Hotel Tigaiga^{(4 stars)}

Big room with big balcony (seating with aufagen ) and all with a partial ocean view. Excellent quality of the mattress. Furniture already somewhat older, but they are well maintained. Lots of drawers and counter space. Sure about 10 german-speaking tv channels. Clean carpet (by the way on the whole house), you will find no stains, not in the dining room. Than minus we must say, that the lighting in the bathroom was bad. For a ' naßrasierer' it is really difficult, smooth out. The magnifying mirror is too low. For physically not more so you're able bodied people is the entrance into the bathtub rather tedious.

In the main restaurant is the breakfast (also on of the terrace possible) and the dinner restaurant. You are looking for with the head waiter together a table and the reserves for the duration of your stay. Pleasant peaceful atomsphere there the tables not very closely together stand. Breakfast on büfettbasis. Generous offer (bread and pastries, sparkling wine, fish, warm, cold, sweet etc.). Oranges to squeeze out are provided. Dinner in february from 18 hours. Starters buffet cold and warm. Menu from the show from maps. Always with a fish dish. Phenomenal. Beverages at the end of the vacation paid. You get a coupon as a voucher. The price of drinks about as in Austria. Beer 0,33 Euro 2,75; wines of up. At the bar in the evening for example a Grappa 2,75 Euro; a fenet 4,50 Euro... But everything generously poured. During the is 2. restaurant ' tinguaro' with a nice terrace for imbsse or beverages opened. Tips as always judgmental. It is everyone.

The friendliness the entire tigaiga team is not to beat. The owners-family metric ton is always present and care of all additional concerns. All of the staff speak german and english. Room cleaning great, cleaned up to 15 hours. Is the fan in the bathroom failed, the next day was immediately a new installed.

The leisure in the hotel is totally to relax set up. Quiet totally. There is no noisy word in the entire area. The pool is up to 29 degrees heated. Chairs are everywhere ready. There was no annoying occupied. By the pool offers a glass-fronted total wind protection. 'dicke' cushions, matching frotte -coats and umbrellas you get the lifeguard, they will naturally also brought. Bath towels and bathrobes in the room. Chairs are in the hotel's tropical garden set up. Animation and care of children does not give it.

Perfect size with about 80 rooms. Excellent condition and cleanliness of the whole area including the private offered. Garden. Guest structure in february, about 80% german speaking, the remaining 20% english and french. Age average 60 +.

From the airport in the south the island it takes to to the hotel about 1.20 hours are approximately 100 kilometer. with beaches is puerto not so blessed, but offer the wonderful seawater swimming pools (around 25 minutes away on foot) 'lago martiànez' condition relaxation. Puerto actually offers everything. From the hotel one is about minutes directly in of the center. Beautiful stairs by beautiful parks. Lots of restaurants in of the center and the beautiful promenade. Shopping is a matter of taste. Much asian junk, souvenirs, partly. Upscale boutiques, dazw. Rather little. The guidebooks advertised Centro Comercial martiànez is on the decline, many empty shops however therefor a big cheap supermarket. Excursions in the hotel offered (hiking, etc.) , loro parque maps you can have the front desk buy, you save the queue at the counters. Price 33 euros,-. A must. From the hotel on foot circa 30 minutes inexpensive bus services on the whole island. Terminal in the middle of in the center.

Our room was in good condition. In the beds one could even the mattresses adjust from soft to hard or umgekert and the head and foot part. When we were there, there were the beds separated, so that you don't realize, if your partner turned over. The balcony is almost a terrace and we had a beautiful view of on the sea. For the accommodation our clothing was a 3 meters closet available. So lots of space we had never! Everything was very clean and tidy. We had a mini bar with affordable drinks in the room and a safety deposit box for a fee. The room has air conditioning and the bathroom even a bidet.

Also here we were completely thrilled. Near the half board one gets in the evening a 4-course menu, however you with every course always two choices. We found the kitchen as easily. An additional salad bar made completely. Wonderful salad dressings and daily changing salads. The wines are cheap and very good. If you have a bottle of wine one evening creates, it will be the next evening in a wine cooler back on the table. We have never had such good a hotel eaten, if we booked half board have. Everything was fresh and innovative produced. Just a dream! Please do not abate, so that we in our next visit again as good can eat!

