The hotel has approximately 22 rooms, 1 breakfast restaurant, front desk, garden, a in the garden ownership comfortable tavern with a terrace, fernesehecke, direct access to the beach. We booked a week night/ half board. The hotel is but also only including breakfast bookable. The types of people are difficult to describe. It were lots of regular guests there. Guests the average age probably around 40 it were but also young couple there. Guests mainly German, a few greek and a few russians. read more

    The rooms are big enough ( but not huge). There are a bed ( we had a queen size bed (140 times 200 ), fridge, satellite -tv-( free of charge, with German channels), table, armchair, chair, luggage rack, kleidershrank with enough clothes hangers, safe ( free of charge ), air conditioning ( free of charge). The bathroom is rather small and well arranged. Actually, it was already itself survived. Hotel needs some work. It is very small. But - it was clean and that is the main thing. The balcony offers afternoon sun and there is a table and 2 chairs. Space you could comfortably for 4a 5 persons - so a big balcony.

    As already mentioned is the breakfast restaurant in the main building. Altogether it is lovingly decorated and very clean. Breakfast offers everything you like. 3 kinds of bread plus toast to toast yourself. 4 types of sausage and 2-3 cheeses. 4 different marmelade & konfitürren. Honey was always on the table. 4 juices and fresh whole milk were exactly standard like boiled eggs, muesli, cereals, fruit salad and fresh fruits. The quality of the breakfast was very good. The tavern actually only from 12 to 15 and 19 until o'clock on. At the end but there was from o'clock until o'clock always warm kitchen. Also the tavern is a sweetie. Lovingly decorated and clean. Nikitas-a skilled chef and owner of the hotel - cooks not more even (only in exceptional cases, for example for us a joy with a special food). The selection on the menu is large. Typical greek dishes, as you but in this country not included in the greek restaurant will get. We were daily lunch à-la-carte to eat, with a main course and a drink with etwa 10 Euro to book beating. So completely ok. The portions were just and the food delicious. The cook is the spices and has a good talent. The half board was always a -course menu. There were always 2 main courses for choice. Also here the food only be rated very well. The wine selection is good. I however recommend the house wine, the nikitas even grows and kletert. This gives it in white, rosé and red. At nikatas, the sometimes the overview to lose seems, is a real entertainer lost. So begins he already times loud to sing in the middle in the restaurant or he schmiesst the whole evening a round Ouzo after the other ( because he name day had). He in any case is the bomb, even if he sometimes maybe a little 'disgruntled' popular, testified he short mood the full contrary. Its employee (liliana?) they spoke no German, English or otherwise which. But also that was no matter. We are nevertheless super clear and much gelaucht. The sprachmanko it makes with their nature more than made up for it.

    The arrival was early, so that we have been at o'clock in the hotel were. The room was not yet free, but wasn't bad. The departure until o'clock possible. We were just too early and the hotel was fully booked. So, we just waited. The very friendly and attentive staff Nathalie and welcomed and greeted with a handshake. The waiting time we spend on the terrace in the garden with a latte. Therefore we could the beautiful enjoy the view of the sea. The coffee was also on the house, because we just had to wait. Nathalie was also for breakfast and the front desk responsible. It has great and really and meant seriously cares for the guests. Is is that supposed to be. Thanks for that again. Also the chef-nikitas-has some contribution, that we all around comfortable. Next to greek fluent German & English spoken. Nikitas speaks but also ' tatters' Russian and controlled probably bulgarian. The cleaning of the rooms was extremely discreet and very conscientiously. I would-it are prejudices-not possible. Another plus point.

    The beach ligt right under the hotel. One must thus only one stairs down and is already there. Loungers there were enough available. The beach itself is a pebble beach, like in Greece usual. He is very clean and also the water has a very good quality and it is crystal clear. Sun screens there is also, unfortunately missing stand, so that one the schrirm first time in the beach ram must. If it's windy, it will however rather wobbly. If you are looking for a beautiful surf searches, rather disappointed. The water is mostly very smooth and has rather pool-character. That is however great for snorkeling. Bathing shoe/ shoes are urgently recommended, as it is next to the pebbles also sea-hedgehogs has. This can hurt. Further entertainment there was thankfully not.

