Very nice hotel in very good condition. The hygiene is for Egypt very good. Breakfast buffet was rich and very clean.
Since we only overnight stay with breakfast had booked we are evenings on the panoramic terrace eat out. We had a steak for egyptian conditions was very good. It were many germans and french guests represented. read more

You will find everything that you need, the staff are very friendly and helpful, it's all clean and the prices of the restaurant are OK. We stayed three nights in this hotel and organized trips to Cairo and the pyramids made. In the evening we visited the sound and light show at the pyramids, which due to the small distance was very comfortable. Positive we have found, that despite our late arrival (close to midnight) from a food variety select and the bar a good selection of beverages offered. In addition we received very early on the morning of departure, a well-appointed breakfast box on the trip. Not quite up to 5-star standards we found the breakfast buffet. On the other hand was the Thai ... restaurant was very neat and inexpensive. The friendliness of the staff in all areas from our point of view it was no Beanstandandungen. I was surprised and in after inside all around satisfied. Especially I was impressed by the warm art, the friendliness of the staff and the amazing service. As a lone traveler it is not always sunday
had only breakfast booked. Great food you can for example at the pool bar and in the restaurant. The buffet is simply brilliant. The hotel has a ATM, a small shop, but quiet overlooked should.
the Mövenpick pyramids is a hotel, the you quiet can recommend it with a clear conscience.

We arrived at the hotel (22 hours) were we to eat in the dining room there was sent an extensive buffet set up. The containers were in zusammengeschüttete scratched, stale leftovers from dinner. We have given us then satisfied with pasta and potatoes. The waiter was a buffet so embarrassed by the sight of the us from the kitchen, he has brought the actually for the staff definitely meatballs were! The only comprehensive on this evening was the invoice, about 90 for four people.
The hotel is for a couple of days but not longer OK. It is almost no ... shops, bars, etc. in close proximity to the one walking distance.
I was already in many Movenpick hotels but this is the worst clearly. read more

Negative: the dishes from the previous guest was on the table in the evening of our terrace. The window in the room is only a gap wide open to. The coffee for breakfast was bitter and certainly not the Mövenpick-coffee, the fruit salad fermented.
Positive: the cutlery was cleared in the course of the night away. We were allowed early check out to 5:30 a.m. the breakfast (sche entl impressive 6:00 H beginning only).
The staff was friendly, the service was good. read more

As a base for a sightseeing tour in Giza (pyramids/Sphinx) and excursions to sakkara and Memphis the hotel is well located, for trips into the city it is very far away. Without any atmosphere, with a large lobby, a unpleasant restaurant (with at least at the buffet early erkaltetem, little tasty food at night and a better breakfast), as well as a bar with rugged schnepfigem staff, the reception, a kind of ice cream parlor and the entrance to a Thai restaurant are. It is on a neighboring building a outdoor bar (the waiter reminded of Freddie Frinton 'dinner for ... one'), a beautiful view on the pyramids has pretty pictures (and the Mercure hotel, the pyramids road.), access to during our stay either on the fire escape stairway or through with painter ladders, debris, builders, respectively.
The something elderly, but with all what you need-equipped room are beautiful large and feature as well as a relatively large bathroom, you are in about 20 on the grounds distributed low-rise buildings each with a few rooms. The location of the hotel is for the visit to the pyramids of Giza excellent, but for a city trip to cairo unsuitable. Also the metro, the for a part of the city center very well to use is, brings a this hotel, as the away to the metro especially busy and so is the walk to the metro is approximately the same as the drive into the city center. Also the hotel is diametrically opposed to the airport (transfer ... about 60 minutes also). The hotel itself is very beautiful in the years come. Bathroom was quite moldy and everything what one touched, it was also right in the hand. Process or not. The pool could not be used, since it is currently being renovated. The breakfast is OK, but not especially worth mentioning. The drink prices were unfortunately also very important: local Stella beer Euro 5, large bottle of water 3 euros. read more

Room very worn, in need to be renovated; area is quite
nicely decorated. Hotel is probably used mostly for round trips and businessmen, the more than 1 or two days stay there. Thang Loi from other hotels were there also with buses passed to the lunch there, so coming and going, as coffee!

Has a main building with reception the hotel, the restaurant and the bar, the room are located in a garden area, ground floor with terrace are bungalows designed and absolutely in a quiet location. After a arduous day of sightseeing in cairo with appropriate noise, the hotel is a oasis of relaxation. If one swam a few laps in the pool and then the very good and varied evening buffet (the dessert buffet is for them to beat). From the roof cafe has a beautiful view on the pyramids and enjoy a drink in front of the nightcap. The hotel ... has often very early departures are also on the guests set (also we were to 04:45 picked for our flight to Luxor), so that the breakfast buffet from 04:00 A.M. available, an exceptional service! We were greeted by Phoenix-travel to this hotel. 2 nights in cairo. In the evening the bar is the guest ten percent for five minutes live singing in charge. A nerve with this already very overpriced drinks prices. The pyramids are to foot from here to reach. But overall is simply nothing. No stores or the like. Pool closes to six hours, 35 degrees at this is to early. Food in the morning was very poor and not five star house with dignity. read more