For the service we definitely 6 suns. Wether at the front desk, in the restaurants, at the bar, the pool boy, the gardener or the room maids... All are unbelievably friendly and smile at you and say kind 'ola', if you see it. Every question is on the front desk gladly and competent answered.

There is a beautiful heated pool and the pool boy helps one with the cushions and towels. The pool was cleaned regularly. It is a heavenly peace by the pool, no parents with children this hotel book. And you can wonderfully with a swim in the Teide look.

Wonderful old eingesessenes hotel in Puerto de la Cruz. We booked the half board. Wi-fi worked in all rooms and is free of charge. The average age is higher, however therefor there was a pleasant ambience and with the other vacationers good to chat. We have lots of guests met, the winter. Everything is very clean and tidy. A fantastic garden is around the hotel built and you can once a week on a guided tour of the garden part.

The hotel is located above from Puerto de la Cruz, therefore also very quiet located. One has a fantastic view of the sea and on the Teide. The city is easily accessible from 250 stages by a park with waterfalls. Back, you can, if you're sportive, again the stairs top walk or for 3,50 Euro a taxi. In Puerto de la Cruz can one much undertake. A nice promenade invites you to stroll and in of the center you can wonderful small boutiques shopping. Opposite from the hotel there is a park to go jogging. In the morning until in the evening one sees tourists and locals here your swim laps.

The rooms are bright and spacious. The mirrored closets (large and with very many hangers) let more generous appear. The rooms are very quiet; because of a door between the anteroom you get from any noise in the hallway very little with (we hope, that this door during the renovation the room not abolished!). Carpet makes extra for sound damping. The cleaning of the rooms is very good, hand towels were changed after demand changed, bedlinen about twice per week changed. In the bathroom there is usually a bouquet of fresh flowers. An airco is available, we however never used, although we start june already times a couple of days situated had. The rooms either to the east or to the west, so that they never too hot or too cold. The baths are big enough with a shower in the bathtub. A bidet is also available. For every guest there were three towels of different sizes, and a ba demantel. The bathrobes the one-size xl, if you at the front desk after-ask, you got but also a smaller size. Very pleasant: the fan for the bathroom-ventilation can specially be connected, it is not every time automatically with the light.

The breakfast is very good, you can for example orange and grapefruit juice freshly squeeze. There is an excellent cereal, also various fruits, fruit salad, different sorts of cheese and sausage, as well as different kinds of bread. Unfortunately there were almost only cheese, we would have more soft cheese desired. We always get only breakfast, not, because we believe, that the dinner in tigaiga would not be a good idea, but, because we are in a city with such a diverse restaurant offer as Puerto de la Cruz not every evening at the same place to eat. If you do not take half board, you have a reserved table, which for us however never a problem was, as we were already against seven o'clock for breakfast were. At the time the dining room is still quite empty. From time to time we have in the hotel's own restaurant tinguaro eaten, it was always really good. A downer must one however as' only breakfast guest ' swallow: one has for the return trip not as the guests with half board the beautifully decorated 'hasta pronto' -table. I hope, that it is, you no allocated table and that the tigaiga also the return the ' only breakfast guests' pleasure. During the 3. stay we were at least almost like old friends.

All staff is very friendly and willing to help. Of al we with our first stay once after a dentist nearby asked, one has immediately, without that we specially asked, herumtelefoniert and an appointment for us mind. Most of the staff speak good german, are but also gladly on spanish attempts to ausländi -ween guests.

There is entertainment luckily no, just in the evening from time to time live music. Once a week a gartenführung by a dipl. Biologists instead. There is also a Tennis-capacity, garden chess, as well as various fitness equipment. There were enough beach chairs, even if you only in the afternoon, you will find free. The pool is mostly quite empty, so that one in peace swim a few lenghts can.

The hotel has a bit more than 80 rooms. At check in one receives a welcome shelly or orange juice, the bags are brought into the room, in the welcome a fruit basket is available. With your own laptop free of charge in internet go (the codes are at the front desk).

The hotel's location is wonderful, very quiet above Puerto de la Cruz right next to the taoro rark. The center with many restaurants and shops is about a very nicely laid out stairs (a bit more than 200 steps past waterfalls, small ponds and tropi -ween plants) to reach. By car (which one at the front desk can order) is in a couple of minutes on the highway and all parts of tenerife relatively easy to get to. If the hotel's parking are occupied, one always finds a place in the parking lot of the former casinos, from there it is only a couple of steps to the hotel.