    We traveled over Thessaloniki with air Berlin. The transfer with the bus took about 1.5 -2 hours ( organized on the tour operator). The hotel is very isolated, nearby nikiti (circa 10 kilometer). The 'location' elia beach is rather well arranged. There are a five star hotel, where there is a mini market, and various apartment houses. That was it. The loneliness and total peace searches (as we) is here wholeheartedly correctly. Excursions are only with a rental car possible. A bus runs in the 3-hour -tact until Thessaloniki, is however hardly any recommendable. This hotel as a starting point for excursions to take, I would not recommend. This house is rather for a relaxing beach vacation and relaxation.

We felt very probably there. A place for wonderful relaxation. In the area there was nothing to buy and public bus lines one came rather rather bad way or back to the hotel. Who with which can start is there correctly. Who the peace and quiet loves, the beach and daily wonderful sunset is just perfect. read more

Beautiful small and cozy hotel with very good tavern. The rooms are very clean. Laundry was on request daily. Amenities included a fridge:-), a kettle, a well functioning air conditioning:-) and a safe. The size of the bathroom was adequate, but could be bigger. The natural beach offers enough sun and shade. The clear sea water is ideal for snorkeling or swimming. The willingness to help and the service of the staff were great. A truly beautiful Oasis to relax and relax. read more

It is not just a review effect. Now with some time gap since our return; yes, a pleasant and extremely relaxing vacation with some faults! This arose from the room, especially the micro bathroom and but somewhat monotonous food (daily mincemeat in all variations) Balanced and therefore the plus: The complex altogether very well maintained, has peace from, the beach small, quiet and relaxing! No animation, no noise, pure relaxation! read more

    The shortcoming of the hotel, oK a small complex, 3 star, as we expect, that not everything is perfect. In sum the room was clean, but movement/relaxation was impossible, the bathroom ( size, specially the shower) would like I not to commentate!

    After it all around as good as nothing else, we had booked half board. In hindsight a mistake, not the menus not tasty, but every day minced meat is a no-go! The map is better alternative, whatever we then had used!

    Not particularly good! Depending on the daily condition, one more time friendly, then again grumpy! Very helpful the morning crew, from breakfast till to the cleaning of the rooms!

    Not available, No pool, no animation and so on. And it was perfect so! Who needs a pool, if you 50 meters away from the sea are and de facto your own quiet private sector did!

    In sum, there is nothing. No promenade for strolls. If you want to do something, you need a car. This we had and so could further distance several villages and beaches visit. But also here, anyone who wants too much undertake, if the recuperation in the foreground stands!

Who travel a lot I can reassure me say: this is one of the best hotels, if not even the best hotel, I have ever stayed in. There was nothing, which I at the hotel Virginia to complain about would have. Every little corner and every small angle in the hotel, in the hotel tavern and on the whole area is nicely decorated, furnished and coordinated. One notices on every centimetre, how much love here was put. The hotel is a family run, in the nikitas and his wife Karin daily hard, supported by its industrious, friendly and courteous staff ..., who are all already many years there are and literally a family -the transfers itself also on the atmosphere. The hotel is two-storied, has altogether 22 or 23 room ( the majority are double room), are all towards the sea and the green. Every room has a terrace ( below ) or a balcony ( on the 2nd floor) and view of the sea! Especially bezaubernd is the typical greek style, both hotel, as well as hotel's own tavern ( in the garden of the hotel) are decorated in white, blue and feature simple beauty. Throughout the stay I neither in the room, yet for the food, or in any part of the reasons complex part found, the was not clean! I think, that I hardly a clean room stayed in. The guests are mostly couples or families with small children, mostly however peace searching, older couples. The average age I would about 45 years will appreciate. The majority the vacationer are German, the greek owner nikitas speaks outstanding German, his wife and his long-time receptionist and industrious bees for everything, Natalie, are both German. Communication problems there were therefore not at all. My mother and I had only accommodation booked with breakfast included, the majority of the guests had however half board elective. I would however only breakfast ( delicious and something for everyone there) recommend, since you then choose from the menu of excellent tavern one of the delicious menu and reasonably priced even at the end better whcih. read more

