Göttingen felt very comfortable. read more

Nice hotel in a favorable location with feelgood factor, ideally suited for our city trip. The hotel invites guests but also for longer stays a ( mainly used it as conference hotel). Already at the welcome at the reception we felt very welcome and comfortable. The room ( business) we found "huge", but also very cozy! The bathroom was sparkling by a large bath, great we found the separate toilet. read more

We had a family weekend incl. passes to Kinderstadt Rossdorf on ebay and were pleasantly surprised. The room was very large and neat, the decor wasn't anymore the most modern but still in good condition. The breakfast buffet was very good, a very large selection of freshly baked breads, pastries, fresh fruit and more. Considering that alone tickets for the Kinderstadt 24.00 € were worth overall, we only paid 81.00 € for 4 people, 2 nights with 2 breakfast was was a very good value for money and we will go back. read more

We had a Familienwochende through ebay and left after one night. The room was in a completely worn and overall soiled carpeting condition. The bunk beds for the kids without SAFEGUARD to prevent falls. The mattresses were worn and you can tell the double bed at every turn the springs in the mattress insisted in the back. In the bathroom made stepping back in the 1970 's. Blue tiles, disgusting shower curtain, mold in the joints. So what didn't have to be. Blue tiles or not, but mold should not be at a 4 star hotel. The sheets were clean ..., but the blanket including could we preferred not report. When we checked out early there was there was not even need to ask why. Not recommended! read more

I stayed at the Clarion hotel in Gottingen mid-August. Unfortunately I was a bit concerned when I saw the last hotel reviews, but I can not confirm this lucked out. We had a conference there. The meeting rooms and the hotel are of good decor-wise but partly a bit dated, however there is partly renovated in the hotel and you can tell that the decor is to be replaced. My room was average, angemehme size and a great bathroom. Some of the furniture, as the desk or the bedside tables had Verschleisssspuren. The room was despite its flaws by "aging" ... otherwise very clean and nicely equipped. Wishes as hypo-allergenic bedding and a bathrobe ( and to my shame shaving lost) was dealt with promptly and no extra charge reacted very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good. It was everything you could wish for and the service very nice. in the evening the restaurant ( used once) and the dine al fresco overlooking were attractive and quality of the food good. The hotel is also easily accessible from the motorway. The city center and train station are easy to reach. A bus stop is right in front of the door, with the taxi is about a five minute walk into town. A shopping center and cafes and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. Nice is that I mailed a tie bluntly after I notice and called was mailed. Conclusion: Nice service from check-in through check-out and beyond. Here and there should be renewed and things decor be exchanged, but obviously due to refurbishment is. I was very happy and I would also at such a business trip or private intention, if I was planning to come back to your travels bring Göttingen, stay at this hotel again. read more

Not comparable to that of a 4 star hotels. Indoor swimming pool, sauna, etc. Is permanently closed. Decor in the 2 * and 3 * rooms dated. Service generally friendly. This was our second stay at the Clarion Hotel Goettingen. This hotel has been a bit old. The pool and sauna are not longer in operation. In the lobby is a former small waterfall now one green plants inside of it. We have a ebay coupon for tickets to the waterpark Eiswiesen as well as a 3 -course menu. The bathing paradise Eiswiesen is a very nice area - as you miss the hotel pool and sauna no minute. The 3 -course menu was very tasty. An exchange of the meal was not a problem. The attendant was very friendly ..., but still very experienced. Breakfast was of a 4 star standard. Our "business room" was on the 4 Floor overlooking the Harz and was very spacious. The size was in reverse relation to the very small television. The room was not air conditioned and stuffy, so we opened the windows. Therefore it was pretty loud, since the hotel on the main road from the motorway toward Göttingen is. The city center is a 30 minute walk away from. All in all, a highly recommended hotel, certainly it was more like a three as a four star - we'll definitely stay. read more

The front desk was friendly and efficient, it was asked whether we know the city and need information.
The room was from the size absolutely in order, with seating area and swiveling tv, which was unfortunately at the arrival no note of it.
The complaint was taken care of immediately and the problem was fixed.
The furniture in the room is not in the newest condition, the carpet was probably from the early days.
But the walls were freshly painted and everything was clean and spacious.
The bathroom made despite the black tiles a newer impression, big enough and clean. ...
The breakfast was in order, several sorts of cold meat, inter alia, ham, three sorts of cheese, fresh fruit as melon, pineapple and grapes were offered.
Since we had booked a favorable overall, we were very pleased with the Arrangement. read more

My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend in the town of Göttingen '. Great city which pleased us very well. Beautiful old buildings, great shopping, many bars and restaurants (for the smokers), many excursion possibilities in the surrounding area. Clarion Hotel was overall well appointed. The service staff at the breakfast buffet was friendly, but unfortunately no German understood?! Speaking of breakfast buffet, there is a fat minuspoint, as a four star hotel absolutely bad was (for example, in comparison to the Best Western Hanse Hotel in Warnemünde). The coffee was brown colored water, since the staff didn't understand ... us (or want to understand?) was no improvement to achieve. There were only three sorts of jam and honey, only four different kinds of sausages and two sorts of cheese, no fish, no salads (poultry, unsatisfactory, salad or similar-), fruit salad from the can, the scrambled eggs were only lukewarm, etc. All in all disappointing for a four star hotel, I would have a star. read more
