Was booked the hotel by booking service my company. When I was there, I had to the hotel however only once search.
Through a small door directly on the street leads to a staircase, through which you to the hotel comes, whose front desk on the 1st floor is. In the first moment I was not at all surely, if I at all in the hotel am, or in a private home.
The hotel and the room were so far so good! However I would not in the high summer there, all rooms do not have air conditioning!
From the ... hotel it is about 15 minutes walk to the lake and 10 minutes' walk to the train station.
I would also recommend to walk, because the hotel has no own parking, but they have a public garage in approximately 100 meters distance guest parking. The hotel accepts a part of the parking fees, however it costs nevertheless approximately 20 CHF for one night!
The breakfast was außgewogen, however were on the table still very many crumbs, there was probably after the clearing the cover not cleaned!
On the whole you can the hotel but recommend! read more

Excellent for a city break or also close to all transport links. The pedestrian area is just around the corner, shopping possibilities in front of the door. Parking in a nearby garage sufficiently available. read more

Good location, bad Internet access, a small elevator, the most busy-a lot of very steep steps.
Good, friendly, courteous.
Antiquated room, TV useless, electrical outlets, broken, old-fashiones.
Central location with direct view of the noisy street, no sleep, as the rooms are not air-conditioned. Amazing room!
Dead spider in the room. Shower very small-in the bathtub.
The freundlilche staff gave me a discount but to sleep I have still not a replacement room was not available. read more

A great hotel for a city break. It is about ten minutes from train station within walking distance. It is right in the middle of the city (at night it is a bit noisy with the window open), good shopping possibilities. The breakfast is good, it was always immediately refilled as soon as something was empty. The breakfast room is large with sufficient amount of place. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and sufficient, the bathroom was large and new. However, there is no closet in the room, there were only a few shelves where you ... could store your clothes. In conclusion, the ideal city tour Hotel. read more

The hotel was in a great location, close to the river and other sight seeing areas. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it for a quick 1-3 day trip to Lucerne. read more

The location of the hotel is wonderful. 5 minutes can walk to major attractions. However, the hotel has no A/C, so it is very very warm in the summer. Our room is facing the garden, so it is lucky that we can open the window the whole night, but still very warm. read more

Good location for a city break. We had a room facing the street, which was a little noisy was, because of the heat the windows were open.
There was a fan, but this cleans the fuse. read more

The hotel is centrally located in Lucerne, whereas the rooms quiet location. The room itself was clean and appropriately equipped. Shopping possibilities directly in front of the door, and the sea can be reached in five minutes on foot. Only the parking is expensive despite discount (about 30-40SF/day).
The breakfast buffet is well stocked, but was no longer refilled by the end (and those, came later, had a disadvantage...). read more

The hotel is located in a very good central location (only about 200 meters to the sea) with a large shopping centre with park as a neighbor, the opportunity to specific conditions. Entrance a bit hard to get used to (narrow unassuming, elevator to the second floor, facing the front desk)! Then we got the room key, with which one also the elevator to the floor to serve. Front desk not served, one exchanges but at a board the key to a smaller to carry out in the outcome. We had a very quiet garden room without any traffic noise ..., great! The breakfast were really good, but sufficient for us, since we anyway didn't eat meat for breakfast. For a short stay ideally, we'll be back! read more