    The rooms have all a balcony or a terrace with direct view of the beautiful garden and the right in front of the house lying sea. Most the room are quite small, so you for example the luggages hardly parking (there is a trunk in the hotel), which mostly belonged point of criticism the other guests was. Otherwise expressed several guests, from bathroom be disappointed. This is relatively small, in my opinion but sufficient large, the showers are however already very small. Altogether I found the bathroom more than enough and above all clean, however a bit dated and small. The room itself and the furniture, both the balcony were lovely, unfortunately was however our mückengitter ( urgently necessary) quite generous torn, so that the mosquitoes us very plagued have. There is however in every room a plug, of which some persons however gotten a headache. Air conditioning is available, as well as a safe and a flat screen-tv, a small fridge, a hair dryer etc... Everything, that you need. The rooms are pretty and with the everywhere in the hotel tangible carefully furnished. Only point of criticism with some guests, as described, the bathroom was and the size of the room. Super comfortable bed and a wonderful stone wall made for feel-good atmosphere

    The extensive breakfast together in the sweet equipped, open breakfast area of the hotel with beautiful views of garden, terrace and sea restaurant. There is something there for any taste, everything was fresh, tasty and of high quality. Both greek yoghurt with honey, as well as muesli to put together yourself, breads, toast, vegetables and fruit, ham and sausage of various kinds, boiled eggs, as well as different juices, fresh milk, tea any thinkable sort, coffee etc... Everything for everyone. The half board guests can either lunch or dinner in the hotel tavern take, every, really every dish great tastes. Although we only booked breakfast had, we have every lunch in the tavern with lovely view in the open a great salad and every dinner with fresh salads, grilled fish or meat enjoyed. Everything typical greek and basic stunning delicious. One must nowhere eat differently, we tried, are nevertheless again to virgnia back swept and from then on only ate there.

    The service in the Virginia leaves also nothing to be desired. Every single member of the staff is friendly, nicely, competently and accommodating and knows his task excellently to do. A perfect, friendly team, which friendly, informal atmosphere sprays. As German or English-speaking, you had no communication problems. As already mentioned, was the whole hotel spotless clean, all drawers, panels etc. In the room were all dust released and the daily cleaning the room was tipptopps. The rooms and the mattress (!) a special reinigungstechnik cleaned, so that even people with allergies no problems should have and it is also just much better sleep, if you know, that the mattress of mites and all other impurities liberated. If you Virginia entertainment, sports, games and fun or additional services also in the area searches, is at the wrong place. Peace, the wonderful view direct on the sea, the charming sunset from the tavernenterrasse, hospitality and excellent food the points of the hotel.

    The Virginia is right at the waterfront located, the pebble beach (bathing shoes urgently recommended) through the garden about a short flight of stairs and really belongs to the hotel area. The water is lovely, the beach section very small and pebbly, but I found it nevertheless super, since the pine trees for example natural shade, nevertheless but also enough lie is for the standing ready sun loungers were available. The next larger place, nikiti, is about 10 minutes' drive away. There are shops actually also only there, apart from a small mini market (very small) in the hotel complex next door (2-minute walk from the Virginia). Excursions in the area, for example a sithonia -peninsula tour with your own car, to the mountainous hinterland or by boat along of the peninsula athos are beautifully and recommendable, a hired car I think urgently necessary. The Virginia is approximately 1 hour away about from Thessaloniki airport.

