We were at the start and at the end our round trip each for three days in jetwing beach and from the start very comfortable! At the check-in you get cold towels and a welcome drink. The bed was great comfortable and was every day differently decorated. The food was each evening a highlight! Either there were buffet or a menu. We were already 20 years ago in the same hotel, which then royal Oceanic was called. We have a very nice vacation the jetwing beach spent. The hotel is pleasant quiet, no animation, no hecticness, no annoying Scramble for free beach chairs. We had every day the freedom of choice on the wonderful Palm beach. The hotel is ideal for all, the a relaxing beach vacation in pleasant atmosphere would like to spend. The possibilities for excursions are however modest, the arrival each many hours long and the objectives are not really spectacular. For our 15-year-old son it was rather boring, since there is no entertainment is offered and no tennis, pool, table tennis etc. And ... only couples or families with small children in the hotel were. The small town is very nice and you definitely quite nice around restaurants, bars and shops that you can reach. The staff were very friendly and always to hard the guest. read more

We were absolutely surprised by the large rooms furnished in the traditional style of the country, as well as the huge bathroom with shower and bathtub. Just great! The food is delicious and there was a huge selection ranging from local to European food. The prices for food and drinks in the hotel are expensive in relation to the places "right around the corner". It is therefore in any case worthwhile to eat in the nearby places or go there for an evening drink. If you want to meet people, you will find nice conversant people in the bars and ... even some Germans who have stranded in Negombo. Negombo is wonderful for a seaside vacation. If you want to explore Sri Lanka, and get to know the culture, the sights, you should include an excursion of at least two days or look for an accommodation in the middle of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is not a big island, but the roads are not very good, so that a distance of about 150 kilometer takes you about four hours. The hotel has a nice location on the beautiful beach outside of negombo, walks along the beach are possible. Shopping for snacks, and restaurants are nearby. Unfortunately the room does not have a separate toilet, with the is a only through glass room separate from the bathroom unpleasant. Consequently, the dark blinds remain closed. Overall the room is well equipped, but offer for a longer stay to little storage space. The condition of the furniture shows lack of maintenance (for example, banging the closet and ... doors). From the balcony with table and two armchairs with a beautiful view on the sea has. Also the pool with many pool chairs under the shade of palm trees constructed is attractively decorated. The hotel is in a very good condition and always clean. We have seen nothing of construction. The hotel is located very close to the airport, after a long flight very what advantage is.
