Were early October in this hotel, as only German on the whole town of magaluf. English and french spend your vacation. Had us a car rented the south-west the island to explore and have the hotel therefore only as a place to stay used. The staff could not speak German, with English you could communicate well. The renovated room, with laminate flooring laid out, were big enough. Towels are changed every day. The cleanliness in the entire hotel was sufficient, the staff always friendly and the food, for a three-star hotel, reasonable. The way to the very nice sandy beach ... is short. In the high season it could however also in this hotel on the edge of magaluf at night very noisy, if the guests from the many bars in the surrounding hotels back. read hotel review

Awesome stay, but not for families or older adults

Had a great time, went with my mother and two of my friends (we're 16). My mum stayed in her own room while we shared a room. lThe hotel itself was clean and maids were kind. I think that customers would be a lot happier if everyone was all-inclusive as there are no free drinks at dinner, INCLUDING water, and free water at the bar only for all-inclusive. read hotel review

The beds are good, the TV is not really worth using as there are few channels and most are in spanish (and why would you watch tv on a holiday?!). The rooms were a fair size. The air conditioning is great but you have to make sure to set it right otherwise you'll wake up in a freezing room! The shower is good and the water turns hot pretty quickly. They do not have a refrigerator in the rooms which is really stupid especially as water isn't free and you can't drink tap water so you have to buy your own bottles.. The safe has a ridiculous cost of 20-30 euro for you to use it.

The hotel had one indoor restaurant and one outdoor bar. It also had an indoor bar but that was only used when the weather was bad (and probably in winter!). The restaurant food for breakfast was good, they had both wholemeal and white bread and baguettes, different types of jam (even jam for diabetics which was thoughtful), cheese, hard boiled eggs. The hot food didn't taste very good, and my friends didn't enjoy the bacon (i'm vegetarian) but apart from that there was a wide choice. (even chips were available sometimes for breakfast which was weird) Sometimes they had churros which were a little stale but otherwise nice. There was free juice and water for breakfast, but the orange juice tasted like squash. Not sure about lunch since we were on half-board and decided on breakfast and dinner. For dinner there were many different things but being vegetarian (and pretty picky!) I didn't find many things I wanted to eat. The vegetables they cooked especially the broccoli wasn't very nice in my opinion, and they grouped vegetables so you couldn't pick the ones you wanted. They didn't label the food very well and I almost started eating an omelette with fish in it which they didn't specify. The cuisine was quite traditional. They also had different types of salami which my friends enjoyed but the paella was not very good. The most ridiculous thing is that they did not have any free drinks at dinner for half-board, not even WATER. I took to carrying a bottle of water down with me when we went to dinner. There was free ice cream which was very good, in nice different flavours such as coconut, vanilla, lemon, chocolate, orange(!), and my favourite, caramel. Although the bar staff were nice, their pizza wasn't very good, and they didn't allow you to eat anything you bought somewhere else, even if they didn't stock it themselves. Breakfast is from 8:30AM til 10:30AM and Dinner is from 6:30PM and i've forgotten the time it closes :)

The staff were very friendly, except some of the kitchen staff who were a bit snappy. Most could understand english quite well. The maids came round everyday at around 9:30 and if you were in they would come later and make the beds and restock toilet paper. If you wanted them to change the towels you would leave them in the bath and they would change them the next time they saw them. You weren't allowed to have the towels out of the hotel room which was a bit annoying because we could have at least been able to use them at the poolside! The laundry service was expensive and annoying, as we paid 13 euros for 8 items to be washed and it arrived later than the receptionist said it would (imagine if we had needed to leave the hotel and our clothes!). On the last day as we were leaving at about 7AM a man came down and complained about noise coming from a certain room and one of the staff saw to it straight away which was good.

The entertainment is BY FAR the greatest thing about this hotel. The entertainment staff Audric and Paula are really kind and friendly. In the daytime activities were stretching, rifle shooting (REALLY FUN!), aquagym (worth a try!), and water polo, pool tournaments, ping pong and darts depending on the day. The hotel isn't really suitable for having small children around and they are not allowed in the pool without supervision, but when a child did come the entertainment staff were nice and gave her pool toys :) In the evenings, entertainment starts with music playing, then diplomas at 9PM if anyone has won in an activity that day. Then, if Audric is working that day there is bingo which is good fun! (I won 40 euro once!) But it also depends how many people are around to play. Then there is either a show (we saw a cabaret and a flamenco show) or a general knowledge quiz. Winning bingo or the quiz also gives a bottle of champagne as a prize which is good! Sometimes there is a disco on but rarely are there people willing to get involved and dance, which is the same for Monday's Karaoke night. There is also a free to use ping pong table (just make sure you tell the current people playing that you want a turn and they'll usually be kind enough to oblige!) and a pool tables by the indoor and outdoor bars, costing 1.50 euros to play each time. After the last activity and before the bar closes at 12AM, the entertainment staff are always willing to play pool or ping pong with the guests (Audric is too good at pool). The internet access is free inside the hotel but once you step outside and are by the pool or bar it is out of range. You can pay for internet access that you can use anywhere in the hotel, such as in your room. As my mum didn't enjoy the holiday much she bought this and the prices were 15 euro for a week, 6 euro for three days (I think) and 4 euro for 1 day, and they give you a username and password to use. On some days there is a jewellery stall set up outside the restaurant which sells some nice stuff. The pool opens from 9AM til 8PM because of the automatic cleaning system. It would have been better if it stayed open til later because it was quite warm in the evenings. The sunbeds are good but make sure you grab the ones that can be raised up and down, and they say not to save a sunbed with your towel but everyone does. There are also sun umbrellas. No lilos are allowed in the pool, yet people do take them because although it is quite a small pool, not many people use it especially in the mornings after breakfast. There is a shower right next to the pool and also toilets. The beach is good. Sometimes packed but it depends which part you sit at. Other parts are ideal for snorkelling but watch out for the sea urchins. There are banana boats for 10 euro and flying ufos and others for 25 euros, which is a bit too expensive. There are also the pedal boats with slides which seem fun. There are lots of nice restaurants around the beach but I suggest Rio de Janeiro, which has a cute little tamed parrot sitting on its perch with a cockateil and lovebird, and nice food. :)

Only a short walk to the beach, 10 minutes at the most. A few tourist shops around the beach which is good for shopping for friends. The airport is a half hour (i think) taxi drive and is about 30 euros depending on the passengers. A taxi drive to central Palma cost a little more. A 15 minute walk from the hotel is the Western Water Park which is good fun for everyone. Also near the water park is Go Karting which looked good but we didn't get a chance.

A very friendly airy hotel of good size but not too big. Set on the edge of Magaluf very near the Pirates Adventure, away from bars but only a five minute walk into Magaluf. The hotel is kept very clean and seating is comfortable in the communaral areas, you stay on a half board basis. All in all, it was in the Don Juan alright but: nobody speaks in the hotel german-english is required. With a little english one gets ahead however well. Entertainment for children is not the whole day, just a few hours in the afternoon. Overall, there were very few children. There were mainly tourists from England since, partly from France. Dinner was partly. In the room because of events in the hotel and outside of the bar-seated tourists loud. But that is in every hotel so. Air conditioning was whole week switched off. It was in the room in the evening ... very hot. It will only seasonal be turned on. That means the description ' room with air-conditioning' does not yet mean, that they are actually be in operation is. read hotel review