The Urlaushotel Virginia is a very well maintained hotel with long-standing active very friendly and helpful staff inside and the very friendly and good German speaking owner of the hotel Nikitas C. A variety of interesting antiques decorate breakfast and lounge, as well as the stairways and hallways. The varied and very schmachhafte typical Greek kitchen by chef Giannis left nothing to be desired. Numerous guests are repeat offender. We will also come back, because of its own clean beach and the peaceful surroundings suggests for hiking at. The peninsula Athos and the historically important excavation Olynthos are easy to ... reach. read more

Important for a holiday at Hotel Virginia expectations are the right ones. The hotel had excellent shopping opportunities not a five star hotel, but by individuality. Single member of the staff to make the hotel very valuable. Even though the above assessment not very good one, we would come back anytime. ps Hotel Virginia: the beach is gorgeous read more

Because of its small number of select and the remote location, for us it was a winner! Many secluded tree in the garden with sea view-guarantee a lot of time together! read more

About 20-room-small house directly located on the sea. With fantastic views of the hotel's tavern on the sea. Very clean and well-kept area, room OK, bathroom was something the small. The staff and the owners are very competent and friendly. A few steps is it right on the beach, almost on the one under itself is located. Food: we had booked only with breakfast, as we had done a lot. The breakfast was very good, there are small hotels in comparison it is typical Greek rather plain, is certainly also at the German show. Dinner had us not so impressed ..., we had but only once, so only partially meaningful. For excursions and visits in the evening tavernas you definitely needed a car, the best book vorabab airport, are very many suppliers. Assessment Inst total very positive. Spent a wonderful week in the hotel and exactly what we were hoping for. Peace, tranquility, great beach with crystal-clear water, nice room with a very small bathroom (shower perhaps a little tiny). The staff and the manager were extremely friendly and attentive. Wishes were fulfilled immediately. The atmosphere in the area was very relaxing. If you are looking for night life takes places and is completely wrong but to Kräftesammeln and relax there is hardly any nicer spot. We had only booked breakfast since we decided from the menu, despite that we often also the dessert or the starter ... the half board guests. We will definitely return and would highly recommend this hotel. read more

Even the owner calls its hotel "the most beautiful terrace the Welt" ... With that, he right. The view is very nice. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a pool or similar.! The beach is very nature which speaks for itself, but sadly also fairly much Treiholz from the sea. read more

Very original, small, and very pleasant hotel with very well-kept grounds and ample parking in front of the hotel. Very clean in the indoor gastronomy area. The outdoor gastronomy area also clean, but its location in the garden, with small, no further important flaws in the chairs ( for example by weather). All hotel rooms, as far as we could see, with a sea view and balcony. Also comes with mosquito spray at the sound-proofed door to the balcony, a very effective air-conditioner, a small fridge and a safe-deposit box. Finally, the noted the beds aren't worn out - very ... good. The bathroom was however very small and also with flaws, but all in all, always clean. The location of the hotel, right on the sea and with direct access to the small beach (stones) is for vacationers, who enjoyed rather quiet, ideal. Beach chairs and umbrellas. Unfortunately no sandy beach and for the access to the sea you must recommend skid shoes! On the cleanliness at the beach could be a little more closely. Smoking is allowed, hence cigarette butts here and there. The small size, it had a very informal atmosphere, with very friendly staff, the almost all speak German. For all questions and requests and approachable, especially to be highlighted open in summer, the front desk and breakfast staff members, young woman from Germany. But the two nice service staff of the evening gastronomy. Very good breakfast with vers. breads, jams, fruit, cold meat and cheese platter, eggs, juices, and so on. Beautiful holiday with small flaws. We had booked 9 days, on personal recommendation, the described reviews and the description of the catalog from DERTOUR. There is the additional unit described on page 50 ( jacuzzi, steam room, sauna) - the but not! The bathroom could use a remodel ( bald rust on the shower head, the first signs of spores, smelly drain). The rooms are simple and clean. The hotel was, as already described, carefully furnished, with an eye for details. We had booked half board. The dinner ( menu) is really delicious ( starter, main course, dessert ( usually ... fruit)), but not always accurate. D. Which meant it could happen that around 8:00 pm the menu for the half-board guests away. Came several times before, we even 1x met. Alternatively there is then grilled ( souvlaki, kebap). It has already happened for lunch and is ok, just not "special" and in relation to the paid rate above average expensive. There were super delicious menu typical Greek food you so at home with the Greeks. The chef in the kitchen. What we noticed: He was moody and noisy. The two breakfast waiters get a song Vorgesungen one night and the next thing I knew staucht them as from all guests loudly together. Maybe it was because of the early departure of the Greeks and then or its second Lieblingsteam Ghana. A day in the afternoon and the air-conditioning broke down until the next morning reboot ( would have been possible according to our neighbors). What else to say: The water is crystal clear, the beach over a staircase walking distance from the hotel. Beach shoes (pebble beach) are highly recommended. If you want to "only" peace and relaxation, it was satisfying a week. In one day with a rental car easily circling the Sithonia and each town of funky. Neos Marmaras is nice and especially the Karidi Beach (similar to a lagoon). Nikiti ( about 8 kilometers) not worth, unless you want to stock up on the Lidl with drinks and fruit. The location of the hotel had been described several times. Almost exclusively German guests, mainly 50 +. A real highlight and good for the hotel is in the service Nathalie, the super friendly and competent to 4:00 pm throw the shop. read more

We booked this hotel for 4 nights following our trip. The hotel had a very quiet location at the elia beach. The distance from Nikiti or Neos Marmaras is about the same. Around the hotel there are no tavernas and leisure facilities, just a supermarket. Ideal for those seeking peace. We recommend to rent a car, to be flexible. It seems a bus connection to give. The hotel is very carefully furnished and clean. The staff speaks German and was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good, the taverna we only lunch once used for a snack, was ... good. The rooms are clean and adequately equipped, but very small. A few sqm more would be a good idea. The bathroom is small and because the impression as it might be a renovation, but it is very clean. The beach area is large, the water was clear and lounge chairs are also available. There are a few umbrellas, but overall the hotel take he little shade. For those seeking peace absolutely ideal. A little tip: bring mosquito repellent, unless you want to spend your time in the sunset outside read more

We found the hotel, we were looking for: Quiet with greek flavor, right on the beach, which wasn't crowded. Free beach chairs are plentiful. Friendly welcome; friendly service at meals. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and good. The dinner with half board was unfortunately not satisfactory. There is no choice for starters and desserts, the very poor and only after a long wait. The choice of two main courses are tasty but filling they're not. Pleasant setting for dinner in the hotels own restaurant, the dine indoors and outdoors. Everyone here is wonderful, where it close to nature and cozy. Guests of the hotel Virginia will warm welcome and with Greek food from the chef pampered. Whether from the balcony (from every room has) or the garden area with its quaint winding terraces or the intimate tavern - sea view is ensured and in the evening sunset to the Greek menu including. A few idyllic days in a quiet area, without entertainment - only the sound of the waves, with a magnificent pebble beach, right on the sea front - this can be only in the Virginia hotel experience. The friendly, German speaking staff who are allways prepared to help with local information and us even during the day we arrived at 23 :30 a.m. in the kitchen, we loved it. A small smart hotel without parties. Typical Greek decorated. More for singles or couples. Very courteous staff including the chief. To have something different than the beach and the taverna to experience if you want to rent a car. Sixt is represented here. it is that people think a will be back. The prices in the adjoining tavern moderate. Breakfast and dinner are absolutely Greek and not in Ouzoplatten served us in Germany and Akropolistellern comparable. You have to try the house wine in red and white is from their own cellar. Than digestif you should take a Tsipouro but ... 75 % alcohol. All in all a great holiday. read more
